Hi Steve, its been a while since you've made a video, so hoping to see you again soon. Great video and a few questions if I may. 1. With your cills, do you position them so they come out inline with the outside of your cladding? 2. Looks like your doors are UPVC, so when sticking down over sealant did you also put fixings through cill and into the floor? 3. When fixing frame and using packers to wedge in, do your 100mm screws go through the packers or just to the side? 4. For the tek screw into steel above frame, do you have to pre drill that? 5. You mentioned toe and heel for doors, but do you still do that for the separate windows as well? Thanks Chris.

Hello Chris! Glad you liked the video! Soooo
1- The placement of the cill is where ever the door needs to sit to the front of the building, I normally go for 180mm thresholds to make sure I get as much over hang as I can.
2 - I Do indeed stick a screw into the floor to stop the threshold from sliding g whilst lifting the doors into place
3- And yes the 100mm screws do make it through
Hope that all helps buddy! :)

Hi, do you use frame extenders on the windows and doors to clear the battens and cladding?

Did you buy the windows and doors "off the shelf"? or made to measure? Planning a garden room build and was just going to get some ready made ones (and plan the apertures to fit during the build). Wickes some ready made ones but reviews are pretty bad.

Hello Fella!! All my doors and windows are bespoke built for that garden room as depending on build I alway try to go as big as I can and getting off the shelf has never been an option when I'm building under the 'permitted building regs'. I get all my doors and windows from these guys if thats any help (if the Wickes ones are really that bad)
