    Tech tip for those o ring cap plugs. Take a hammer and a brass punch and smack the plug. It’ll help prevent stripping out the hex plug. Thanks.

      How did it go on your RZT-S?
      I just bought 1 myself used (little over 200 hours) and am wondering if you should service the transmission

    Good video dude..i have an older zforce..had the caps on the transmissions that were like 4 inches long..kinda like a rubber hose sticking up with a plastic thread that got brittle from heat they both broke off..do you know if i can get new caps?..and where do they sell that fluid?

      Best bet is ebay. Gonin Google and type your full model number from the mower tag and then find the parts diagram and go by part number.

      Jack's small engines or parts tree usually has parts diagrams for everything.

      @@wilE6764 no problem! You may have to use the model number from the hydro itself tok hard saying.. Usually it will show it all on Jack's or parts tree. Hope that helps!

      My rzt50 uses 20w50 motor oil in the transmissions, 1.75qts

    So is that where the fluid should be, right at the top of the fill hole?

    • @LawnZip
      @LawnZip  2 месяца назад

      Close yes. It will run out of the overfill if it's over full.

    how often should the fluid be changed?

    • @LawnZip
      @LawnZip  10 месяцев назад

      I'm not sure since they are "unserviceable" but I'd say about 100 to 150 hrs.

    • @LawnZip
      @LawnZip  10 месяцев назад

      The first change should be the most important. Getting all the gunk and shavings out out from the break in period has to be good for it.
