I love dapper dan or reuzel pomade, usually use medium hold or a high shine depending on how active im going to be that day. An dan smells amazing like a nice citrus
As an asian teenager who's trying to master this hairstyle every morning under 15 minutes, is it necessary to use all three of these hair products? Is there simply a pomade or one product that gets the effect, or two? Buying three seems like a lot for me. Also, what's a pomade that you recommend that's safe to use? I've heard Murray's Black Beeswax contains fragrance which can be harmful
If you have a straight hair, try a high shine with firm hold pomades. If you have a wavy hair, you'll need something that will tame it . I do have a wavy hair and mix two pomades, one is a clay type with matte finish to hold my hair and keep it straight for the entire day and the second is a high shine.
Thanks! I have straight resistance Asian hair, which makes it a bit difficult to style. I currently use Aussie's Maximum Hold gel, but am looking for a new product (that's more free flowing) as that one makes it very stiff and hard. Does anyone have any recommendations for products with firm hold and high shine, as well as being water soluble? I tried using an Oil-Based Pomade, which achieved the firm hold/shine/free flowing characteristic I wanted, but the buildup and constant greasy hair isn't something I can keep up with. I heard Suavecito's Firm Hold is good, have any of you all tried it?
@@olympiangod8294 Where can I find Tancho, and is it water soluble and easily able to be washed out with water and some simple conditioner? Also, are you still able to comb your hair after the pomade has set in for awhile (say maybe an hour or two after styling it), or does it make it stiff and rigid, requiring water to make it fluid again? Thanks for your help
@@GreenSpacebug Tancho is easily washes off and combs like butter. Can be restyled too. There are reviews here in YT, try watching one. Here in my country, i can find it on pharmacies.
When I first got into pomade, Clark Gable was the first person I tried to imitate. Wish I could master his mustache though
The Variety Show Pencil stache! That's such a classic.
Tim Costa I'll take that into consideration! Requests will be taken late this year when I make videos again.

CFC 19 Depends on your hair type
what is recommended length on the top and sides? I never know what to tell the barber
Good question I always thought it had to be longer on the sides than he has. But it looks like a 4 on the sides and just long on the top
I cut a 5 on the sides and a 8 on top, then some brylcreem
@@autumnszopacs8057 Does it look like he has a taper, or smth? What should I tell my barber?
My hairdresser does a #2 clipper up the sides and my top is probably 6" long.
I use to put Murray's now I just put bag palm it comes with all three products in one its Real greese used to put on cows for chap skin
We've used bag balm for generations, never would have thought to put it in my hair, though.
Im from Brazil 👏👏
