I had fought Teostra in GU before meeting him in World, and if I didn’t have the meta armor I had when I met World Teostra, I would have been ever more terrified. And I loved it anyway.
Teostra's explosion attack has to be one of the best attacks, even if you have never seen the attack, you know something is going on and that you should really back up. Also dashing through the fire beam all 3 times in a row is very satisfying
When my friend and I fought against him and he did it the first time, I was running back from my first knockout, and my friend, who was still fighting, kept screaming while trying to run away. Lol I remember being bewildered and saying "Dude, what the hell? You're fine, what's going on-?" **More than half his health disappears and his screaming gets cut off** "...Oh. Never mind. Carry on."
I thought it's alright, but now I'm appreciating it more as I hear it a lot when farming him for decos lol. I love the tribal feel from the percussion instruments.
i felt like this one was very much the most difficult elder dragon fight. HOWEVER, it felt fair. I mean the part where it just explodes the entire arena is kinda bull but not too much. kushala daora is a nightmare
As a Greatsword main I absolutely love fighting Teostra because he fights like you do a lot of the time. He doesn't zip around like Odogaron or constantly fly, he'll stay on the ground, charge you down, batter you in one spot. It's a really fun fight of two powerhouse styles I hate Kushala, Kushala gets the Elderseal Longsword because I'm done with his shit.
For me it was the easiest of the 3, and still the easiest. While Val is hard only for the Efluvian (who can be easily countered), Kushala was the HARDEST the 1st time for me and even more on MR.
Ah Teostra. Fight, design, theme, he has everything going for him. Valstrax has that too, but I personally prefer the flame emperor over the rocket powered elder dragon

This is an issue I have with all of MHW remixes of the old monster themes, they add too many extra parts to already good songs. It's why I vastly prefer MH Rise's soundtrack, it just remasters the old game's soundtrack with real instruments. This one is too much.
