Joe Rogan literally changed my life. About a year and a half ago I started listening to his podcast. Hearing him and his guests (especially Cameron Hanes) discussing health and fitness sparked something in me. I changed my diet, quit drinking beer and started going to the gym. Today I am down 85+ lbs and still lifting and running daily. I ran a PR 11 miles yesterday and am running a 25k trail race in October. Keep Hammering!

I fully respect Joe's privacy to enjoy a work out without a camera in his face but I think he needs to consider a once a month Guest/Anyone/Jamie/No one and he just gets to work out and talk if he wants or just fucking gets after it. Very motivating!!!!

This is awesome. And Joe is 1000% right. I was 167kgs which is around 370 pounds. I changed my portion sizes. Cut out sugar, pasta & breads. I still treat myself now and then but 98% of the time I eat clean wholesome foods. I now weigh 108kgs/238p and feel better than I have felt in 10 years. If I can do it, you can. 👊🏼

Thanks Baklava. This is exactly what I needed today. Doing a Carnivore type thing with fasting and the occasional junk food when the head’s not right. Dropped 65lbs in 3 months started at 390. Ill keep it 100. I started hitting the gym a few months ago. I started great, but i started getting hurt. Shoulder pain, tennis elbow, all of that. So I've slowed down a lot. This video lit a fire in my ass. Ill be hitting the gym tomorrow. Trying full body workouts instead of isolated lifts and machines. Great video, man. Keep it up.

i have a completely surgically repaired shoulder from when i was 17. I am really really really scared to even try testing my shoulder flexibility bcz ptsd from bad pops. this is an inspiring video. I love your attitude and humility. You did those shoulder exercises better than I could ever do

Never train to failure - leave reps in the tank and train strength as a skill Using these two principles got me bigger, stronger, and leaner naturally than I ever thought possible as someone with very average genetics, and I’ve seen it with so many clients over the years.
Tried the Kettle Bells once in the Gym last year and an old back injury surfaced. Walked like I shit myself for a few weeks so be careful around those Kettle Bells.
Never stop tensing your core whenever you lift something. At work or at the gym, slow it down and really focus on it. Even if you're likely to barely engage your core, just make a habit of it. Eventually, you will be f-cking steel and engaging it will be second nature. Almost everyone lacks core muscles, and they're very likely to get back injuries if they lift.
