  • Campground electrical connections don’t always match your RV’s electrical system. When you travel and camp at different destinations in your RV, the day will come when you need an RV adapter plug or RV adapter cord (dog bone) to make the electrical connection. In this RV 101 video Mark Polk shows you everything you need to know about RV electrical adapter plugs and RV adapter cords.

    This helps me with learning how to connect my 120v welder to the NEMA TT-30amp outlet on my 4000/3500 watts generator instead of the 120v 20amp outlet, thanks 👍

    That's great information there's also a plug that connects not one but two 15 amp plugs to a 30 amp outlet hence giving you 30 amps parallel being safer and running your cord and reducing the possibility of overheating that's one plug you're missing there

    Wow, you sure have bunch of adapters! Am I going to need all of those kinds of adapters for my 30 amp camper!?👍🏼☮️

    I'm plugged into my brother's house with a 30amp to 15amp adapter. I don't use the roof ac (it doesn't work anyway- it's old) i have a portable ac that works just fine.

    I have an event trailer that has a (4 prong) 30amp/240v power cable..and i will be plugging into a 50amp 240v outlet (that is in the building). Can I use a 10gauge power cord that has a 30amp plug on my side of the cord, and has a 50amp plug on theirs? Or is there something special in that adapter cord that makes it work?

    What can I use to connect my 50 amp plug to two 30 amp outlets to get my 50 amp back they’re only 30 amp pedestals here?

    • @blake4844
      @blake4844 3 года назад

      Paralleling 240 outlets If the two 30 amp outlets aren't wired exactly the same you'd have an instant fire in your hands when you plugged in the splitter. You don't run Parallels off outlets for this reason.
