I knew that sprayed the paint. Have you try roll and tip method before on a different project? If so which one yield better? Thinking about painting my boat next spring. Just prepping for it.
I researched it as well and it was split down the middle on if I should prime or seal it. I did use a 2k primer over anywhere I had to repair or fair out, but with the paint I used they said I did not need to prime the whole hull. It has held up great and is tough as nails.
You need a bigger compressor. First gun had too little pressure the black widow you were using too much pressure and too big of a fan pattern... Looks good tho
You always do good clean work brother..Great video
Thanks man! Ready to be back on the water!!!
Nice work Bill
Thanks 👍. stating to rig this week thank God!
Looks great, you ought to put a ceramic coating on there, I had my Scout done 3 years ago and it is awesome. No more oxidation. Just a thought!
Looking clean!
Thanks bro
looking good!
Thanks!
Great video Bro...
Appreciate it! Been a lot of work!

I have tried roll and tip but I really am no good at it. So I shoot everything lol
The other thing I did not mention is I had the bottom coated and saw almost a 25% in fuel economy.
Whoa thats crazy. Need that on my big boat!
Why didn’t you use a primer or sealer? I’m about to tackle painting my boat and every website says primer is a must! Thanks in advance

@@JackedUpFishing thanks my dude. Would you remember what primer you used? And about much much paint did you use in total?

Thanks, that paint was tough to work with for sure. Thanks for the tips as I definitely need them.
No respirator???
I know…. I should be for sure. Outside tho so hoping it didn’t take too many years off my life lol
Orange peel because paint wasn’t reduced enough and to much air pressure going through gun
Yup lots of sanding and buffing I had to do. But your right
You should really consider wearing an n95 even though your outside. That paint is not something you want in your respiratory system
Yeah for sure. Just bought a pretty good setup for this new build. Thanks for watching
I myself blow of some safety gear but i will never expose my lungs two urithane paint word of advice dont do that again just sayin please
Yeah, prob should have wore the respirator. It was outside, but that no excuse for sure. Thanks for watching
