@@spirit7792 what is your cpu and memory modules speed (mhz) and class latency? Make sure your BIOS is updated to the correct motherboard model. You can get it from ASUS TUF website in the support section of your motherboard model. Try to "Load Optimized Defaults" found in your "Exit" BIOS tab. Then enable your XMP1. Do not disable your turbo boost. I do not advise that for gaming purposes. Because your cpu will then just default to the maximum speed of your lowest core. It will mostly keep it to base speed. Save, reboot and then try gaming. Let me know.

How do you change the frequency to 5000 MHz mine still says 3700Mhz and it can reach 5100Mhz
Hi there. You may follow my instructions from here. ruclips.net/video/sI08bLtxtC4/видео.html . Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe and watch more of my videos. More to come out soon.
Im having troube with my asus B760m plus wifi 2. Intel i714700k, 240 corsair cooler. My intel tuning software has my ratios and core voltages greyed out. When put through any streas test, it thermal throttles and hits 100% or close to it. If i start tweaking it, it seems like it starts to bottleneck the e cores at 75%, and my cinebench comes in very low. Any recommendations for this setup? The bios are identical
Please upgrade to BIOS Version 1658. Then try the "Optimal" BIOS settings first. Then use the benchmark results as your baseline. Then try your settings afterwards. Then compare results from the optimal settings baseline results. The adjust as needed - to your preference and stable system.
And also I think the B760 chipset does not support overclocking. That's why your Intel tuning software features are greyed-out. You need a motherboard with a "Z" prefix on the chipset. Like Z790...
I have the same setup except for ddr5 ram and i have a 3070, with the most recent bios i am wondering if you have any details on how to undervolt the 12700k for better cooling performance while maintaining 5.0ghz or as close to those clock speeds as possible. Thanks.
Since I cannot see your BIOS from here. And it depends system per system, for safety reasons of your PC investment, I suggest forn you to try downloading Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel XTU) tool directly from Intel. Just choose the correct operating system when download it. Install it and go to the undervolt section of the tool. Gradually lower down voltage. And perform the stability tests provided in the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel XTU) tool itself. Check and monitor your system stats (like temp and frequency) choose the most stable undervolt setting best for your cpu cooler as well. When you reach your desired setting, save it and reboot your system. You should be good by then. For best CPU temps even without undervolting... you can try some of the best AIOs or air coolers in your country/area. In my experience, 12700k are pretty much the best i7 perfomers at an easy to manage cooling and cpu cooler fan curve settings. In my 12700k setup, I use a dual air-cooler tower Noctua NH-D15. At an ambient of 24C in the room, I can get 35C low - 75C highest from idle to playing triple-A games.

Hi there. Do you notice any unusual temperature increase in either you CPU or GPU when every time your FPS drops significantly (about 60 FPS you mentioned)? And what (capacity) power supply do you use?
Where are the voltage controls in this bios? Im looking to undervolt my 12900k and cant find the CPU core voltage settings.
What is your motherboard?
@@tweakmixbuilds hey im looking to undervolt my i7 13700k, im using asus prime z790, but i have no clue what to change in bios settings

hi @haithamyaldoqu3722 Valorant is a CPU bound game. If your CPU overheats while gaming, try to check the following. Any of these might help you resolve your overheating CPU: 1. Try checking your AIO or CPU air cooler's functionality, if everything is good. Clean if needed. Check your CPU cooler fans for any abnormal/unusual sound squeaking, might need replacement. 2. Check you AIO or CPU air cooler's fan curve. You might need to adjust to a more aggressive curve, like 100% (fan speed) on 75 or 80C CPU temperature. 3. Clean and replace CPU thermal paste, then re-seat your AIO or CPU air cooler. Let me know.
Sounds like he needs to under volt his CPU and he's forcing his PC on performance he doesn't have on PC if your getting blue screens even on low settings you definitely have old components I would suggest a PC reset and fresh windows install make sure your not just switching on all types of settings you have no clue about
Followed these settings and the biggest thing was seeing an improvement in my cpuz test but the temp does spike for like 1 second to 91 degrees, so may turn off the thermal limit on MCE as well but i dont think games will reach that anyway, only a benchmark
What CPU and CPU cooler are you using?

I have i7 11700kf and asus tuf b550 plus wifi should i still do this
I think the Asus TUF B550 Plus WiFi is for AMD processors. So if this correct, then my answer is "no". Because you'll need a Ryzen AM4 cpu for that motherboard.
Hi I have the same motherboard and my CPU tanks at 4.5mhz instead of 4.9mhz(advertised turbo p core speed) on my i5 12600k idk why...do you maybe know how to fix this?
Make sure that your BIOS has the most recent update. Go to your BIOS setting. Set to "optimal settings". Set your RAM to XMP1. And "Disable" (if you are not planning to overclock your cpu) Asus Multicore Enhancement. Save BIOS and restart your PC. Check again if your CPU can already reach up to 4.9mhz or higher by using any of your CPU benchmarking software you have.
I have the same components as you, but a little higher 64GB, i7-11700K and Asus Strix Rog Z590-F, do you 100% recommend configuring the bios?
Yes. You should! To maximize your rig's potential. I have another gaming PC that is very similar to yours. Refer to my RUclips video link: ruclips.net/video/3HGooHfRT3M/видео.htmlsi=PBXU_1TLr6cDm-DH. I did a stability test after BIOS setting. First you need to update your BIOS ( rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-z590-f-gaming-wifi-model/helpdesk_bios/ ) if you haven't yet. Just make sure that you have a good cooler. Your ROG-Z590 mobo should show you a cooler rating high enough good enough to overclock your cpu. You need a good cooling system as well. As the 11700k is quite hot in the temp department. Have fun!
Hi! I have i7 12700K and a Motherboard Z790-P D4. I do this overclock?
@@snowzerazk My suggestion is, Yes! So that you an maximize your cost to performance experience. But do take note that before overclocking, please make sure you have considered all these in your rig: good airflow (intake and exhaust), good cpu cooling (AIO, custom water cooling or rated air cooler) and good rated power supply [PSU] (for you to have ample power based on total wattage of CPU, GPU and your entire system. a bronze rating is already goo. But Gold is definitely better). For stable power CPU power, please make sure to plug all motherboard ATX CPU power cords (usually located at the upper left of the motherboard near the heat spreaders) supplied by your PSU. Have fun and enjoy!
@@tweakmixbuildsHey do you know what setting it would be to limit my wattage? Im trying to stay under 220w with this CPU and if I get a 14900k I would like to know because I have the exact same motherboard. Thanks for the video.
@@whitebeltbjj3739 , hi there! There are several ways to do it. You might want to try this one first: Download (from Intel website) and install Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU). Go to "Advance Tuning" tab. Look for "Turbo Boost Max" and "Turbo Boost Short Power Max" settings. Set those to your desired wattage limit (like 220W). Then apply settings. And use your computer with that setting. Make sure to monitor temperatures and test stability (you can use Cinebench, AIDA64, Prime95, etc.). Let me know! Thanks. And favor please to help me continue this: like and subscribe. Thanks again!
Спасибо. Вполне подробное объяснение. Теперь буду разбираться с моей платой на DDR5.
Thank you for watching.
i have the same setup, except an ASUS mobo. in the System Agent CPU settings, do you recommend manually setting m.2 and PCIEx15(g5) link speeds to Gen4 for ssd and Gen5 for GPU? to force the GPU to be run off the CPU's PCIE 5.0 x 16 slot? ive always been confused about this . i feel like Auto would use the chipset lanes
You may change it to what Gen your M.2 SSD or GPU specifies. But you may also leave it on Auto. No performance issue either way. The lesser your auto settings are, the faster you BIOS will load. But if you are unsure, leave it on auto.
hello mate, which fan did you put next to the ram? because mine is too big and i cant close my case. thanks a lot
Hi there. I put the Noctua's NF-A12x25 PWM fan. It's only 120mm so it will fit. And the maximum 2,000rpm of it can really push in more sufficient air. Though in actual gaming (overclocked cpu setting), PWM only pushes 50-75% of its speed because the other fan helps to push more air out as well.
Hello. Im new in overlock. And usually i use Auto Oc, fortunately Asus Motherboard have auto Oc1 And Oc2 profile. Sow with Oc2 i have something 4.9 ghz. But then i go to Au tweaker /thermal velocity boost. And i find option Enhanced tvb or Overlocking tvb and there are 1+boost profile and 2+ boost. Sow i try and he just up my Overclock speed. My cpu now on 5.0 ghz. With that option. Can you please tell me what that option do and itsnok if i use it after auto oc2?
Hi! The TVB boost profile will just add voltage to your CPU and eventually heat it up some more with just a little gain. I suggest, if you're new to overclocking, first you have to figure out first why you will do overclocking. Or if there is a need for you to do so. Now if you have figured-out what you would want to achieve in overclocking, I would suggest for you to research more on undervolting your cpu instead. For OC1 and OC2 tuning profiles, I suggest you use OC1 if you are using an air cooler. And OC2 if you're using an AIO/watercooling. Conduct benchmarks with available softwares online like Cinebench, Prime95, etc. Record and compare results while you change settings. So you would know your best and stable settings that suits your computing or gaming requirement. Keep safe and have fun!

Is the fan to the right pulling air to the left? Or pulling it out to the right ?
The fan to the right is pulling air to the left. All the vertical fans in my rig are pulling right to left. All my horizontal fans are pulling upwards. You might want to checkout my video pertaining to airflow. ruclips.net/video/x5ufqOzzH8U/видео.html

@@TheOneGhost12 15% drop on idle and 10% on OC game mode.
@@tweakmixbuilds so if it was 75 c it would drop it 7.5??? Are you sure
@@TheOneGhost12 Based from my experience, yes. And you can see in my rig in this video that it did not even reach past 63C on overclock mode while running Cinebench. Something to note though that my main cooling system here are Noctua Fans. There are high push/pull of air happening in the system. And my ambient room temp here is at around 23/24C around the time that this test was performed. For there are many things that can affect the cpu cooling. Like what thermal paste you use and your PWM settings as well - that can affect greatly as well.
How is the X2 120mm bottom fans underneath the GPU helping if the PSU is housed in there? Won't they be pulling hot air coming from the PSU up to the GPU?
Nope. The PSU gets air intake from the bottom of the case and blows the heat out directly through its rear perforations.

According to Noctua’s Standardised Performance Rating (NSPR) the rating of NH-U12A for an R7 5700X is at 169. Which means that you'll have best turbo/overclocking headroom. But depending on you ambient temp, you'll expect a little higher than your current 65C on max compared with your current AIO. But it will definitely hold with good thermal paste application and PWM fan curve settings. Best for you to get Noctua's NH-D15 (dual) instead for more heat dissipation for your cpu. You'll just need to check your motherboard and case compatibility for it if in case you'll decide for this beast an air-cooler. A good investment and super quiet.
Is there anyway you could make a guide for this setup. I also have the i7-12700k with the same cpu cooler and asus tuf z690 plus wifi d4 board with ddr4 3600 paired with a 7900 xtx and my cpu is a big choke point. I just got this setup and don’t want to upgrade it yet and I’ve been reading and still getting confused because no one has the same setup as me. I’d even send you some money on whatever lmao.
Sure. Your current hardware setup is closest to my current rig. I can help you with that. We just need to start from your BIOS. Let me know if you have a discord account. It can be limited here in the chats. And my video can take some time to upload.
I might be of help here: ruclips.net/video/sI08bLtxtC4/видео.html
How much of an improvement did you see by adding the third fan? I have the same cpu and cooler
It helped to lessen 3C more while cpu is overclocked running in games. I wouldn't recommend the investment and effort in installing a 3rd fan if your cpu is running on stock settings. And you'll need better intake ventilation more by doing so.
How do you get all the hardware info on that little screen?! Big interested in how you achieved that :)
I custom-designed AIDA64 Extreme's sensor panel and send it to that small HD screen to display.
Thanks for the response! :)
@@tweakmixbuilds Would you mind telling me what kind of monitor that is?
@@234Musician Sure! It is a 5-inch HD Capacitive Display screen by Daewoo. It can be other brands too. But my suggestion is to get the one with HDMI input(from GPU as 2nd monitor or so) and USB-powered that you can plug to your PC. So it only powers up when your PC is ON.
settings my g?
So sorry. Didn't quite understand what you're asking? Please let me know. Maybe I can help. Thanks.
I was asking for your BIOS settings to hit these numbers. @@tweakmixbuilds

Cold!!!
Yeah. These Noctua fans and cpu air cooler are really doing a great job in my rig!
Yo, what "mini" display is it under your Main monitor? :D
It is a 5-inch HD Capacitive display(800x400 reso) I use as my hardware stats monitor.
@@tweakmixbuilds what software you using to monitor?
@@haies09 I'm using AIDA64 Extreme. Please like and subscribe to support my channel. So that I can upload more good and helpful stuff. Thank you!
Think it’s good with i7-12700kf?
Yes! Noctua themselves rated the NH-U12A 169 NSPR. Which is aside from their NH-D15, also has the best turbo/overclocking headroom. In my experience, it is a good cooler for the i7-12700KF. Just keep your ambient to at least 24C or lower when overclocking. House it in a good or best airflow case possible with efficient/reliable fans and you are good!
@@tweakmixbuilds ok thank you very much I actually didn't plan to overclock it will only be used for gaming

@@tweakmixbuilds Hi. What motherboard do you have? They say this cooler is not compatible with Asus rog strix z690.
@@MrOvyB Hi! In this video, I was using an ASUS TUF Gaming B660M-Plus WIFI D4. Only the ASUS ROG Strix Z690-G Gaming WIFI D4 and the ASUS ROG Strix Z690-G Gaming WiFi are compatible with Noctua's NH-U12A (at least in ROG Strix' Z690 motherboards), due to the other ROG Strix Z690 model's VRM heatsink design that is causing the heatpipes of NH-U12A to touch the VRM heatsink. So the NH-U12A will not fit and sit properly on the cpu. I highly discourage forcing it to fit. Installation turned by 90° (blowing towards the top of the case) in some Strix Z690 models are possible. But I wouldn't recommend it.
Try a fan between the heatpipes.
Yes, I did. Check out my video with that configuration ruclips.net/video/lscBETrL-jc/видео.html
Sick rig
Thank you!
almost the same setup except RAM its 4600 and i got 22580 on stock clocks with 170W. Isnt look very overclocked.
The RAM can do a slight bump in the clocks on-stock. How did your system score when you overclock it using Extreme OC in Asus TUF Z690-Plus WIFI D4's BIOS? What temps did you get running the Intel 12700K on Noctua's NH-D15 cooler? I overclocked mine up to 36% stable frequency having the cpu temps not to exceed 95C in a 28C room temp. But I'm sure I can bench it higher if I crank my AC up (coldest possible).
@@tweakmixbuilds Extreme OC was 4.9Ghz and 3.9Ghz (not really sure). 23569 overclocked and 22580 on stock. And the temps... with undervolt, on stock, with installed 12th gen frame and D15 i ive got something like 74-80C. Without undervolt and frame i ve got 90-100 on full load. And the overclocked temp of Extreme OC is 95C on pretty same room temp, with a little unestabilished undervolt. With more than 5ghz system is unstable, but when it's stable, it's totally out of the TDP 200W and 100C is hit pretty fast, only AIO may help further.
@@yaneemdetey Woah! Those temps are pretty steep! But results are impressive! Thanks for sharing!
@@tweakmixbuilds it's you thanks for making video, as searching information about avegare build is a good reference point to understand if my build is okay :) I still searching for optimal profile, but per-core overclock is looks too complex for me. And obviously, 1.3V on this motherboard is excessive and it leads to insane temp. Also 12th gen frame is a must. Maybe delid is also an option but i am scaried chicken to do it myself lol
@@yaneemdetey You're most welcome! I might also do more benching with this 12700K. Since I just completed my "Project H7".
