SJW isn't an insult, you shouldn't take it as one :) Republicans think it's gonna offend us, don't let it. it means you're pissing off the baby boomers. good job!
I have a question. I'm questioning if I'm non-binary and so I've been going by a different name with my friends and we recently did secret Santa and my friend wrote my name I'm going with with them. My mom read the paper and asked was this some kind of code name I was using. I explained to her what I was doing and she didn't respond. I later heard her talking to my dad about how I was using the name because "Some random youtuber told her to". I want to calmly explain to her that 1. I want her out of business and 2. it's my decision not hers without being impolite. Any tips on how I should do this? Thanks!
Maybe tell them it's like a phase if they are unaccepting, I'm wondering how to come out to my parents as bi, if you have any ideas that would be great thanks.
@@thengspjo4716 Before I accidently came out as questioning if I was non-binary, I had come out to my parents that I was questioning if I was lesbian (I was for a bit but obviously that's changed) I just put a questioning flag picture over my bed so I wasn't coming to them with it, they would have to come to me. I recommend printing out a bi flag when your parents aren't in the room with the printer (assuming u have a printer if not idk srry) then download the picture and print it.
What I enjoy about you and your content is that you don’t seem to be afraid of being wrong or not having to be right about everything. Admitting that you’re wrong, confused, etc. takes so much more emotional and mental strength than it does to either ignore it or argue about it with someone.
My ten commandments about trolls and haters 1) They feed your stats and popularity. the more they comment the higher you end in the rankings. That's a good thing right? as then you can reach more good people. 2) Negative comments are not always haters or trolls. And different opinions is not always bad. Some people hate to eat fish, others love it. So if you ever show how you make a meal with fish, it's ok if some people will say it's disgusting, they would never eat what you make and your dish is worthless, because they are right, in their opinion. if you make broccoli I will tell you the same. 😂 3) take a good laugh when they troll. its black humor, Monty Python style 4) trolls are jealous, this means that your work is good, better than their work, so is, in fact, a compliment. So take it as a compliment. 5) Someone said, bad publicity makes you more famous, and bring more people to you. Bad publicity is also publicity, so use everything you can to get more stats and viewers, these trolls really help you 6) Trolls teach you how to take critics when later on a boss will yell at you, that your work is worthless, when he has a bad day 😂, even if it's not. You will have stronger skin to resist such. 7) trolls teach you how humanity is. This makes you become more mature. especially if you follow the 6 first steps I wrote. 8) NEVER, NEVER, and NEVER respond to them. In the worst case, if you can delete their comments without saying a word and report them. Because they are attention seekers. If they don't get any attention they will start looking elsewhere. 9) Life is beautiful if you focus on the nice parts. I mean you get maybe 30% of negative and troll comments as an example. Good, extra 30% publicity, but this means you still have 60% of good comments you can focus on. 10) Remember that you NEVER, NEVER, NEVER can make everyone happy, Nobody can, even the best of the best ever will have many negative comments and haters. In fact, the better you are the more haters you get because you also get more people that like you.
Hi! Out of everyone at school, me and my friends (all three of us aren't cis) just happen to be the ones who have lockers next to the tr@nsph0b1c boys. Thank you for the video!
I AM currently learning/eduacting myself about this subject - so thanks for your help. I have always been a strong supporter of LBTQ+ (I am hetero or 'straight' - quick question here: is 'straight' an offensive term? I feel like it could be)) despite not knowing much about it - there is no downside in supporting people for who they are, especially when one has as many friends in the community as I do. Tbh, if I were e.g. bi or gay I wouldn't feel the need to come out to my parents, not in a way that I'd keep it a secret but more like . . . we don't talk about sexualities in our family anyway (kind of raised obliviously, so I am tending towards asexuality, though that's not quite it, takes like 4 sentences to explain), and me presenting e.g. my girlfriend to my parents would work the exact same way like me presenting my boyfriend to them. They are conservative in other fields, so it'd be dressing up nicely for a formal dinner XD purpose of this comment . . . haven't had my ethically produced coffee yet. Let's support everyone for who they are, no matter their sexuality/gender/race/religion and make the world a better and peaceful place together
""I AM currently learning/eduacting myself about this subject"" Educating in what? Just be yourself, dont follow the flow of what others of your generation want you to be. Most of them in ten years time will regret what they did now, also to themselves. it is normal, look at any generation, they all had their own weird years and then become mature adult and change, We call this maturity. This is why you should never follow what others of your age want from you. Be who you want. It's your life. This doesnt mean you have a freecard to be the total or do things you will regret in the future, just think what is best for yourself, now and in the future
I don't know you but your comments are so mature, smart, and just the truth. You clearly did your research before posting your content. I wish more people did this.
Non-binary people experience attraction towards other people just like men or women do. Non-binary people attracted to women are trixic, non-binary people attracted to men are toric and non-binary people attracted to other non-binary people are enbian. Non-binary people can also be asexual, bisexual, pansexual, etc. just like men and women.
I don't really hate this person per se, the content isn't really targeted toward me, I get that. But it's still just kinda upsetting to see people who make being lgbtq+ their entire personality. Let it be known I genuinely have nothing against the community, in fact I'm being slowly educated on bits of it through a very close friend of mine. It's just... I feel like, as a content creator, you don't have to make 100% of your content just "silly relatable lgbtq+ moment." It starts to feel like you make that quirky detail about yourself into your entire personality and all of your content. I just personally feel like a bit of variety goes a long way. (And obviously I'm not saying this is specific to being lgbtq+, plenty of people make a small detail about themselves their entire personality, and I have an equal problem with all of them.) I'm not saying their content should be an even 50/50 split between relatable lgbtq+ humor and something else, just a small sprinkle of different kinds of sketches adds a lot to overall content.
Yeah it is true that their content is all lgbtq+ content, but they are making this channel about lgbtq it isn’t just a channel that was like a vlog channel maybe or something and it became about lgbtq it is just about lgbtq and while i get you’r point, i also respectfully disagree with it.
@@maisie5556 Yeah, that's definitely understandable. It's acceptable cuz that is how they market themselves, not as anything else. I didn't think of it under that light at the time.
Yeah it is annoying when people make their entire personality about being gay, such as Netflix characters. However, laurenzo actually has a goal to inform people about LGBTQIA+, which is amazing. 😃 🏳️🌈
You could say: “I hope your day is as nice as you are.” That way, your wishing them a unpleasant day in the most gentle way possible
I love how the cats name is mouse.
Ikr so adorable
It is? That's adorable
It would be hilarious if their dog was named cat XD
