Well, they didn't come to play around-they came to PLAY!! I ❤ the synergy with Sammy and Eddie. It's electric!! Superb reaction Hap. Pure joy. Good selection Phoebe. RIP Eddie
Yeah, another banger of theirs. It's amazing when bands are so good that they just can let it all out on stage and play with each other. It’s so infectious and obvious to see that they’re having fun. Great pick Phoebe and incredible reaction as always HAP 🤩🙋🏻♀️.
This was from the first album the group made after lead singer David Lee Roth was replaced with Sammy Hagar. Sammy was already an accomplished musician, and the band continued to have success. There still are (and will probably always be) debates about who was better, David Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar. I like them both, TBH. It did look like they were having a lot of fun with this song, but it sounded great too!! Eddie was amazing!! I love how the three of them got in a line and stayed together while performing. They just had so much fun and energy with this song. Great Reaction HAP!!🌻.
You said it so well that I can only agree with every word! I love when musicians show so openly how they enjoy playing together, it was a pleasure watching them! 👍
The smiles on their faces were priceless. I also liked how they all kind of went nuts at the end and were just dancing and jumping around while playing flawlessly!!!
I don't think I've seen them without David Lee Roth. Sammy Hagar, awesome, I got pulled over listening to I can't drive 55... luckily no ticket. Eddie...RIP, one of the best guitarist 🎸 Great reaction Hap, as always ❤ ✌️ ☮️ 🥷
Good one Phoebe although I've never heard it before. I did see them live but it was the David Lee Roth (part 1) days. Also own some vinyl of theirs but again the DLR earlier days. Thinking we need a bit more VH on this channel! (The bass player was replaced by Wolfie in about 2007? A lot of drama surrounding that but won't go into it here)
Van Halen is the only rock band that comes to mind that I love both versions of. After David left and Sammy came in as a vocalist replacement, they came in with a different sound, but you knew when you heard it, it was the amazing Eddie Van Halen. older Van Halen, you should check out is "Ain't talken bout love" or "mean Street" awesome awesome guitar work. And Sammy Hagar has good music before Van Halen too. Eddie originally started with the drums and his brother Alex started with guitar. They swapped instruments, and a legend was born. Cheers!
