Is the Rowsing Hymn "And did those feet in Ancient Time" to the tune of Jerusalem - I started off this tune using a Fanfare Intro and this Organ has a Fanfare Stop to Die For!
It was wonderful to hear someone singing along with me too.
Although I wanted to be here for longer as there where rehersals for the up coming Ordinations for Saturday and Sunday. but I manged to get some videos in!
This is where I Travelled some 50 Miles to be here and about an 1hr 30mins, So PLEASE show your support.
See Video Thumb Nail and Video Titles and NPOR Listing for the Venue

I used the Panasonic HC V720 and a matched Pair of Rode NT5's for the Audio.
My Greatful thanks to the Dean of the Cathedral and the Organist for such a friendly welcome.

How I wish this were our national anthem, and so beautifully performed
Many thanks - hearing this Organ in the flesh is something!
What a stunning & brilliant rendition. I was reduced to tears. Thanks indeed.
Thanks for listening!
I'm listening to these my Bose Comfort 15 Headphones on the "Hi" Setting - what a Sound!
My Bose earbuds are dancing to this. This is absolutely incredible.
As we speak ... Bose Quiet Comfort headphones full volume ... full heart ... tears in eyes.
VERY GOOD It was the BEST piece in a 33rpm of Emerson Lake & Palmer when I heard it the first time
Thanks!
A great hymn to ward away the plague, which when this was written could still strike anyone down....just like today.
Many thanks!
@@RobCharles1981 You are more than welcome, I always wanted my youngest son to take up the organ as he went to St Albans school and could have played on the Abbey organ instead he went for the piano. However to be more to the point this piece of music lends itself very well to this instrument, something which is not always the case ! Cheers.
@@williamveres2737 I envy anyone who has access to an organ! I learnt the piano but the organ somehow penetrates my heart more.
What a wonderful rendition of one of the best anthems.
Thank You!
Incredible performance

Another BRILLIANT job played on the organ. I would to like hear this on my DIOCESE organ at Bangor Cathedral.

Good one Rob! I love this tune Jerusalem by Hubert Parry. Believe it or not every year we have in Auckland "A LAST NIGHT OF THE PROMS" like in Royal Albert Hall London and Val & I went on Sunday night to the Auckland Town Hall where it was held and we sang this song, as you do, along with all the other songs. And of course there was the great Auckland Town Hall Organ booming out in the background. Cheers Barry
Thanks for that Barry! :-)
Bostin, Rob!
The tune and your playing, that is ... not the words traditionally associated with this music.
Many thanks Keith - I enjoyed playing this one as you can tell - and done in one take! :-)
Rob,You've made it to the top twenty mark !
Thanks Dave - I must be doing something right! :-)
Very nice Rob. Great sound! Its been a while since I heard this one!

-:) -:) Barry
Yeah that's right they enjoyed I think! :-)
Your playing would be delightful to have on CD.,esp. Brecon Cathedral and All Saints. Btw,who is the builder of the Brecon instrument?
It is such an "English-sound".
Thanks and God bless.
Yes it would - its a Hill Norman and Beard - the NPOR listing is in the video description of the video! :-)
Rob..back when i was much younger, i was given my walking papers by my Pastor for playing the Emerson Lake& Palmer version of this on our Mighty Wicks...I somehow thought he had left the sacristy before i started playing...i finished the piece with a flourish and the bass pedal stops had the stained glass windows chattering..it was quite impressive not int the least...
That's Cool! ;-)
Mark Rocovich why would your Pastor give you the Heave Ho...did you make a mockery out of ELP’s version ?
THANKS AGAIN MR. ROB ! KEEP ON KEEPIN ON .
Thank you! :-)
