Optimus Prime in Rise of the Beasts doesn’t hate humans. He just never wanted any of them involved with their war against the Decepticons, as well them trying to get back to Cybertron. But after Airazor got corrupted by Scourge, & was killed by Primal. Optimus was able to redeem himself by apologizing to Noah, for never trusting him & Elena, especially blaming them for Bumblebee’s death. With Noah saying that Optimus was just looking out for his family, like what Noah has been doing for his brother & their mom after their dad died. Which was nice for Noah to help Optimus to defeat Scourge, while saving him from Unicron, with Primal’s help. All of this made Optimus Prime to accept humans as allies who are willing to help them to defeat Megatron, & saving Cybertron.
Being a big bayverse fan, after seeing it in the theatres, Transformers One immediately became my favourite Transformers movie. It might aswell be objectively the best Transformers movie aswell.
@@NeoConnor1not true, first half of revenge of the fallen rivals some of the best moments from any of the films, the second half was wasted by it being massively rushed but doesn’t ruin the film at all
Yo! I agree with everything in this video and it's really good! I just wanna give you some context for Transformers Dark of the Moon and Transformers Rise of the Beasts. What you said about the ending for Transformers Dark of the Moon is that it was changed at the last minute as a leak of a novelisation on Amazon had spread a couple of months before DOTM even came out. But the original ending to it was going to be more memorable, remarkable, and actually an ending to the Bayverse, where Optimus Prime almost gets killed by Sentinel Prime, but then Megatron swoops in to save Optimus Prime's life, but he didn't damage Sentinel Prime enough to make him crawling on the ground like what we had in the ending we eventually gotten. But this goes further, because Megatron and Optimus Prime were supposed to fight together against Sentinel Prime as just Optimus Prime on his own with one of arms being ripped off wouldn't end well. Three hands are better than one. They also go into a huge ass fight in a 2v1, but Optimus Prime and Megatron eventually defeat and kill Sentinel Prime either by sheer force or by using his own cosmic rust cannon against him. But then, after that, Optimus Prime and Megatron go into a necessary, well-needed discussion over whether they should get into a truce to end the ever-lasting war between the Autobots and Decepticons once and for all, or for Optimus Prime to kill Megatron but with Megatron's genuine intent of knowing what he has done on Cybertron and on Earth had been overgrown his constantly rising risk of deserved execution. This was not supposed to be a Bayformers moment (that wasn't even Michael Bay's intent to make in the first place, he was actually furious that he had no choice but to make this change) as that original ending was supposed to be the true ending to the Bayverse Transformers trilogy and franchise as a whole. Fun fact: Transformers Age of Extinction and Transformers The Last Knight weren't supposed to exist. At least in Michael Bay's view. But of course Transformers Dark of the Moon just did *THAT* great in the box office (over 1.1 billion in the box office by the way) that Paramount and Hasbro became that greedy that they forced Michael Bay to go back and make AOE and TLK. Hell, there were even posts between each of the AOE and TLK films that "Michael Bay will be returning for production on Transformers films" from internet sources, while there weren't even one from the original Bayverse Transformers trilogy apart from posts about Michael Bay making the first Bayverse Transformers movie from internet sources (because who wouldn't, it's literally an introduction to a live-action counterpart of the Transformers franchise) because they were films that Michael Bay had intended to direct and produce from the start, while AOE and TLK weren't. There are even small but very important hints of how Michael Bay had intended to make the original Bayverse Transformers trilogy, like at the end of Transformers 2007, Starscream flies into space where he can meet up and lie low with the Fallen for a while until they can setup a plan to resurrect Megatron. Basically setting up Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. And then there's one hint in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen that occurs during the part when Sam Witwicky goes through his mental breakdown in his classroom (yes, that part, I know lol) and he mumbles but briefly mentions a line being "Sentinel Prime expedition", setting up Transformers Dark of the Moon with the Ark crashing on the dark side of the Moon with Sentinel Prime's presence. But did Transformers Dark of the Moon hint at AOE or TLK? No, because those two last Bayverse films weren't even supposed to exist. And there is my context behind the original ending to Transformers Dark of the Moon in comparison to the ne we ended up getting. In the reply to this will be the context behind Optimus Prime's sudden hate for humanity in Transformers Rise of the Beasts.
The context behind Optimus Prime's sudden change in character of hating humans in Transformers Rise of the Beasts is because it is actually explained in the film, but not by Optimus Prime himself, but by Mirage. You see, Optimus Prime in ROTB only wanted to use Earth as a "pitstop" (hence why Bumblebee had established an Autobot base at the end of the Bumblebee movie), to lie low from the war against the Decepticons on Cybertron, but had been prolongued to 7+ years on Earth because the Autobots had no way of transporting themselves back to Cybertron after several years of finding a way back home. Hell, at one point in ROTB, Mirage explains how Optimus Prime blames himself for getting himself and the Autobots stuck here on Earth when he only intended to use Earth as a break from the war on Cybertron, which is why the Transwarp Key exists. The Transwarp Key kind of has two different plots that actually work. The Transwarp Key itself can be used to transport Unicron to a planet if retrieved by Unicron's servants, aka Scourge and the Terrorcons, but the other plot of it is so Optimus Prime and the Autobots has a way of getting back to Cybertron as it can teleport anyone who uses it to anywhere in the galaxy. Which is why Optimus Prime himself one or more times had become hesitant at anyone or himself having to destroy the Transwarp Key as it is the only way to get back to Cybertron and the war. Funnily enough, at the start of ROTB, there was one scene that was going to be in ROTB that would explain this in further detail (and also include the presence of a Decepticon) but had been removed/cut by Paramount due to it being "too dark" in preference to the Transformers fandom/community (cough Transformers Revenge of the Fallen beginning cough cough), but this scene would explain how there is no other way for Optimus Prime and the Autobots to get back to Cybertron as their reliable Autobot ship had been destroyed. Therefore Optimus Prime and the Autobots went into hiding in the established Autobot base. This actually promotes a "robots in disguise" aspect that wasn't actually seen at all in the Bayverse Transformers films apart from maybe the first act of Transformers Age of Extinction, but of course, for that film, that didn't last long. So yeah, Optimus Prime's character arc for hating humans (at first by the way) actually has a lot of context to it which a lot of people either missed, ignored completely just because it was explained by a different transformer, Mirage in particular, or because the character arc of Optimus Prime hating humans had been done in Transformers Age of Extinction, so people will automatically pass that off as lazy or blatant copy pasting in the writing for ROTB. So it's actually done right here, not any sign of "lazy" writing at all. And I actually like ROTB for that. Besides, he eventually learns to grow and warm up to liking humans by the end of it. So there's literally no issue here. And here goes my context about Optimus Prime and his character in Transformers Rise of the Beasts. Sorry for the long ass essays lol. But your content and this video in particular is great and I hope you make more content on Transformers! 💙❤

I like how creative Bumblebee or Mirage got with their transformations in the Reboot films. Bumblebee flattens himself and Mirage turns backwards. Takes transforming to whole new levels. I almost wonder if transforming is a skill that a Cybertronian can get better at. Maybe that's what triple-changers are, Shatter and Dropkick are good enough at transforming that they learned how to turn into more than just a car.
The reason the aspect ratio changes so much in the last 2 Bay movies is due to IMAX. IMAX cameras are very expensive to shoot with, so most movies that were made in IMAX at that point in time used to only use it at some points (for instance Dark Knight Rises). The problem with the Bayformers is that it was used almost at random. Some shots of the same explosion just change aspect ratio because the IMAX wasn't planned well. I mean, the only scene I recall being actually fully in IMAX is... The scene explaining the Romeo and Juliet act.
Transformers one is the best, and I mean THE BEST transformers movie in my opinion. Behind that is Transformers prime Beast hunters Predacons Rising, I just feel like humans mess up these stories way too muchs
As an old dude who was in Junior High when Transformers animated series was on tv and the the animated Movie came out I loved it, but since the show was aimed at 8-14yr olds with no deaths, the movie traumatized a lot of kids who were shocked and freaking out when Optimus died. The show ran for 4 seasons and the movie takes place between seasons 2 and 3. I personally like the Bay films more than Bumble bee or Rise. I haven't seen One yet, but I don't like the animation style, so that's gonna be tough to get past for me. Hand drawn animation is superior to computer animation everyday all day. As disliked as the Bay movies seem now, they still made way more money than any of the newest films have by a large margin.
I get your disappointment with celebrities voicing famous cartoon characters but for the movie it makes sense this is a younger and more youthful Optimus prime and it makes sense why they cast him at the end of the movie his voice change he did do his research by talking to Peter Cohen about the voice of Optimus so I do have to give the filmmakers credit for that.
These films are iconic I can quote so many lines from them Bumblebee Stop Lubracrating The man Shut Up Grandama Give Me Your Face Who would you be without me prime? Time to find out NO OPTIMUMS
I might be alone in this, but I'm so glad that Transformrs One was 3D Animated in 3D and not the comic book style of Spiderverse and TMNT Mutant Mayhem. While that style is absolutely gorgeous I feel like it's being overused at this point, and it's losing it's flair so I'm glad we get a genuine 3D animated movie before we got burnt out with the spiderverse style
i don't get this notion of having Peter Cullen voice every transformers movie. For the live action, sure he can keep doing that, but have some fresh blood ready. The goat is 80 yo. And this is a new universe. We've had different voice actors for the same characters like how many batmans and jokers sound differently.
The best Transformers movie is Dark of the Moon and TFone and the worse is by far The Last Knight. S- Dark of the Moon/TFone, 2007 Transformers A- Revenge of the Fallen is not even that bad, I will defend the twins until the day I die. B-Bumble Bee, Rise of the Beast. C- Age of Extension. 1986 Transformers F- The Last Knight retcon everything from the previous films
15:48 Bay has been very vocal about the fact he stopped caring by 4 and 5. He wanted the story to end at DOTM but then Paramount got greedy and forced him into AOE.
If there was an F-tier, TF5: TLK would be there in a heartbeat. No explanation needed. This sounds like a hot take but I think TF4: AOE is way better than TF5. It has more flaws than pros but TF4 was honestly more fun and TF5 is the film that was marketed to be that serious and dark film that could take the series in a new direction. But failed miserably.
S: Transformers One (2024) A: (huge gap) B: Transformers: The Movie (1987) C: Bumblebee (2018) D: Everything else I remember I was hyped when Transformers (2007) came, but I've got pretty disappointed with the movie. Bad acting, awful writing, annoying characters, moronic humor and incomprehensible fight scenes. Somehow the sequels are even worse, I couldn't stand finishing them. Transformers One is the movie I wished it was launched in 2007 instead. Sadly it might have come up too late...
Michael Bay made a damn good 1st and 3rd transformers film... the 2nd was 50/50 with how people liked it.. the 4th and 5th were just trying to put as much action into the films, that there was little to no story at all. after that, the only good film in my opinion was the bumblebee movie.. I have not seen Transformers One yet
You speak about Transformers despite having no knowledge on it. Also Bumblebee is just such a generic and cliched movie. Transformers One and Predacons Rising are easily the best Transformers Movies when it comes to actual writing.
Haven’t seen Last Knight, but I’ve enjoyed the other movies to varying degrees. I’d like to see one more movie with Cade (Mark Wahlberg) and Sam (Shia LeBeouf) together possibly taking on the Headmasters and I agree with wanting to see a movie set around the war on Cybertron. Here’s my ranking: 1) The Movie (1986) 2) Transformers (2007) 3) One 4) Bumblebee 5) Rise of the Beasts 6) Dark of the Moon 7) Revenge of the Fallen 8) Age of Extinction
Transformers 2007 and Dark of the Moon will forever be goated. Revenge of the Fallen is just outright boring. It’s the only Transformers movie I fell asleep on. The main character being The Fallen only gets 5 minutes of screen time and dies within 5 seconds after getting beat up by Prime. It did pick up during the forest scene but when Optimus died I lost all hope. The desert story was nothing to care about. The final battle wasn’t even that good to me. The only thing that saved the movie was Sam and Bumblebee. Dark of the Moon has the most destruction I’ve ever seen in a movie and that’s why I enjoyed it
Good tier list my tier list would be just change dotm to a tier and rotb to c tier Dotm was goated and i still own the blu ray disc + rotf but rotf is like guilty pleasure wich you skip 50% of to get to the good stuff
Haha only thing I disagree with/u on is the LP song in the 2008 Transformers😂In my mind they changed after the Fort Minor side project and What I’ve Done was when LP went downhill😕And their first two albums are two of my all time favorites, was lucky enough to see them live in Pittsburgh during the Meteora tour😌❤️(I’m a guitarist so I tend to look at music differently, all said above is just imo and no offense meant😀)
Bumblebee is mad overrated, just another "let's make Bee adorable mute robot that only are hooman can get" film. Transformers One is much better and it is not close, also your take on Orion always being bashed for his actions was goofy, what happens when someone acts reckless? They get feedback for it, she also did not even do it that much, and insulted everyone she could lol, she just was harder on Orion, because she clearly has a crush on the guy.
My ranking The films I'll watch again 1. Dark of the Moon 2. Transformers (2007) 3. Revenge of the Fallen The films I'm unlikely to watch again 4. Rise of the Beasts 5. Age of Extinction 6. The Last Knight 7. Bumblebee

Dark of the moon definitely has the best second half out of all of these. CGI aswell
I LOVE the 3 first transformers live action movies and Transformers One. The latter is a underrated cinema masterpiece by the way 🙌
bumblebee is a genuinely FANTASTIC film
At first I didn’t like it but now its awesome
Bumblebee is a pathetic carbon copy of the 2007 film
No, it's terrible
@@paulsoldner9500you're terrible
@@vishnugopalawasthi5888 Projection much?
calling LOCKDOWN not memorable is a crime 😢
Bumblebee is D tier at best
These films are iconic I can quote so many lines from them
Bumblebee Stop Lubracrating The man
Shut Up Grandama
Give Me Your Face
Who would you be without me prime?
Time to find out
NO OPTIMUMS
I might be alone in this, but I'm so glad that Transformrs One was 3D Animated in 3D and not the comic book style of Spiderverse and TMNT Mutant Mayhem. While that style is absolutely gorgeous I feel like it's being overused at this point, and it's losing it's flair so I'm glad we get a genuine 3D animated movie before we got burnt out with the spiderverse style
Love your vids
thank you!!
Had to click off after Goat of the moon being under the 1986 movie unfortunately
I can’t believe dark of the moon had Jim Carey’s Mr robotnik in it 😳😳
My moms 2 years older than the franchise, she was born in 1982
Tf2077>dotm>1986>aoe>rotf>rotb>tlk
33:03 no bro i watched the Gi joe with Channing Tatum, and Marlon alive in it THATS the one we watched😭
i don't get this notion of having Peter Cullen voice every transformers movie. For the live action, sure he can keep doing that, but have some fresh blood ready. The goat is 80 yo. And this is a new universe. We've had different voice actors for the same characters like how many batmans and jokers sound differently.
Transformers One is way better than Bumblebee
Dark of the moon is the best no debate
Thank god we didnt get the michael bay bumblebee movie cuz there was supposed to be one at some point but it was cancelled
Even if Rotf is a bad movie, it’s still my favorite movie of all time
“Hey professor, I’d do anything for an A”
What streaming service did, you find transformers , 86 i want to know
Would've been cool to hear you compare live action transformers to the animated. Like hot rod and quintessa
I would’ve but I still need to watch the show 😭
I’m surprised with the first transformers movie he didn’t talk about Optimus prime dying
Lockdown was so memorable
the thumbnail made me wanna complain
Lol Its a smart tactic that RUclipsrs love called clickbaiting
The best Transformers movie is Dark of the Moon and TFone and the worse is by far The Last Knight.
S- Dark of the Moon/TFone, 2007 Transformers
A- Revenge of the Fallen is not even that bad, I will defend the twins until the day I die.
B-Bumble Bee, Rise of the Beast.
C- Age of Extension. 1986 Transformers
F- The Last Knight retcon everything from the previous films
Goat thumbnail because Bumblebee was at S Tier 😂🔥 every other channel I see it's either mid or ass
Because it is other then the first 2 minutes and some action sequences the movie is literally ass. Which is a shame.
34:47 bro having a nerve breakdown like Sam in TF ROTF😂😂😂😂
You forgot a movie!!!!! "Transformers Prime Beast hunters"
S: Transformers One (2024)
A: (huge gap)
B: Transformers: The Movie (1987)
C: Bumblebee (2018)
D: Everything else
I remember I was hyped when Transformers (2007) came, but I've got pretty disappointed with the movie.
Transformers 1 and Transformers ONE are the goat
transformers 2 is PEAK
Your list is identical to mine I want a prequel to bumblebee so bad
You speak about Transformers despite having no knowledge on it. Also Bumblebee is just such a generic and cliched movie. Transformers One and Predacons Rising are easily the best Transformers Movies when it comes to actual writing.
The entire transformers series is just "idk wtf this is but I like it"
Haven’t seen Last Knight, but I’ve enjoyed the other movies to varying degrees. I’d like to see one more movie with Cade (Mark Wahlberg) and Sam (Shia LeBeouf) together possibly taking on the Headmasters and I agree with wanting to see a movie set around the war on Cybertron. Here’s my ranking:
1) The Movie (1986)
2) Transformers (2007)
3) One
4) Bumblebee
5) Rise of the Beasts
6) Dark of the Moon
7) Revenge of the Fallen
8) Age of Extinction
Transformers 2007 and Dark of the Moon will forever be goated.
Revenge of the Fallen is just outright boring. It’s the only Transformers movie I fell asleep on. The main character being The Fallen only gets 5 minutes of screen time and dies within 5 seconds after getting beat up by Prime. It did pick up during the forest scene but when Optimus died I lost all hope. The desert story was nothing to care about. The final battle wasn’t even that good to me. The only thing that saved the movie was Sam and Bumblebee.
Dark of the Moon has the most destruction I’ve ever seen in a movie and that’s why I enjoyed it
Imagine talking about transformers the movie 1986 and not mentioning the soundtrack
never clicked on a video SO FAST in my life
You should really rank all seasons of dexter
Also love the vids
Good tier list
my tier list would be just change dotm to a tier and rotb to c tier
Dotm was goated and i still own the blu ray disc + rotf but rotf is like guilty pleasure wich you skip 50% of to get to the good stuff
2:27 😂
Bumblebee is overrated... (my opinion)
I think transformers one is the best one. No pun intended there.
where is tf prime movie
I just cant with Michael bay
Haha only thing I disagree with/u on is the LP song in the 2008 Transformers😂In my mind they changed after the Fort Minor side project and What I’ve Done was when LP went downhill😕And their first two albums are two of my all time favorites, was lucky enough to see them live in Pittsburgh during the Meteora tour😌❤️(I’m a guitarist so I tend to look at music differently, all said above is just imo and no offense meant😀)
Babe wake up Dylicioustakes just dropped
for Transformers 1986, you kinda had to be there....
My ranking
The films I'll watch again
1. Dark of the Moon
2. Transformers (2007)
3. Revenge of the Fallen
The films I'm unlikely to watch again
4. Rise of the Beasts
5. Age of Extinction
6. The Last Knight
7. Bumblebee
Transformers prime predacons rising
Perfection beautiful emotional
U copy another nick
What about predacons rising? That movie was S tier
What about Preadcons rising?
Lol... So many of you young dudes ranking films but have no context or history for 86. You are completely wrong about the movie playing out like a regular episode however lol.
Probably best to just leave 86 off of lists unless you guys learn more. I enjoy it more than this new one, but I have zero problems with people who think TF One is the best
Bay didn’t entirely ruin the transformers did he after all the first one was great and didn’t you like how Optimus prime was depicted in the first ones
Transformers Predacons Rising Exists you know
Well Before Megatron he was D-16
Ok the live action trilogy was good. age of extinction and last knight suck
I agree lol
@@DyliciousTakes aoe way better than rotf
i would have put aoe 1 - 2 ahead of the last knight ngl
