I hope Hasbro eventually gets enough criticism about not making the obvious characters to finally make them because it's kind of appalling that they didn't make all the characters that were actually in the movie
Well, they had to design the toys before the movie was even finished. With limited space, they had to GUESS which characters would be more important than others and make toys accordingly. That's why no-show's like Scorn got a Voyager, whereas with Onslaught, Hasbro likely figured he'd be a characterless drone, especially seeing as he's a reuse of the Long Haul model. With Dreadbot, Hasbro wouldn't be able to get the license. With Berserker, he was a Chevrolet, making getting the license easy.

Ironic how so many characters will not be made into toys considering the fact that the main reason this series is still going is because of the toys/money. Honestly I remember when the DOTM figures and those before were really good. Now the figures just look cheap and poorly made, with a bunch being redecos of old figures.
I was going to get it, it was one of the figures I was pumped to buy after a while of not buying. Untill I saw how terrible the plastic and the solidity in truck mode were. It's a good looking robot, but that's it. You have to keep it in robot.
Agreed that DotM had the worst plastic quality of the movie lines...so stringy and nasty...ech. There's also reports of RotF Bludgeon beginning to melt....
As you said in the video, I would love to see these guys as a toy: Dreadbot, Mohawk, Onslaught, WW2 Bee, WW2 Hot Rod, Bulldog, Daytrader and the Clockwork. (Just imagine if they made a transformer which the alt mode is the 2 legs TRF drone?!)
I agree with all of these, but I would add an honorable mention: that being the crane bot seen just before the decepticons invaded the junkyard. He was behind Hound but was never explained or seen again. He looked like a decepticon from ROTF and I want a third party to make a custom toy of him.

Possible plot: After the events of the Last Knight the Autobots left Earth/Unicron to go back home to rebuild Cybertron using metals and other materials harvested from asteroids and other planetary bodies nearby. Megatron after losing an arm in the final battle falls to earth and lands in England near an abandoned British airbase and takes the form of a RAF Global Hawk drone and goes into hiding. Sensing his presence Cyclonus, and Scourge lead a team consisting of Astro Train, Motor Master, and Night bird to Earth their mission find Megatron and revive Unicron to destroy the humans then retake Cybertron from the Autobots. While the Autobots roam around Cybertron looking for things they can use and rebuilding parts of Cybertron, The Knights then say goodbye to the Autobots and transform into the dragon, and fly into space to retrieve the lost seed that Optimus lost when he was floating in space, they said they could hopefully find the seed and destroy it, so that it can never harm Earth or any planet with life on it. Optimus Prime finds the Forge of Solus Prime after uncovering a corpse of a fallen Prime. He uses the forge’s power to fix Cybertrons core. While little of the Forge’s power is left, he gets a message from…… Prime . In the message …Prime tells Optimus about how Unicorn formed as Earth, and that Cybertron is actually Primus. He then proceeds to tell him about how the Fallen was also working for Quintessa, which is why he wanted to destroy Earth. (Reasoning for Fallen wanting to claim Earths sun.) He also tells him a secret message, about how to destroy Unicron, without harming Earth, but it is not revealed in the scene. Ultra Magnus arrives with his ship. Bumblebee, Optimus, Hound, and Hot Rod meet up with old friend Ultra Magnus. Unknown to the Autobots, Megatron and Quintessa are scouring around the globe looking for other Decepticons that have gone into hiding, and planning ways to destroy Unicorn with the Staff of Merlin, and the forge of Solus prime. The Deceptions arrive at Stone Hedge again and begin their assault. Big Action set piece, all Autobots are there, the Dinobots are there, but they are no match for fighting Quintessa and her army. Quintessa uses her powers and puts the Dinobots in stasis. Meanwhile Megatron and Optimus Prime battle it out, 1 on 1. Its the fight to the death, great visual effects. A bunch of the Decepticons reach Lockdowns ship and steals it flying away. The Autobots don’t notice and are quickly outmatched. Luckily, Ultra Magnus jumps in using the Forge, and knocks some of the Decepticons out. They quickly charge at Megatron who smashes Ultra Magnus’ hand , and shoots Crosshairs in the chest. Megatron flee’s the scene carrying with him the Forge and flee’s. The Autobots mourn Crosshairs death, and do their best to fix Magnus Prime’s hand. It looks like 3 claws(just like in the Transformers Prime tv show). Back on Earth, Quintessa and Megatron prepare to leave Earth with the other Decepticons, and Megatron asks where they are going. Quintessa looks at Megatron and says, “We need the other Creators.” The next scene show the Autobots, mourning and Hound says “Its over, we’ve lost.” and then Prime looks at the camera and says, “Not necessarily.” He then proceeds to tell them a hidden message about the Omega lock, and how if it is used, it can destroy Unicorn, and only the 3 omega keys, can turn it on. The scene ends, with an Optimus Prime speech. End credit scene: The seed crashing on a small planet, the seed explodes and turns the whole planet into “Transformium”.

There is a power core combiner Huffer and the truck mode looked really similar to onslaught so if they use long haul’s robot mode but change it to look like onslaught and have the vehicle mode look like huffer’s but look like the truck onslaught transforms into and Hasbro can just make it into a voyager class
WWII bumblebee and hot rod I'll accept we're not getting but come on Hasbro what about the Decepticons. The only ones they made were Megatron (obviously), barricade (character we already had), berserker (what was the point of even mentioning him), and Nitro (not even what he looks like in the move, but still glad he exists). No Onslaught, mohok, or Dreadbot. The could've easily have replaced wave one Bumblebee and Berserker as well as wave three Scorn since he wasn't even in the movie.
They could easily repaint Brimestone into Mohawk, Onslaught is literally the same robot as Onslaught, and Dreadbot would be the only one they need to actually mould anew for (to my knowledge). Get on it Hasbro
I never actually thought about using the submarine in the toy line, but that was a really good idea Alex, and now I wish they'd make one. For Hooligan, I think retooling the Crankcase toy with the VW shell would be a good idea, but they should also give the toy Crowbar's head design, since Crankcase's head design is different then Crowbar's and Hooligan is essentially just Crowbar with a VW micro-bus mode. I would have loved to have seen a McLaren toy (you did spell McLaren wrong by the way). Also the toy of that GMC TopKick tow truck (it is based on a Ford F-350 in the toy line) is named Longarm. A Hot Rod troop transport truck toy would be cool, but seeing him as a Citroen DS would be cool too, since we never saw him as a robot with that particular alternate mode. I actually kinda think that it is dumb that Hot Rod turns into the troop transport, while Bumblebee is the car. Wouldn't it be more appropriate if Bumblebee was the truck, while Hot Rod has the old hot rod as his alternate mode? Considering that when Bumblebee is in robot mode in those WW2 scenes, his vehicle parts look more like they come from a old army truck or an armored personal carrier, even the tires look like heavy duty ones that would be designed to carry the weight of a large truck or armored vehicle. That is all just my opinion though. My top 10 list is: 10. Voyager Class Bulldog 9. Scout Class Mokawk 8. Deluxe or Voyager Class Canopy (just retool Revenge of the Fallen Long Haul) 7. Deluxe Class Hooligan 6. Deluxe Class WW2 Bumblebee 5. Voyager or Leader Class Autobot Submarine 4. Deluxe Class McLaren Autobot 3. Deluxe Class Citroen DS Hot Rod 2. Deluxe or Voyager Class Excavator Autobot (considering we never even got a Deluxe Class Scrapper, I doubt we'd ever get this guy as a toy, but I can dream right?) 1. Is of course Voyager Class Onslaught. I think it just dam lazy to not find a way to retool the Revenge of the Fallen Long Haul toy and give him the Western Star heavy wrecker as a alternate mode. I'd prefer my idea rather than making him a Leader Class, but I'd still buy a Leader Class Onslaught if that was my only option. Using Sentinel Prime's mold as a possible way of making Onslaught would be interesting, but I'm not too sure how well it would work, cause Sentinel's truck has a more pointy front end then Onslaught's and Onslaught is way more bulky than Sentinel. It would probably be better to just either retool Voyager Long Haul, or create a Leader Class Long Haul, either from scratch or by scaling up the existing Voyager Class mold.
I'm glad my nitro zeus is getting his own figure, but I'm still mad that all the cool new deceptions we were all introduced to got killed off in the first film they debuted in..

I think Mohawk and hooligan should be up on 2 and 3 two because ww2 hotrod, bumble bee and bulldog were only in one scene and were so unimportant but I do think a leader class onslaught would totally be nessasary but their was a photo of a voyager class onslaught

It's about time third parties tackled the movieverse...though, I do wonder what is up with the vehicle mode licensing? Obviously they wouldn't have a chance at getting it, so do they change the vehicle mode slightly? Or hope Ferrari ignore it?
It smells of being fakes or cancelled, but the takedown notice and lining up with the far more real looking Power of the Primes stuff makes it look more real. I'm not getting my hopes up...but hopefully it will lead to me being pleasantly surprised.

Sensing his presence Cyclonus, and Scourge lead a team consisting of Astro Train, Motor Master, and Night bird to Earth their mission find Megatron and revive Unicron to destroy the humans then retake Cybertron from the Autobots. While the Autobots roam around Cybertron looking for things they can use and rebuilding parts of Cybertron, The Knights then say goodbye to the Autobots and transform into the dragon, and fly into space to retrieve the lost seed that Optimus lost when he was floating in space, they said they could hopefully find the seed and destroy it, so that it can never harm Earth or any planet with life on it. Optimus Prime finds the Forge of Solus Prime after uncovering a corpse of a fallen Prime. He uses the forge’s power to fix Cybertrons core. While little of the Forge’s power is left, he gets a message from…… Prime . In the message …Prime tells Optimus about how Unicorn formed as Earth, and that Cybertron is actually Primus. He then proceeds to tell him about how the Fallen was also working for Quintessa, which is why he wanted to destroy Earth. (Reasoning for Fallen wanting to claim Earths sun.) He also tells him a secret message, about how to destroy Unicron, without harming Earth, but it is not revealed in the scene. Ultra Magnus arrives with his ship. Bumblebee, Optimus, Hound, and Hot Rod meet up with old friend Ultra Magnus. Unknown to the Autobots, Megatron and Quintessa are scouring around the globe looking for other Decepticons that have gone into hiding, and planning ways to destroy Unicorn with the Staff of Merlin, and the forge of Solus prime. The Deceptions arrive at Stone Hedge again and begin their assault. Big Action set piece, all Autobots are there, the Dinobots are there, but they are no match for fighting Quintessa and her army. Quintessa uses her powers and puts the Dinobots in stasis. Meanwhile Megatron and Optimus Prime battle it out, 1 on 1. Its the fight to the death, great visual effects. A bunch of the Decepticons reach Lockdowns ship and steals it flying away. The Autobots don’t notice and are quickly outmatched. Luckily, Ultra Magnus jumps in using the Forge, and knocks some of the Decepticons out. They quickly charge at Megatron who smashes Ultra Magnus’ hand , and shoots Crosshairs in the chest. Megatron flee’s the scene carrying with him the Forge and flee’s. The Autobots mourn Crosshairs death, and do their best to fix Magnus Prime’s hand. It looks like 3 claws(just like in the Transformers Prime tv show). Back on Earth, Quintessa and Megatron prepare to leave Earth with the other Decepticons, and Megatron asks where they are going. Quintessa looks at Megatron and says, “We need the other Creators.” The next scene show the Autobots, mourning and Hound says “Its over, we’ve lost.” and then Prime looks at the camera and says, “Not necessarily.” He then proceeds to tell them a hidden message about the Omega lock, and how if it is used, it can destroy Unicorn, and only the 3 omega keys, can turn it on. The scene ends, with an Optimus Prime speech. End credit scene: The seed crashing on a small planet, the seed explodes and turns the whole planet into “Transformium”.

There is a power core combiner Huffer and the truck mode looked really similar to onslaught so if they use long haul’s robot mode but change it to look like onslaught and have the vehicle mode look like huffer’s but look like the truck onslaught transforms into and Hasbro can just make it into a voyager class
WWII bumblebee and hot rod I'll accept we're not getting but come on Hasbro what about the Decepticons. The only ones they made were Megatron (obviously), barricade (character we already had), berserker (what was the point of even mentioning him), and Nitro (not even what he looks like in the move, but still glad he exists). No Onslaught, mohok, or Dreadbot. The could've easily have replaced wave one Bumblebee and Berserker as well as wave three Scorn since he wasn't even in the movie.

They could easily repaint Brimestone into Mohawk, Onslaught is literally the same robot as Onslaught, and Dreadbot would be the only one they need to actually mould anew for (to my knowledge). Get on it Hasbro

I never actually thought about using the submarine in the toy line, but that was a really good idea Alex, and now I wish they'd make one.
For Hooligan, I think retooling the Crankcase toy with the VW shell would be a good idea, but they should also give the toy Crowbar's head design, since Crankcase's head design is different then Crowbar's and Hooligan is essentially just Crowbar with a VW micro-bus mode.
I would have loved to have seen a McLaren toy (you did spell McLaren wrong by the way). Also the toy of that GMC TopKick tow truck (it is based on a Ford F-350 in the toy line) is named Longarm.
A Hot Rod troop transport truck toy would be cool, but seeing him as a Citroen DS would be cool too, since we never saw him as a robot with that particular alternate mode. I actually kinda think that it is dumb that Hot Rod turns into the troop transport, while Bumblebee is the car. Wouldn't it be more appropriate if Bumblebee was the truck, while Hot Rod has the old hot rod as his alternate mode? Considering that when Bumblebee is in robot mode in those WW2 scenes, his vehicle parts look more like they come from a old army truck or an armored personal carrier, even the tires look like heavy duty ones that would be designed to carry the weight of a large truck or armored vehicle. That is all just my opinion though.

1. Is of course Voyager Class Onslaught. I think it just dam lazy to not find a way to retool the Revenge of the Fallen Long Haul toy and give him the Western Star heavy wrecker as a alternate mode. I'd prefer my idea rather than making him a Leader Class, but I'd still buy a Leader Class Onslaught if that was my only option. Using Sentinel Prime's mold as a possible way of making Onslaught would be interesting, but I'm not too sure how well it would work, cause Sentinel's truck has a more pointy front end then Onslaught's and Onslaught is way more bulky than Sentinel. It would probably be better to just either retool Voyager Long Haul, or create a Leader Class Long Haul, either from scratch or by scaling up the existing Voyager Class mold.

It smells of being fakes or cancelled, but the takedown notice and lining up with the far more real looking Power of the Primes stuff makes it look more real. I'm not getting my hopes up...but hopefully it will lead to me being pleasantly surprised.
