The tactility of the Jelly Blues is odd, it sort of reminds me of how MX Blues feel, like how there’s a very sharp tactile bump when the click jacket moves down and how you feel another bump on the way up when the click jacket moves back into place. Also the stems are weird, they have two notches on them.

The amount of effort and time it takes to make a great quality video like this is crazy , favorite tech reviewer most definitely keep it pushin bro u tha goat💯
Great video comparison. You've really steered me away from Gats and into Akkos. I found it interesting when you said that the Jelly Blacks have more give when initially pressed and become harder as they go down, vs something like the Reds or Matchas, which are harder from the get go. I'm wondering if this means that keypress is registered more easily (with less force needed) on the Jelly Blacks than the other two. Ie would it be easier to mis-press a key with the JBs vs the other two? Thanks again!
I agree with others, the production value here is insane, considering its "just" for a switch video. I appreciate it though. I just found out about Akko the other day and am obsessing over them. Subbed!

So, I’ve tried 4 Akko linear switches so far. Radiant red, Rose red, Jelly black and Silver. Rose red is my least favourite. It feels heavy and mushy. Silver is probably my favourite so far. Light, smooth and snappy. Jelly black is good too. It feels a bit heavier, but still snappy and not mushy. It feels full and solid. It sounds deeper too. I’m not sure about Radiant red. It’s not as snappy. Feels a bit mushy. It has a higher pitch compared to Jelly black and Silver. It’s still OK. In the end, Lavender purple is still my favourite. 😄 It’s the 1st switch I got and yet to find a switch that I like better. I haven’t tried other Akko tactile switches though.

Which one are the ones most silent ? I'm not looking for particularly silent variants, but just wanted to know which one was the most silent of all the Akko choices?
My boyfriend bought me lavender purples for Christmas last year, still have yet to lube them but I absolutely LOVE them over the gateron blues that originally came in my board 😬
I've come from the future and have bought the Jelly purples. The stock Gateron browns made me realize tactiles may be more my thing and I love that Akkos are easy on the budget. The purples sound pretty deep without lube so far they are my favorite switches!
I actually wanted to get Epsilon switches.. but when I saw your video, I just go for the Jelly Blacks.. Thanks for helping me with this budget price range
The sound is literarily the least important thing yet thats what 90% of all reviews focus on. Instead of measuring words per minute, or response time when gaming or something that actually matters. But no instead its a sound comparison that doesnt matter because everyone listens with different speakers or headphones, and records with different microphone and not inside an audio studio. So the sound will bounce around the whole room. Speaking of which most of us would wear headphones (especially when gaming) and in that case we don't even hear the keyboard anyways. Nice to see that you focused on feeling and smoothness/resistance :)
Would you say they ARE THE SMOOTHEST. IS THE SMOOTHNESS INSANE????? Lol this guy. Walked straight out of a marketing class. Thanks for the sponsored Akko ad man.
Really dissapointed that the community is so obsessed with tHoCk and judges a switch of how they sound over the smoothness and feel (especially long pole switches). Sound comes down mostly to the case and keycap pofile, If you really wanted that deep sound, get some SA keycaps; or mod your board.
The fact you are disappointed in people having subjective preferences different than your own is idiotic. And I say that as someone with thocky and smooth gateron oil kings. Just so you know I'm not saying this because I was the butt of your comment. Especially since SA keycaps cost $80 a set under the best circumstances. Also people already know that the sound profile of a board is affected by a plethora of variables so your insinuation that people aren't aware of that fact isn't even accurate. TLDR: Get over yourself
Thank you so much for this video. Im a long time corsair cherry red switch user and am switching (no pun intended) over to akko but needed a thorough review of all the switches. Very good review, thanks!!
What Akko tactile are the best in your opinion by sound and tactility among these: Jelly Blue Lavender Purple Sponge Jelly Purple Cream Blue TTC Bluish White ?
Not sure if single key sound tests are good for reference, just tried jelly blacks and they sound cheap to mediocre straight outta the box, but they are indeed very smooth. Your keyboard may need to be heavily modded to make these sound good.

I love the fact that you get straight to the point
What’s the best for both typing and gaming?
I’m looking into the deep and smooth side.
I've come from the future and have bought the Jelly purples. The stock Gateron browns made me realize tactiles may be more my thing and I love that Akkos are easy on the budget. The purples sound pretty deep without lube so far they are my favorite switches!
I’ve heard good things about both the Radiant Reds and the Silvers. Which one do you prefer in terms of sound and feel?
Or even the Jelly Blacks?
FINALLY!! The video I'm waiting for so long!! Appreciate it man🖤
Haha was literally just looking up this for my custom keyboard build thanks! Can always count on you dude
Glad I could help!
I actually wanted to get Epsilon switches.. but when I saw your video, I just go for the Jelly Blacks.. Thanks for helping me with this budget price range

Been looking for this type of video for so long. Thank you very much for the very informative and very well made comparison guide/video. More power!
I was trying to figure out what akko switch to get. This is the most super helpful video ever
I'm rocking lavander purple, and i don't have any regrets buying it.
If you are too lazy to lube like me, I totally recommend. I personally have radiant reds and they sound as good as they do in the vid
Great rundown on all these amazing Akkos. Just got my Akko switch tester which is a must have I feel!
Where did you get the Akko switch tester?
Yo! The production quality in this vid is just a whole other level xD
Why do you not recommend bag lubing the akko switches? 11:28
I have the same question!
The video production quality is amazing!! 5 stars, dude!
been waiting for someone to do this was looking for cheap switches to mod my keyboard and akko seem a great choice
10:01 jelly blacks
10:08 matcha
14:52 ocean blue
14:54 lavender
14:56 jelly blue
Thanks man I just bought mine today - I got the silver and black switches!
This is how reviews should be done, thank you so much!
Between the black, silver and pink - all stock, which would you recommend is the best?? Thank you
Thank you so much for this video. Im a long time corsair cherry red switch user and am switching (no pun intended) over to akko but needed a thorough review of all the switches. Very good review, thanks!!
which switch did you go with?
10:19 jelly blacks lubed
10:25 matcha lubed
What Akko tactile are the best in your opinion by sound and tactility among these:
Jelly Blue
Lavender Purple
Sponge
Jelly Purple
Cream Blue
TTC Bluish White
?
The ocean blues are currently in my main board and I love them
Thank you for doing this :) I was about to make my first custom keeb with akko switches, helps me a ton!
Not sure if single key sound tests are good for reference, just tried jelly blacks and they sound cheap to mediocre straight outta the box, but they are indeed very smooth. Your keyboard may need to be heavily modded to make these sound good.
YES! Been waiting for someone to do this comparison. Subbed!
I’m more of a linear guy but I’m choosing between the lavender purples and silvers I’m getting the rk84 in a week and was deciding what switch to you perfect video I’ve decided on the jelly blacks
i came from romer G switches and built my first custom Maxfit61 by Fantech, i got it in reds and felt the reds where too light, i got lavender purples, spent the time to lube them properly and oh my lawd the keyboard sounds incredible and feels like your breaking little glass vials with each press, its feels so nice to feel the switches click through
Are you going to do an updated Akko tactile switch best of? I think they have +10 tactile switches now. 3 or 4 blue, 3 or 4 Purple, the POM Brown, Wine White, and CS Sponge.
Which Akko switch is the most quiet?
I love the jelly white. It doesn't stresses my fingers and the sound, I love it.
Why didn't you review the akko cs jelly purple switch or the akko cs sakura switch?
which one is the thockiest/creamiest in your opinion? thank you!
