15/2/2019: Finally got around to releasing this video today after being requested to release a video on this tonic a few weeks ago, despite having shot this video half a year ago (hence my older video style). I apologize if I tend to repeat points too much as this was the very first review I did after my 6 month break from making RUclips videos last year. Also when I said "what's not to hate" towards the end, that really was a brain fart and I meant to say "what's not to love".
I went to a new barber a few days ago. He used this product and blow dried it. I have short grey hair which feels dry at times. And my scalp also sometimes flakes and itches. I use a prescription shampoo for this. I noticed by the end of the day. This product seemed to moisturize my hair. It also seemed to calm the condition of my scalp. I was going to purchase it. It says it has oils. But the ingredients do not list any oils. The primary ingredient is alcohol. I’m waiting for the company to respond to me. Good video about the product.
i like how you say you use this on lazy days. I do the same, I use lucky tiger on days i don't want to be dapper. If I'm at home or just a day when i don't have a lot going on. Lucky tiger is very similar to vitalis in terms of it's hold which makes it a unique hair tonic as other tonics tend to be either just a nice alcohol fragrance head splash or a brilliantine like Vaseline hair tonic which is just mineral oil.
Reason why I hate this internet shopping and shipping thing. You get products with broken lids, half spilled out contents, tubes busted, other things broken.
Thanks for the review. I am going to buy buy this tonic. I enjoy using these tonics alone without pomades. Do you ever use tonics without other products ?
@@pomadesandpomps I'd give it a try, except the bottle looks kind of cheap. Write to the company and suggest they up their game and switch to nice glass bottles. I'm thinking this is probably used by barbers in 3rd world countries who can't afford to charge much for haircuts. I remember getting a cool splash of some tonic or another during my younger days, after a hair cut. The label on the bottle says "3 Purpose". What's the other 2 purposes of this product besides hair tonic? Will it give my car better gas mileage if I pour some in
@@freddykrueger6571 I do agree that these liquid hair loations should indeed be in glass bottles instead of cheap plastic bottles that as time goes by, the become very brittle and break.
If I'd be looking for a hair tonic with as much hold as possible, wich one would you recommend? (I heard that REUZEL GROOMING TONIC is quite good) Greetings from Belgium

I know about their aftershave but I haven't seen their hair tonic before. Been curious about it.

Vitalis is and always has been a great product to use, it's THE very BEST.
Propylparaben is an ester, which is a type of oil.
Odd my bottle of this tonic showed up with s broken cap. You hit all the points about tonics. Good job.

Thanks for the review. I'm a fan of Lucky Tiger..
How does this compare to Vitalis? Which has better hold?
Vitalis is much better.

Only at home when I don't plan on going out
Really great video man, love your work
Does the tonic can make hair regrow? Any recomendations for good hair tonic?
Vitalis.
if someone left that bottle in the fridge by accident,
i might actually drink it!
Freddy Krueger As a matter of fact, I leave alcohol based hair tonics like this in the fridge during summer for a cooling sensation in the scalp!

Vitalis will always be the very best! Nothing beats it.
Great video, informative....is this expensive?
ggbangkok I say it's worth it for the amount it has, I got it for €20 but I understand that it's cheaper in the US (about $18 to $20)
Juste recieved mine but it doesnt smell anything ? Am I retarded or is it “broken” ? If i sniff really hard i smell alcohol but nothing else...
there are no oils indeed
This is fucking great!
Hey, you have Instagram?
