a question what temperature do you have in the games? like battlefield v or 2042?

Usually less than 70C in most of the CPU heavy games like Marvel Avengers and the like. Battlefield V temperature reaches an average of 60C only.

What is your room temp? Mine ranges from 24-26degC. PWM fan curves plays a great role in managing ventilation . So fans will ramp up when needed. I keep my settings at 30/60/80 rule for CPU, GPU, intake and exhaust fans. When at 80deC, fans should already be at 100% speed. I am using Noctua for all my intake and exhaust fans. They are quiet and moves great volume and pressure.

@@tweakmixbuilds my room temp is around 31-33 degc. And i have 3 140mm fans, 1 exhaust and 2 intake by the way i have a huge case, corsair 760t.

@@KebongPHL Are all those 140mm fans PWM? There are many factors that can affect the temperature of your cpu (12700K). And one of those is your ambient temp ranging from 31-33degC. If the 83degC reading you are getting is only because you are benchmarking an overclocked 12700K, then it is just normal. If you might already know that this particular cpu (12700K) has a Tjunction temp of 100degC max before it will eventually shut itself down. But if you are getting the 83degC reading on normal gaming - even though you overclocked your 12700K, you should not be reaching the 87degC mark if as you mentioned initially that you are using the same setup with the Noctua NHU12A (with dual fans) air cooler. IF this is so, then try re-pasting it and/or try the 30C:30% / 60C:60% / 80C:100% PWM fan curve setting first.
I am using the NZXT H510 Flow case. Your casing is already good to provide you ample ventilation.
