One day, Capcom are gonna integrate the World theme into a monster’s theme in a new game. The way they did with Tri’s theme when they brought Alatreon to World. And on that day, I’m gonna cry.
tri's main theme was always in alatreons theme though, even the version from tri has that part in it. Not saying I don't think it won't happen for other monsters, just pointing out that they didn't add something new to ala's theme, it was just remixed to fit modern monster hunter.
This soundtrack basically rings of "I'm home" in all MH die hard fan's hearts. Because I'm sure that's what everyone felt when they played MHW and listened to this track at the same time.
Tbh, that is how I like my story in my games. Straight to the point--they understand that the less time you're spent in cutscenes, the more time is spent farming monsters, and that is inherently fun as always. But this time the cutscenes actually meant something. Now don't get me wrong, I love the cutscenes and charm, but I do wish they had a Skip...
Love how the song sounds like a massive world has opened it's doors for us. and beyond that door, places to explore full of life and discoveries. a lot of monster hunter main theme screams adventure to me, and i love all of them.
They really put the "World" into monster hunter, past games have that aspect but not on the same level as MHW, looking forward to iceborne and happy hunting my friend :)
Honestly feels like a somewhat darker take on the theme of the Jurassic Park theme. Whereas that felt triumphant and upbeat and fun, this theme feels like an epic and glorious take on the concept.
FLYING THROUGH THE SKY, VAST OCEANS. ROAMING AROUND AN ISLAND IN BIRD'S EYE VIEW. RUNNING ALONG AND JUMPING THROUGH THE WOODS. SLIDING DOWN ICY SURFACES. LYING DOWN ON THE GRASS. EATING FOOD. FIGHTING WITH YOUR PALICO.
i got this game two months ago, i have over 200hrs in this game so i still consider myself a new hunter compared to everyone, but why this song made me cry, its not like i follow the franchise for ages, i started this series two months ago, so why dafuck am i crying?
Anyone else notice how it feels like you’re traveling through every area in Monster Hunter through this theme? The first quarter of it feels epic and luscious like the Ancient Forest The second is tense and harsh like the Wildspire Waste Third is pure beauty and calm like you’re in the Coral Highlands And the final fourth is both beauty and rigged like the Elder’s Recess This theme is really brilliant
So, the next generation of hunters arised and now its time to leave them the task of fighting the new monsters. It was nice and fun fighting along side all of you, hunters of the old world, but now these youngsters must take our place and learn everthing that we did all of those years ago. Having a job is such a time consuming task, and, sadly, I don't have enough time to play this games anymore. Let's hope that this new hunters have the best time that they can in our world.... the wonderfull world that is Monster Hunter. 2nd fleet out, let's return to home my dear palico, our task here is done.
Crap Felt a bit emotional reading this but...Next generation is in good hands you have my word may the sapphire star still guide you 3rd fleet on the hunt.
A little more then 2 years later.. i come back to this song to pay honor to a game thats ending.... but also to remember a game that gave me countless memories. I'm proud to be part of the 5th fleet
Bro why u say your proud to be a part of the 5th fleet bro i remember when the game drop that one night and I stayed up on a school night to make my charcter and 😭😭
Why sad face? It's good news for me because the devs now can work new game in the new engine so they can add more monsters to the game which can't in world due to the ground terrain's issue. With UE5 the characters model can interact with environment without load of work animations, I think devs can pull this off easily. In conclusion I can assume that we'll see new monster hunter in PS5 for sure (release PC later)
even after Sunbreak.. i still cant get the same feel and emotion i got when i played Iceborne.. its not like Rise Sunbreak is bad but World Iceborne just hit and feel so different that its hard to forget all the time i spend in it.. even now i holding back my tear listening to this..
yes.. definitely MH Iceborne hits really different compare to Sunbreak... I am yet in hundred hours in Sunbreak but MH Iceborne feels like it want me to come back xD
The issue with rise imo is that it doesn't really have a "story" most of it is just go kill big monster unga bunga. Mhw and iceborne gave you a drive for doing this with the whole elder crossing plot line and what not.
MH World/Iceborn are the best because we really have the feeling to live in a real ecosystem. We just need to wait for MH6 with their RE Engine developped for PC and I think, It will be crazy.
Haaa us Hunters are few yet large in numbers while we did have the past games the Monster Hunter name wasn't that well known until MHW. Anyways good to have you aboard if you need a Hunting Horn Main to guide you hit me up on either Xbox or PC(Keep in mind I don't have my actual built PC with me at the moment).
i tell for actually a decade to pepople that they have to play any monster hunter, very little portion attend me until this game, that lauch the saga for more people
Hunters from all around the world, the developers have concluded the game with its final Title Update broadcasted today. I would like to say, thank you Capcom for delivering such an amazing game and delivering amazing free content over the course of 2 years. I have made so many friends during my journey and had a memorable experience fighting monsters alongside randoms and friends. Happy hunting, hunters!
What if their's more??? New worlds, unexplored lands, new weapons, unraveling history and many more it's not just the World and Iceborne...But many more!
Rise is just on the horizon. MHW, you were my intro to the series, and my favorite so far. I would've never played Stories or Gen if not for you. Capcom, thank you for this game. From the bottom of my heart.
To all the hunters of the old world: Us fivers will be eternally grateful for all that you've done for us. The new world was perilous and full of adventure and excitement. Now watch us carry forward your legacy as we take the fight back to the old world, to the god of black dragons, Fatalis. It is not over yet, let us fivers go out in a blaze of glory! Gear up, master hunters of the new world!

This is my story. My dad bought me Monster Hunter World as a gift, he didn't know anything about it, I didn't know anything about it. He got it for me on launch day and I didn't even ask for it. He just wanted to buy me the latest triple a game. So I did play it. And I loved it. I stopped playing it after a a few months and my save file was left dormant. I'm only hearing of this now. I'm proud to be part of the 5th fleet.
As a second gen hunter, I have made my dynamic return in mhw. I am proud about this generations' hunters. They are great people and they are willing to help anyone at need. Back in the second generations game, it was a lot harder to find a helpful comrade. I am proud for you all. For you veterans that taught the newbies how to hunt. And for you fifth fleeters for fighting with glory and continuing our legacy. I am happy for what this game has become
Can we all just appreciate Rathalos and all he's done for the series? He is THE monster, THE legend. There is no other OG monster that is so iconic and has such a beautiful meaning and purpose than Rathalos. Edit: Thanks you guys for 100+ likes! I never got so many before. It's cool that my comment sparked an entire conversation. Edit 2: 9 months later and I come back to see 369 likes.... nice. TYSM
Nope. Never seen him that much as an OG even when I knew about the universe previously before I got in with World. He was the og only ever in the first Monster Hunter and after that, other flagship front liners started coming in. Nergigante has taken that throne from him since World since he was voted the best monster in Japan and possibly the World in 2018, beating rathalos limitlessly as well. Not to mention how majorly he has been involved in many important events in World. Monster Hunter: World brought in lots of major new people including me and Nergigante is now here representing Monster Hunter after getting resurrected to the new generation while standing in the front lines as the new flagship monster. The reality is that Nergigante is THE monster and THE legend now. The flagship monster has changed and anyone disagreeing with that is just in nostalgic denial.
@شخص عادى He came in Monster Hunter: World and took the throne from him. there have been many situations in life were another limitlessly strong man comes in and takes the throne from the previous limitlessly strong man as THE guy. Nergigante came in World and has had a major role in the important events in Monster Hunter: World while rathalos is just an average monster you fight to rank up. It's clearly obvious who the NEW flagship monster is and only someone driven by nostalgia will ignore that. Nergigante's important to the major events we have been a part of has been blatantly more than any of the previous flagship monsters and since he got voted the most popular monster in the year Monster Hunter: World came out in Japan and quite possibly the World too even by hardcore japanese hunters, confirms that people HAVE agreed him to be the new flagship monster now. He also got a collaboration with Street Fighter V which is a bigger thing than rathalos going in Super Smash Bros because Street Fighter is more popular and has a richer history.
@@vergil-magic Because he's been there since Monster Hunter 1. Now Nergigante has arrived and dethroned him. He's the "new" flagship monster of Monster Hunter now.
@@tankhonghong706 People are just in denial and nostalgia. Flagships change. Faces change and get replaced. WWE had Steve Austin, The Rock, Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. Now it's John Cena and Roman Reigns. Sometimes they stay and sometimes they change. Fortunately for Nergigante and unfortunately for rathalos, that is the reality. Monster Hunter: World represents a new generation of limitlessly strong hunters and Nergigante as the personification of limitless strength is standing in the front lines as the flagship of the Monster Hunter now. Nergigante IS the monster now.
This sounds like a song that’d play if the Fifth Fleet comes back to the Old World, and they’re welcomed back by the Guild with a hero’s honors and celebrations for everything they’ve done.
I think the great thing about Monster Hunter is the feeling of belonging in this paradoxical sort of way. The world is strange, primal, beautiful, and dangerous at the same time. In this world, are humans the predators, or the prey? The hunters blur that line and decide for themselves through their adventures, and its a feeling few games capture.
god i love this song. the way it swells in the beginning and explode into a a myriad of sound as it slows down, then it blasts its way into battle music. the way it smoothly transitions into a song of awe mystic, then it slows down to just the strings. and how it erupts back into the awe and beauty of the world. and then it finishes by mixing all these things a final piece, to be finished by rising trumpets. I'm couldn't be more thankful that i got 4U. it introduce me to a whole new world of fantastical beasts, lovable characters and a soundtrack that inspires me to do more than i ever thought i could. i truly hope that someday ill get to play all the games. Happy Hunting

God, I'm reading through the comments and they're all making me tear up. I never managed to beat World, and beating Stories 2 was still a bit recent I'm so glad that this community is so supportive. It doesn't matter when you start your hunting journey, and it doesn't matter when your journey ends. Because you are, and always will be, a fellow Hunter. And if not that, you're a Rider. And we can already tell that Hunters and Riders can get along. Veterans, Fifth Fleeters, Riders, everyone. Despite not knowing much, I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. Even if Monster Hunter dies, the community will live on, even if it's just in all our hearts. Never stop fighting. Keep going for your goal, no matter what it may be. And may the Sapphire Star light your way.

One of the best feelings in World was trading Guild Cards after helping some new Hunters out... Then updating your list of Guild Cards a few months later and seeing how much further in the game they are now. Here's to hoping I see some of those Hunters in Rise!
Same funny story i saw this game and thought to myslef looks fum, stopped playing for a few years cause the lagaitruas freaked me out bh3t then i played it and was amazed i am so glad i found about this game and happy to be a part of this community
Its been five years... This Monster Hunter is special. I loved freedom United, loved 3u, 4u and enjoyed rise but nothing will ever comes close to the feeling of discovering a whole new world in MH World. To all who travelled the new world. Cheers for you it was an amazing journey. Hope we meet again in World 2.
I've been playing this game for more than a year now, started on June last year. Soon after, I lost my job and I wasn't able to get a new one until this year. But along many things, this game kept me pushing through. And even though I joined long after its peak, it has kept me amazed by it, as well as made me fall in love again with multiplayer. I love playing Safi'jiiva siege and helping new hunters, or joining along experienced hunters and just steamroll the Red Dragon in one run. Thank you Monster Hunter, and thank you everyone.
The Sapphire Star The Fifth Fleet I love how the music has progressed and it changes as you "change the world" in the game All you can think of is "We made it, hurray fifth fleet!" Absolutely amazing music, beautiful, memorable and not just a simple "wow so amazing, wow so cool" It's actually extremely breathtaking
Once upon a time, a man with a dream thought _"You know what? I wanna create a game where you battle big monsters with other players."_ In 2004, Monster Hunter, one of Capcom's greatest title ever, was born.
Final Stand update aired 9 hours ago, I can't believe it got me this emotional hahaha MHWorld was the start of the 3rd and most significant era of Monster Hunter. And since I know the franchise is in good hands, I feel nothing but gratitude for what we've had, and excitement for what's to come!
About two years ago my best friend introduced me to this game. Two Christmases ago we both bought the DLC. Around this time last year we completed Iceborne. And now we both have Rise. I will never forget the memories I have made in this game. The feeling of awe when seeing the Ancient Forest, the wonder that came with the Coral Highlands. I will never forget grinding to create my favorite armor set, the Odagron. Iceborne, even more. The feeling after beating Raging Brachydios after two months... It was amazing. And now we get to do it all again, in Rise. Thank you Capcom for such a beautiful game. Monster Hunter will never die.
Welp we’ve done it fellow hunters. We’ve made it to The Final Stand. From the tall coral highlands to the rocky secluded valley. We all love monster hunter in one way or another. All I ask is that once this monster makes it to the new world, that we fight with our heart. This was really bad lmao I tried..
Yeah, we're at the end of this journey. But that doesn't mean the hunt will end! There's always another sunrise over the horizon when it comes to Monster Hunter. Until our next journey, Happy Hunting!
Came back here after beating Alatreon for the first time. Unfortunately, I discovered mhw like 4 months before it’s final update, which is a shame because this has become one of my favorite games of all time. But you know what, better late than never, and after reading up on monster hunter, I feel both excited and also way underprepared for fatalis. I’m glad to catch this last stretch of this game though, and I’m all more excited to end this journey with everyone else Edit: oops I meant the final developer diary update, my bad. Also meant that I wished that I could’ve played this game when it was released because I would’ve loved to have followed this game throughout its entire life 2nd edit: and now I’m back after beating fatalis. I’m at mr 120 or something, got my layered armor look that I’m proud of, and I’m proud of my custom armor set and build that I’ve made. There have been very few games that I have been willing to play at it’s hardest difficulty just because I like the game so much, and monster hunter world is now one of them. This has become one of my favorite games of all time and I’m really glad I was able to experience this last stretch of the game’s journey with everyone else
This game makes me eternally grateful, I bought it as my first monster hunter game after watching a funny review for it. Never did I expect it'd become one of my all time favorites, I played it start to finish, iceborne too, with rise finally on console I get to experience the other half of the 5th generation, I'm excited for console sunbreak, can't wait to beat it upside down and backwards. I'm happy to be a fiver, Whatever sixth gen may be or bring, I welcome it, to anyone reading after this, who joined in the sixth generation, welcome sixers, I hope you have a wonderful time in this world, and happy hunting
As a person who has played the series all the way back in MHFU, I've sunk so much time into MHWI and loved it so much. It's crazy to think this game is now 3 years old, and now looking back at the 1000's of hours Ive put into this game, I can proudly say that this was the best game of the generation. I have my issues with the game yes, but this was one of the best games Ive played that year and onward. I really do appreciate what the team at Capcom made here and hope that 2021 will be just as good for Monster Hunter as it was back in 2018.
3 years have passed. What a journey. Hey hey, nobody said it’s finished already! We will surely get a beautiful sequel for this gem of a game. It may have had its problems and its negative aspects, but it truly _changed_ the way we hunt. We can’t stop here. There’s a whole New World awaiting for us to be explored!
From the bumbling great jagras, to the god of all monsters fatalis, this game truly blew me away when I first got in in May of last year, 2019. Keep making great games capcom, and happy hunting everybody!
The hunt is never over! We may be moving on from our investigations in the New World right now, but there will always be new hunts to look forward to! Perhaps not right now, but certainly in the future!
I've been playing MH since the psp era. World was the game all fans dreamed of at that time because we knew the potential MH had and still has. Favourite franchise of all time :')
This song makes me genuinely happy! Out of the tons of games I have played, I always end up coming back to monster hunter and songs like this make me realize how much I love this game
This may be my first monster hunter game, but I can still see how much this franchise, and especially the fans, have grown. And this theme is just a reminder of how monumental this series has become. People truly underestimate the power of music.
Didn't say it before so I'll say it now, this sing at the end of the base game made it all feel like such an accomplishment as if I was really there and it felt great.
Words alone cannot express how much I love the MH franchise and its community, it’s been a part of my childhood as long as I can remember since the PSP days of Freedom Unite. To me, this song is proof that the devs gave Monster Hunter a soul and by Gog is it beautiful... May our paths cross again in Rise, hunters!

When Nergigante show up in MH8 after not appearing in a main series game for a decade, and this gets worked into his theme... Ahhh, too much nostalgia

@@AratakiBullPowerSiddo1 but rathalos never absent in any Monster Hunter

This has become one of my favorite games of all time and I’m really glad I was able to experience this last stretch of the game’s journey with everyone else
Same man, but with rise will be' a different, hopefully long, new journey

I'm happy to be a fiver, Whatever sixth gen may be or bring, I welcome it, to anyone reading after this, who joined in the sixth generation, welcome sixers, I hope you have a wonderful time in this world, and happy hunting
5 years. I can’t believe that its been five years since this masterpiece of a game has launched.
Now we have Monster Hunter Wilds Main theme!
Well a sequel would be Monster Hunter 6.
Oh wait rise exists
0:44からのサビがマジで鳥肌立つ、泣けてくるわ
No matter how many time i hear it. It always sound beautiful
From the bumbling great jagras, to the god of all monsters fatalis, this game truly blew me away when I first got in in May of last year, 2019. Keep making great games capcom, and happy hunting everybody!
i had to come listen to this after that development diary. the flash back at the end got me in my feels 🥺 i hope its not over.
The hunt is never over! We may be moving on from our investigations in the New World right now, but there will always be new hunts to look forward to! Perhaps not right now, but certainly in the future!
This is the last update. I'm sorry, but it has to be now.
@@Malick-ix9io he means that there will probably a new game (and it's pretty much confirmed that World will not be the last)
see you next 2yrs for MHW sequel... soon our return to new world will on quest again
My wife walked down the aisle to the beginning of this song and we walked out together to the rest of this song.
Cute
I've been playing MH since the psp era. World was the game all fans dreamed of at that time because we knew the potential MH had and still has. Favourite franchise of all time :')
1500 hours almost 3000 hunt with the hammer and the beginning of so many friendships... this theme makes me cry every time
Until Next time hunters! We will meet again in the future! Long live Monster Hunter World, Iceborne and the Whole Franchise!!
When i heard this song i just cried. I wish i just found mh earlier: (
This song makes me genuinely happy! Out of the tons of games I have played, I always end up coming back to monster hunter and songs like this make me realize how much I love this game
Bro hearing this at the end credits makes this journey feel like it’s the most accomplished thing you’ve ever done in your life
This may be my first monster hunter game, but I can still see how much this franchise, and especially the fans, have grown. And this theme is just a reminder of how monumental this series has become. People truly underestimate the power of music.
Didn't say it before so I'll say it now, this sing at the end of the base game made it all feel like such an accomplishment as if I was really there and it felt great.
good music...👍
Words alone cannot express how much I love the MH franchise and its community, it’s been a part of my childhood as long as I can remember since the PSP days of Freedom Unite.
To me, this song is proof that the devs gave Monster Hunter a soul and by Gog is it beautiful... May our paths cross again in Rise, hunters!
Five years have passed, but when I listen to this music, tears flow along with emotion.
Hunters from all over the world who can share this feeling, let's meet again in the next Monster Hunter world.
