Bong srey.. how much salt, dried shrimps, and fish sauce? I didnt see you add it in... or im trippin? Whats the sour soup base? Is that tamarind powder? Thanks
Thank you for this yummy recipe! This is a fav of mine. I wanted to see what’s the fish powder name is, I wanted to see if it’s found in my local Asian store. Could you reply?
Hiii 🙋🏻♀️ I’m looking at the jar and it just says Fish Powder, but I googled “Thai fish powder” and it pops up. Amazon actually has it. Thank you for watching! After I made this recipe I realized using fatty ground pork or pork belly will make it way more delicious. I hope your local Asian market carries it. Happy cooking! 🤗
Does your prohok has fish bone? Recently I made it with the prohok that I bought I did know that it has fish bone in it so I so after I eat that day i decided to throw it away.
Hi Jannie! finally I make it today! Thank you so much, it is exactly what i craved for!

Is there another name for this dish? I think my family calls it "KA-PEEP-POW"??
Two different dips. Kapeek Pao doesn’t have meat in it.

I buy the one without bones but if you get the ones with bones you just need to use a strainer.
@red canon buy the one that says cream
