    You always somehow review products right as I'm looking into buying them. Keep up the good work!

    can i use a hair tonic before gel and cream and wax too? or just before pomade?

    • @pomadesandpomps
      @pomadesandpomps  2 года назад +4

      You can before any product, (and it's nice to use before gel since it can help stop gel from being overly crunchy), but my main advice I will give is not about what products you will use after, but more about what hairstyle you will do (which in turn affects the products haha).
      Hair tonics as prestylers are better for neater, slicker styles, where pomade, gel, and cream can be used for that.
      For textured and matte hairstyles, it is better to use a sea salt spray or a volumizing/matte cream as a prestyler instead of a tonic (and the post-stylers for that are obviously clays and pastes)

    Would continuously water bottle out too much product on your hair . Had a barber use a tonic from one of those

    I have a question about this hair tonic. Later on Im going to buy one hair tonic but have been deciding whether to get Jeris Hair Tonic,Clubman Pinaud Hair Tonic,or Lucky Tiger Hair Tonic. I can’t really get a good answer,so what’s the difference? Do they just have different smells,different holds,or different shines and if so which one is better in your opinion?

    • @pomadesandpomps
      @pomadesandpomps  4 года назад +1

      Jeris with or without oil? If without, Lucky Tiger should be the shiniest and it seems Lucky Tiger has the tad most hold here. If Jeris has oil, perhaps it would be the shiniest but Lucky Tiger still wins in the hold department

      @the Game, Review and Reallife Channel Well a few weeks ago,I got Jeris and loved it. Clubman Pinuad Greaseless didn’t do much for hair and scalp help for me,and I recently found out Lucky Tiger has parabens which aren’t good. Jeris was the way to go,but I might buy Vaseline Tonic next.

      @the Game, Review and Reallife Channel Alright. So,4 months later and I got a lot of tonics. Clubman Greaseless and ended up getting Jeris with Oil and Lucky Tiger after more research. I also got Jeris Osage Rub too. I also got Vaseline Hair Tonic and Tres Flores Liquid Brillinatine.All fantastic products.

    I currently have the Jeris tonic without oil as I hate mineral oil in hair products and so far I'm liking it. Way better than both Vitalis and Vaseline "Hair Tonic" (that stuff was nasty). Still have yet to try Lucky Tiger Tonic, Clubman Pinaud and Osage Rub.

      Vitalis is one of the very BEST men's hair loation out there. Can't beat it. It has the best, most nicest fragrance, very masculine and it's the very best over all product than the rest of these other men's hair loations out there.

      @@danbasta3677 I've actually since gone back to Vitalis and I have changed my mind on it. It is so far my favorite hair grooming product. Lucky Tiger ended up being too greasy and weighed my fine textured hair down and Clubman Pinaud wasn't as good (plus I hated the scent of the Clubman tonic as it made me smell like a margarita). Vitalis gives me a nice natural look with better volume, decent hold for my side part business style cut and nice soft hair. It's not perfect but I'm enjoying it so far.
