Correct. Per HydroGear, its the exact same platform and internals. The difference between the 2800 and 3100 is that the 2800 includes the charge pump or a shock valve, but not both. 3100 includes both which is why its approved for commercial applications.
Hey man I love your videos but the zt-3100 is the entry level commercial and it does have an external filter (underneath) and is serviceable. I couldn’t tell if you were just using it as an example of like the zt-2100 or if you were mistaken. Still, great video though!
I’ve been wanting to make this video for a couple of years, but I never really wanted to crawl under different mowers to demonstrate what I was talking about. At the GIE, they had this display and I was able to show without obstructions, the features and size differences. I am aware of the lineup of their models, but they didn’t have the residual models on this display. The round about size differences and and features with the higher numbers should still (hopefully) give a good representation of what I was wanting to portray. Thanks for the comment!

Good explanation. I guess that’s why my Toro 75750 can’t hold inclines / grades or has difficulty steering after getting over heated. Happened again last week cutting when temperatures was about 48 degrees outside. Frustrating. My first zero turn and love the cut quality and power of the 23 horsepower Kawasaki
My ferris has the zt 3400 hydro gear and it has a spin on filter on both wheels you should know what your talking about if you are going to do a video on a product
does that mean i could buy a. ezt 2200 and it would fit my mower as i have a 15 yr old john deere zero turn they dont make exact transmission for , but the 2200 looks fairly close except the parking break is on the rear of unit as opposed to front on mine

Not the best info. Other than looking at it. They all have filters just on different locations, looking at the fan doesn't really show how it cools, its the amount of fluid and you didn't talk about weight difference or speed or anything. I get your doing a visizual video but really no info

The ZT 3400 is commercial and has a filter on each one. And you can service the filter and oil. Mine is a 48 inch deck.

I have the zt3100 and it has filters on it.
Mine does too. On the wheel side. Just changed fluid yesterday.
My cheetah has 5400 hydros and my Ferris isx2200 runs the 4400’s.
Do not listen to this man. He is giving out a lot of incorrect information. For starters they aren’t motors. They are hydrostatic transaxles.
All of them is commercial transmissions
