Nice tidy job, my only little 🤏 gripe would be, I probably would have put more silicone under the sink as this would stop water tracking under the sink and damaging the cabinet top. Other than that, bobbon 👍
Nicevideo...little tip that would have got you done in day 2...when your tile adhesive where going off use a tin snips to cut the tile spacers back so they hold the tile in place but dont sit proud of the tile. Then you can grout straight away wholst the tile adhesive mis still setting...just grout over the spacers...they wont slip ....but well done ...
On the plastic cistern I'd drill a hole on the bottom and fit a bottom entry fill valve and blank off the side hole. Less hassle to connect and if you fit a well known brand fill valve it's easier to service . When you mentioned about space being tight for the button that's why the cistern has a space on the left for it!!! As for thr basin I would of siliconed all around it so as to stop water drips etc running down the edge of the basin and blowing the unit. Your tiling for a novice qas ok but as others have said the lines don't line up but that's a small gripe. Sort the waste pipe out colour wise spoils it imo. You went to the suppliers so could of gotten some. I'm surprised that someone that's doing these things all the time never has basic stock in the truck. I appreciate we go through stuff quite quickly and then think we have one on the truck somewhere!!
😭😭😭😭😭black😂😂😂 Does make me laugh that you have to even mention it,there are some nobs out there Good tip with the old tape though mate I shall be stealing that one 👍🏻
@@nivenwoodfine1928 oh right I was well confused then, oh yeah people slag it to death. Fair enough if it’s on show but does it really matter if it hidden away 😂
Jesus man get some bloody gloves on before you do yourself an injury. Porcelain is razor sharp and your hands are your business!! That aside very neat job and a great first effort at tiling, you can be well proud of that job.
Cheers for the shout out buddy! I did show the tip but was originally from plumb like Tom :)
No worries bud 🙌
Ah cool, well thank to all 3 of you.
Tiling looks fine from here mate, with bigger areas the self levelling clips are game changer.
Cheers pal
Very nice outcome. Also, your tiling looked great!
Thank you!
Can you use a heat gun to remove broken pvc from a sewer line? Is it safe?
I’ve never tried it to be honest
Cheers

Looking good 👍
Thanks 👍

Cheers for the tip pal, I remember that for next time
Do you do gas too?
I do yes
Love that electrical tape tip, could have used that the other day.
Me too!
Hi great job and very tidy just one small thing I do bathrooms the tiling lines don’t line up was there a reason for that.
Which bit, I thought I did really well 😂
I think he means you went for a brick bond layout rather than having them directly above one another. Just personal preference I think ir looks good 😊
@@Tom_Plumb_PHS yeah I went for brick bond
Nice one mate, that isn't an easy first tile job, so many fiddley cuts and trims.
Thanks 👍 it was the dodgy angles such a pain
Top tip for breaking a toilet, don't break around the outlet and pull it out instead, if you break it you have a chance of bits falling into the drain
I’d usually pull it out, however on this one I didn’t want to damage the tiles
@SmartPipePlumbing no I meant break the base out yes but don't break the pipe, you will hate yourself if something goes down

Cheers for the comment pal. I’m a night mare for re stocking to be honest. When you say the lines were out on the tiles what do you mean which part?
Where’s ya Gloves ????
I know I know my bad 😥

Lost me there? Black?
Waste pipe mate, the waste pipe 😂

Can you open the right door fully open?
You can yeah the door where off centre to make sure you could open it
Good video but you need to wear gloves when taking a WC pan out in that way, also invest in dust sheets, well done.
Customer must them
Mats down for us and they was happy with that, I know I should of been wearing gloves
The tiling looked ok but the lines should all line up upwards and across that’s all I was saying otherwise a good job 👍
What do you mean, so not brick effect?
You ever got any stock on your van 😅. What did you charge for the job if you dont mind me asking?
I don’t keep a grate deal of stock on the van to be fair, the price would be telling 😂 I personally charged £700 joiner and materials were separate
@SmartPipePlumbing Cheers mate. So do you pay for the joiner and materials then bill the customer for them separately?
@@mdocko2285 no so customer paid them directly
@SmartPipePlumbing did you supply basin and toilet ,taps at that price?? Or just labour and consumables
@@pault3705 just labour and consumables customer paid the suppliers direct

Cheers mate thanks a lot, I really do need to start putting gloves on instead of just getting stuck in
🤘😎🤘
🙌🙌🙌
Naaa man where the black mamba gloves at 😂😂
In the van 😂 I need to start getting them
Out everytime
See tilings not that difficult I knew you could do it!! Why won’t they learn that them 500 units are a chuffing nightmare to get cold feed on
Could just use a bottom entry cistern. Can’t beat the Roper Rhodes Trade
@@stuartfisher5705 yeah true, nice one yeah roper are brill if customers willing to pay
Tell me about it I do prefer side entry for maintenance purposes
Перчатки , при демонтаже унитаза обязательно .У меня шрам на пол ладони из за похожей работы .
I need to start taking ppe more seriously
gloves mate gloves please
I know I know 🤦♂️
