Tears of the Wilds
YES YES YES YES YES YES
Rey dau is basically the anjanath in wilds. Not really that hard, but the first challenge for newer hunters, and has 1-2 one shot attacks if your armor is weak
He's stronger than Anjanath. Don't let the beta difficulty fool you. They only make flagships strong in (artificially, with time limit and shit).
@@UziGameGP Rey Dau objectively is not that hard. Most of its attacks don't do that much damage, and most of its attacks have slow windups so you know they are coming. Only the laser canons and the few slam attacks one shot, and even these are pretty easy to dodge.
waiting for a higher quality version of these tracks
It's confirmed, we need an Astalos and Rey Dau tag team fight
LET'S FUCKING GOOOOO
It also sounds like Shadow of the colossus in some parts, so it does give you the impression of fighting something unique and legendary
*Slamming charge blade into ground* " "and your a low rank? This games gonna be..... Wild "
It’s not low rank. The drops from all 4 monsters in the beta show that every monster here is high rank.
@@diseasedwombat5611 No way they're high rank. Those drops are probably beta only. Doshaguma and Chatacabra are some of the first monsters in the game, and Rey Dau is most likely the first apex.
The living rail gun
The static at the start of his theme is fantastic
I love how his theme fits his three roles.
Ruler of the plains (the big trumpets)
electricity dragon (the static, and fast paced chords)
and the tribal theme of wilds (the flute and vocals.)
though I do wish it had at least one moment where it became really dramatic like in a youtube rendition made before the theme was revealed. ruclips.net/video/dFoFLAPtdT4/видео.html (at around 1:50 in the song)
I do love all the small elements here though
I wonder how the quest progression is gonna be? I'm gonna guess we visit every area, bar azuz until high rank maybe. But I think we hunt all the smaller monsters first and then the apexes last
No doubt we've only seen 1% of the total monsters.
The real question Is ¿who Is better designed, the Astalos or Rey Dau?
Very hard for me to answer Astalos has a barrage of attack to try and stun you or paralyze while rey dau goes for one shots rail gun attacks
Rey dau slightly because his body parts do a bit more, namely with the horns conducting electricity
Both are good. Can't choose between the two
Is it a bird....is it a plane...is it a monster?! no it's a flying plastic wrap!
How did you rip it out of PS5? Mute everything else?
If that is the case bro is dedicated 😭
You’re able to mute all other sound effects besides OST
MH Wilds O-Ray-Gami Dau theme
I don't want to speak too soon because of recency bias, but Rey Dau might end up usurping Astalos as my favorite Flying Wyvern.
Thunder element Flying Wyverns just don't fucking miss I guess (granted, I can't fully speak on Toridcless or Berukyurosu since I haven't played Frontier, but they at least look cool)
Imagine if we get astalos in wilds, i would love to see my green rgb dragon return back. Rey dau is an amazing fight though and the way it uses its lightning like a railgun is just orgasmic. Not to mentoin this is one of my favorite themes across all monster hunters
@@derekjohn7535 I'd love if they had a turf war, but unfortunately I don't think they have any shared habitats.
Yeah, the music is very different for MH. It's so grandiose and I adore it
Taser Dragon goes Zap zap boom
WE NEED ANOTHER MONSTER HUNTER X FFXIV COLLAB 💯
