@@sirdookiepoopoofart i know but I’ve never got this many likes on any comment i made. But still i thank capcom for everything they did for world. I plan on getting a switch and getting generations ultimate and possibly rise.
Even tho its only been a year im already nostalgic for it.... I hope MH never dies, and im like 50 years old still remembering this truly beautiful game
This is my first monster hunter game, and even then I joined after the game stopped receiving updates. Sometimes I feel to new for this comment section
Oh my god man, I'm actually crying. I'm like having flashbacks to memoires from this game. My first wall (diablos), my pride in defeating a fucking great jagras, the out of body experience of slaying my favorite elder dragon's arch tempered form (Vaal Hazak), my journey into taking iceborne solo, and soon enough, my last stand.
diablos was scarier to me than nergigante, and now ive beaten fatalis, albeit with help from my fellow hunters. and now im close to beating sunbreak! i will return to world once i am finished with rise, and then i will await the next game
I started with World, and I loved it. I finished the game, and wanted more. So I bought Iceborne. Did everything there is to do in that. And I made a promise to myself. A promise that I would discover other games in the series. And so I did. And it was awesome. I played Freedom Unite on an emulator. Loved it! I bought a switch, and got Generations Ultimate. It's amazing! And now, I await the release of Rise. Cheers to many more years of Monster Hunter! Cheers to more memories, and more amazing games!
@EmeraldGaming I recommend 4U to you! I never beat it myself but I enjoyed every second of gameplay! It was my first game and it made me the hunter I am today!
Not going to lie, if Capcom had revived their MH MMO(I forget the name) right in the middle of the pandemic... they could have made LOTS of money of subscriptions.
And my Hammer as well. Till then I am of killing Fatalis a couple of more times. Apparently I didn't upload the correct MH:W/I save before switching from PS4 to PS5.
I'll fondly remember this as the "everyone is here" moment of MHW in the last trailer before Iceborne came out. When Velkhana opens its wing as the music turns quiet for a brief moment, that cut defines the word majestic.
Half an hour left for the "Final Stand" live, giant hype, listening to this song and in the anxiety of what turns,we reached the end, but it was an incredible adventure to live it
hearing this OST, the opening is like "You've managed to clear and walk away from all of the new world's challenges..." then the main verse comes in and saying "...and now it's time to run, faster, and better"
this song really is, in it's purest form, a love letter to Monster Hunter and everything that comes with it. it feels like the devs and the composer really are telling us that, truly, the honor was all theirs.
This music give me mixed feelings. The joy of being a nobody joining other people SOS or having them join mine, we just emote at each other sometimes and leave. At the same time i feel sad because I only ever gave this game a chance recently. Hoping to see you all at Wilds, hunters.
I've been wanting to play since the first game PS2 (about 13 years) because I don't have console, now I got to play MH game for the first time, I'm so happy I love this game, I love every details in the game, I can feel every staffs make this game with *passion*
Even to this day despite playing the hell out of mh rise, i still come back to this master piece of a game. Thank you capcom for making a hunter out of me!
Thts basically all of MH. Each gen u can come back to and replay as much as u want. Currently goin alllllll the way back to exp 1st gen and work my way back up to 4th gen. (started in 3rd gen)
I hope this plays in Arch Tempered Velkhana, would be so perfect for it. Arch tempered monsters are confirmed to return for Iceborne! Fingers crossed they use this! They didn't use it.. But the new version of Velkhana theme is godlike just the same.
Remind me when Arch Tempered Nergigante new theme song plays, that song gave me chills and i enjoy it. If Arch Tempered Velkhana is out oof gonna be 1 hell of a awesome fight.
Holy Crap...That Needs to Seriously Happen...i just wanna hear this damn Theme Song in a Intense challenging Fight in a Monster Hunter Game !!! :( Seriously tho AT Velkhana needs to happen with Velkhana having lots of new challenging Attack Moves along with This Theme Song as the Battle Theme Id be blessed if it actually happens. Edit : now that In the New Dairy they played this theme song in the montage section. I have more high hopes for this Theme Song for AT Velkhana Now... :D
Tomorrow Marks the day I finally buy iceborne, after finishing base game and finally getting paid after a delay because of the quarantine I can finally get it, I'm so hyped
if you played all of the base game content, you're pretty much set for iceborne. or grab the guardian armor set, it will carry you through at least half of the iceborne, and ofcourse if you wanna rush it to the end game.
As a 5th Fleeter, I never got to experience the thrills the others had. But I persevered through it all, from the lowly Great Jagras and Kulu-Ya-Ku, up to the mighty Safi'jiiva and dreaded Fatalis. I went back to the Old World when I purchased Generations Ultimate shortly after, and managed to see what it was like for the older Fleets; how it was before the New World. Now, I make my way to Kamura, to rise up. Thank you, Iceborne, and thank you Capcom, for making such amazing games.
Does anybody else just like to imagine just an all out, fully orchestrated battle that is just moving along as the beats of this triumphant music goes on? Or just a full on montage of monster showcases and battles that shift at the different tones of the song? It’s amazing what the mind can do when you give a person the right music to work with.
This was my very first monster hunter game, and one of the few games i fell in love with in a moments sight. It was recommended to me by a friend, who i sadly lost contact with. Now, after close to 1k hours, i got the yellow name, got everything fatalis related, and yet... i feel like i'm not even close to doing everything. Now, when i listen to this song, i remember all the triumphs, all the difficulties i had to overcome, and how i overcame them. I, to this day, remember how long soloing fatalis took me. And now i can do it regularly. Now... after such a long time playing one of the best games ever made, i can't stop thinking... No, capcom. The honour is all mine.
LIMITLESS STRENGTH UNLEASHED! Imagine fighting Arch Tempered Ruiner Nergigante with his Arch Tempered Fight Theme and then after you defeat him, he suddenly gets up after the 60 seconds that are given to you and then the real fight starts with this playing. WHAT A LIMITLESSLY STRONG WAY THAT WOULD BE TO CONCLUDE THIS SAGA BEFORE THE NEXT SAGA BEGINS!
This really makes me want to see all of the flagships, Nergigante & Velkhana in front running, from the ancient forest to the guiding lands, bringing along with them every monster and eventually running to the old world this song just feels like a "Go, hunt!" Thanks you for this, I'm proud to be a third fleet hunter. As for Capcom, take your time with the next world game, you can rest now.
While I was playing this one challenge where you fight *Stygian Zinogre* and *Ruiner Nergigante* with preset builds, I heared this song the first time. It is *so* epic! I really love this song!
No! The honor is all mine! I am the Hunter that breaks the unbreakable, I am the one who learns! I am the one drenched in blood, bile and grime! I am the Hunter, not the hunted! The honor is all mine, for I love it!
The Commander: Thank you for everything you did hunter. Me: Edit 1: Wow I didn't expect to get this many likes. Thank you fellow hunters for giving me this much praise.
Thank you Capcom... For one of the best games ever! Yes we reached the end. But the path we all walked until this moment is one we will never forget! And when Fatalis drops in 18 days we will be here! All together! Fighting this Black Dragon and making ourselves the honorable ending we all deserve! Who is with me!? Let's make this ending of an incredible journey honorable!
Hell yeah! We may have reached the final battle, but the journey we've endured has prepared us for this moment. Our jobs ain't done yet, we have a castle to raid.
Due to playing solo there’s a lot of important monsters I never killed, such as: Kulve Fatalis Safi Arch velkhana However, reaching MR 200 as full solo and slaying alatreon, arch namielle and both furious rajang and raging brachy(in 11 minutes) is probably be the hardest and most memorable achievement in all of my gaming life
Safi's health now scales down, but the siege mechanics don't. You could do it (I did), but it would take an extremely long amount of time to lower all the energy levels such that Safi can't heal himself to outlast the 20 minute timer. If you have a free afternoon and want to spend it all hunting Safi (probably using meta or near meta sets too), go for it. Additionally, if you disconnect for any reason, your progress gets reset.
Fatalis is significantly easier solo. You only have to worry about youself and you have much more control over the fight, aswell as being able to have 2 extra carts with Safeguard and the Revive from the max level vigorwasp palico gadget.
I only played through revently, but world is my first monster hunter and rapidly became one of my favorite games ever. I've never played anything like it. It's an incredible experience. And the feeling when you finally master your first weapon, when you know all its little gimmicks, all its animations and movements and timings, it feels incredible.
@@fluffyoverlord4008 Pride of a Nameless Hunter was used for The Best of the Best Challenge Quest in base World before the pigs quest was even a thing. So I think we'll get one like that, using Velkhana, Namielle and Ruiner Nergigante as the headers, using this song. It's only logical.
To all of us. I Will miss World... front the very first time I saw Jagras in a trailer with a friend after class to the day i Conquered Fatalis for the First Time. Remember you all... we are Monster Hunters!
@@GensaGGenethe director of iceborne already confirmed in a dev diary MR arch tempered monsters for the future. However, with the coronavirus as a factor, we may see them further down the road than anticipated.
I will never understand how people can dislike this game. Its a masterpiece with much love and care. And dont come whining to me bc of difficulty. You're supposed to hit many walls throughout your adventure and have to stop and think more than only once. You evolve. You get better gear. Your skills get more and more refined with every hunt. And at the end of your journey, a satisfaction you couldn't even dream to have will overflow you. Someday hopefully, you then find this game somewhere covered in dust, run it, get to that title screen after many years and remember, how blessed you were to have gotten such an awesome gaming experience.
The game definitely stumbles in a few places like some weird hit boxes, forced to watch cutscenes before multiplayer, and bad weapon balancing in a few places, but that doesn't stop it from being one of my favorite games of all time.
Unbalanced difficulty..., too easy in World to get new public, normal MH difficulty for Iceborn and many old monsters lacking some mechanics... I respect World hunters for their endurance..., I wouldn't pass a MH with the same disgusting bone weapon model...
Teaching a pair of rookie hunters the way of the fifth fleet has been a fantastic journey, for me and them. I look forward to the day when we challenge the Black Dragon!
I love the mix of “Stars at our backs” incorporated into this theme, it just gives that all around monster hunter feel and drives you to want to kill your next monster
Capcom you’ve done a lot for me, you’ve made me love this series with all my heart and made me play all but 2 of them made me skilled and allowed that skill to transfer over each generation to where I feel my hunter has moved on each time. Basically what I’m trying to say is thank you, thank you for everything and goodbye for now.
I hail from Moga Village where I chased down and slayed the Great Sea Dragon, as well as its Golden Elder. I faced off against the mountainous Symbol of Prosperity within the Great Desert and took its wealth as my own. I traveled to a new land, where I slew the infectious Black Eclipse, as well as vanquished Heaven's Wheel. I have dueled a Wielder of a Thousand Blades and triumphed, and defeated beasts more savage than any of their kin. I have toppled the Serpent King from his spear tipped throne atop the world, and taken his crown for myself. I moved on once more to face down the Fated Four, as well as deviants beyond one's imagination. I forced the Red Comet down from the Heavens to the Earth, and have single-handedly silenced those mighty Roars of Rage within the desert. And now, here in this New World, I have continued to make new achievements alongside my fellow hunters old and new! We have driven off the Scorching Mountain, killed the Ruin-Bringer and the Dragon of Dark Light! Driven off and slew both the Golden Dragon and the Red Dragon! Hunted down beasts of both Thundering and Explosive Rage! Faced off against the Black Dragons, and through time and hardship emerged from the ashes victorious! My fellow hunters, our time in the New World is soon to come to its conclusion, but do not fear! Veterans! Look back at how far you've come! Fivers! Look upon what you have achieved in such short time! Whatever we are to face in these new lands we shall face head-on, always pushing forward, and in the event we are to make a final stand, even if it be against a horde of monsters, we shall prove ourselves once again! So go forth, my brothers and sisters! Go forth so that we may hunt together once again! And for those who are unable to make the journey, do not sorrow. On behalf of all those moving forward, the honor has been ours! HAPPY HUNTING!!!!!!!!!

and it all started... in a single boat. A single hunter, entering the new world with only a hunting knife... To reach so far, with so few. Congratulations, hunter. You've done it.
After experiencing my first monster hunter, playing with friend and yes even the story, I will never forget this game that brought me into the franchise. The devs are the most caring people I have seen in any game along with the least toxic community. Hunters, may we reunite in the next monster hunter and start a new adventure.
Nah fam get a ROCKET POWERED GREATSWORD to smack him im the face, then set your clutch claw to auto fire, attach it to him, then send him right into a Fatalis's mouth.

All I have to say is.... Thank you Capocm.... and to all the hunters boys and girls OUR STRUGGLES, OUR FIGHTS, OUR WINS AND LOSE, WILL NOT BE FOROTTEN! SURE ICEBORNE IS ABOUT TO END BUT YOU MAY NEVER KNOW THAT A SEQUAL WILL COME OUT! SO STAY STRONG, STAY PROUD, AND AS ALWAYS.... HAPPY HUNTING!
Listen up hunters! October 1st is approaching which means, this is gonna be the last update for this game. As we come to make our final stand, let’s make it a memorable one. WE WILL BE THE SAPPHIRE STAR TO THE WORLD!
As a long time monhun fan I’m just gonna say it - this one rivals proof of a hero and if it played after the fatalis dragonator it would’ve felt exactly the same.

February 28th
My Charge Blade stands at the ready.
I'll fondly remember this as the "everyone is here" moment of MHW in the last trailer before Iceborne came out. When Velkhana opens its wing as the music turns quiet for a brief moment, that cut defines the word majestic.
Half an hour left for the "Final Stand" live, giant hype, listening to this song and in the anxiety of what turns,we reached the end, but it was an incredible adventure to live it
hearing this OST, the opening is like "You've managed to clear and walk away from all of the new world's challenges..."
then the main verse comes in and saying "...and now it's time to run, faster, and better"
this song really is, in it's purest form, a love letter to Monster Hunter and everything that comes with it. it feels like the devs and the composer really are telling us that, truly, the honor was all theirs.

Due to playing solo there’s a lot of important monsters I never killed, such as:
Kulve
Fatalis
Safi
Arch velkhana
However, reaching MR 200 as full solo and slaying alatreon, arch namielle and both furious rajang and raging brachy(in 11 minutes) is probably be the hardest and most memorable achievement in all of my gaming life
MR KT, Fatty, and AT Velk are definitely soloable. I think after the last update Safi can be solo'd too but I'm sure it's gonna be a huge slog.

This feels like a last stand of the few remaining hunters who still hold on to the game against time.

This is my "Snake Eater" song
