Dean's definitely got the X-Factor!! He's original, authentic and charismatic! Combine all of that with excellent guitar skills and musicianship and good strong vocals, and you have someone with a promising chance of success in this show and in the music/entertainment industry!!

There was a signature moment, at the end of the song, where Dean bent over his guitar. Freeze that moment ... think of a silhouette of him bent over ... THAT IS DEAN RAY. Very iconic.

I know Dean and lived with him 9 years ago in a student hostel in Chinchilla. He went out with my sister for a while. He's definitely not arrogant, he's a hard working humble and friendly guy. After he rips up the stage and almost seems to go into a different state while performing he looks up as if he just came back to the planet. His smile is infectious and that look is like a bright eyed kid at Christmas that just got a new puppy.

Dean was already well refined before X Factor at age 22 which is mind boggling. The judges couldn't teach him anything more. He was just there to sky rocket his career.
