Getting better and better!
I'm doing my new stringers right now and cant wait to paint my boat. I hope it will look as good as yours! Good job.
that's great! What kind of boat are you working on? I'm sure it will look Awesome! don't give up, it will be worth it. thanks for following along! :)
Looks like Pebble Beach quality to me excellent work I’m really enjoying this thank you for sharing your journey I’m with you all the way
thanks Tim, I appreciate that!
Awesome work - it looks so great!! Can't wait to see what you decide for a pinstripe!
thank you!
Great Job man! Looks good
Thank you sir! appreciate it
Best to replace the drop cloth again. With it moving chip can break off and get into the paint.
WOW, lOOKS GREAT!
Haha! So glad your able to tune in! ;)
I wish my FBO had a paint booth.
Looks fantastic!
thank you sir!
I think it looks better with the paint on it! 🛥 🎨
Wow looking great bro
thanks man!
Great vid!
Thanks, i'm glad your following along!
Looking great
Thanks David!
Pinstripe that with a colour that matches something from your interior 😉
not a bad idea! the seats will also be red and black, ill have to see what else goes in.
Is this a 15 foot boat?
What paint gun did you use? What size nozzle? Thanks :)
I'm using harbor frights $16 paint gun with a 1.4mm spray nozzle.
So cool, Broke highschool kid looking to buy a cheap boat and do something similar! What do you think the full proccess costs without the cost of the boat?
That's a good questions! I'm still adding everything up. but I can let you know. It also really depends on how much work the boat needs, with mine it cost a bit more because I redid like everything. if you find a boat that may only need transom work then you can keep the cost way lower. Epoxy resins I found was my biggest spender and I needed a lot because the hull need so much work. That was a lesson for me in the future if I buy another boat to rebuild I will make sure the hull is structurally sound.

was the black paint also "topside" paint? or bottom paint. was curious since the topside paint says dont use below the water line for extended soaking but thats what i plan to use (trailer kept)
ruclips.net/video/iWsbhf0rUdI/видео.html
For the bottom of the boat I used JD select, this is a antifouling paint. I did use black topside paint for the side. The longest I keep my boat in the water is 3-4 days, otherwise I keep the boat on the trailer as well. So technically I didn't need to use JD select for the bottom but I was interested in the product and wanted to test it out.
Why didn’t you prime the inside when you did the outside?
I used gelcoat on the floor and carpeted the sides. the gelcoat wouldn't apply well with the primer. otherwise it just did really need it on the inside. :)
Also can you add a witch in the front of the trailer
Winch? it does have a winch already. I removed it just before I painted.🙂 i will put the winch back on soon.
My first car ended up with thousands of the same thing. Took forever to get just right.
did you have to buff the paint?
Was actually fish eye low spots.
Something got through the filter on the air line.
We had to start over down to the primer.
oh man, It's unfortunate these things happen. I bet it looked pristine when it was finished!
@@Project2Potential yes she did. :)
Vote for silver line 😁😁
I was kinda thinking along the same.. silver lines 😏 it would definitely be fitting
How many quarts of red
I bought 4 quarts of red paint and almost used all of it. :)
Quanti psi? Grazie
with the boat paint used I set the gun between 35-45 psi
Gold pin stripe
nono dont wash boat then paint it must dry for many days
The boat dried completely before paint. :)
I wanna be like you also i hit 100 subs
👍 well done!
Interesting but my God, SO MANY ADVERTS. I actually lost count of how many ads but maybe 6, so thumbs down from me.
Bummer. I didn't realize there where so many adds.
