Hello friend, good morning, in your opinion, what is the best hair tonic?

Of the hair tonics I've tried, Vitalis is my favorite so far and my favorite hair grooming product. Lucky Tiger ended up being too greasy and weighed my fine textured hair down and Clubman Pinaud wasn't as good (plus I hated the scent of the Clubman tonic as it made me smell like a margarita). Pomades, creams (the only ones I've tried are Brylcreem and Wildroot) and even clays just make my hair look too greasy, stringy and gross looking. Vitalis gives me a nice natural look with better volume, decent hold for my side part business style cut and nice soft hair. It's not perfect but I'm enjoying it. I want to try Jeris without the mineral oil and Osage Rub again as well as Reuzel Grooming tonic.

Is it made up of bottle or plastic pls?

I like the grease. Something that wets and holds without getting hard as a rock.

i use brylcream 50 jears but there is something wrong with the product sometimes it feels like butter in your hands and another time it feels like water in your hands very strange overal a good product

Very informative video! Um i bought this mens hair tonic that I've been using but I'm not a man 😂 surely it's okay though... just to try grow my hair faster and it says it has dht blockers in it.

Royal Crown Pomade (not the hair dressing) has great shine,but the hold is very light/weak. It will not hold more challenging hairstyles like Elvis/Roy Orbison pompadours well at all. You will constantly fussing with and combing your hair and it will keep falling down. It also wont stand up to bright sun/heat. It has great shine though. The scent is light,but some have compared it to smelling like their grandmother or baby diapering products

Black and White has no hold at all. The only thing its good for is a topping to give your hair shine. It will NOT hold a pompadour or any serious style and will drip like crazy in summer heat. You keep hearing people say "Elvis used this",yes,as a topping for shine,but it didnt create his pompadour. He used thick waxy oil based pomades under it.

How in the hell did Murray's "lose" the formula for the blue Sweet Georgia Brown? I used it when Murray's still made it and it worked fantastic. Held a big Roy Orbison style all day and the scent was incredible. Then it disappeared from the market. I've been on the fence about trying this version by Lockharts,usually reproductions are never the same of the original,especially since Lockharts is improvising here since there's no original formula to base it on.

I used this stuff again today, kind of had a love/hate relationship with it, because I don't usually use oil based products, but I did what my hair naturally wanted to do, a nice side part, and I used my cowlics to my advantage! Also, with it still being summer, I keep my hair short too, so almost impossible to get anything going with it. I like lighter pomades! Plus, pomades aren't really "light" in the first place.
