What brand of paint did you guys use???
Looking good nice paint job.wrong color thought a nice sparkle silver would be good with red and blue sparkle striping...
I don't know why everyone always paints boats white... One trick I learned is put a little bug spray liquid off into the paint to keep the bugs off it when painting outside I usually wet down the stones with the hose to keep the dust down ...
hi where did you buy the plastic with tape from also what type of paint and did you need to add hardner etc great job looks new .thanks
Spraying out doors is really the best thing paint booths are just as dirty and sometimes the ventilation systems really suck

What you used to paint a boat? Gelcoat or simple white paint?
Hey love the vid but could you make a video going into the details of your restoration... sanding grits, the exact paints and things to watch for, leveling out the sides, paint paying advice, boats on and off trailers etc.. would be really good to get some advice from someone doing a similar project. Good job so far mate. Im looking at restoring my Haines V19 next winter so im learning a lot from your vids. Just wondering why you opted to use flowcoat on the underside of the hull and 2pack for the rest? Is the flowcoat more hard wearing?
Hey mate thanks for watching, im glad you enjoyed it! Flow coat is a great wearing product, the reason i decided to go this way is that i had everything needed to paint the boat, money wise and personal preference :)

serious question from a newbie when it comes to spray painting , i will be buying an aloy tinnie soon, needs spaying after TLC , would you use one of those Aldi electric with a cord paint sprayers , they sell for about $50 the boat is only worth $600 ? any advice will help here , thanks for your reply .

Today I got quoted $30,000 to paint a 29 foot aluminium cat. Can’t help but feel I’m getting ripped off sooo badly

Never use house paint or automotive paint on a boat!
