I do believe that they have their "perfect" singer. Stage presence, voice ...... Perfect package.I really hope Floor stays with them. The energy the band has, i have not seen before.My favourite band has never sounded better.

Adding the spectacular ending to "Ghost Love Score" she already showed that she's nothing like Tarja. She uses her 'regular' voice so there's no problem that she will ever become the one the tarja's fans want her to be. Floor has both Anette and Tarja's voices in compilation and that's the most beautiful about her.

I was at a Nightwish concert back in March and this song was by far the most fun of the night. Nightwish have made some great music over the past 20 years but nothing gets a crowd more into it than this.
She's really improved since this recording. She'd only been singing with the band for a month at that point. Should hear some of the more recent concerts, she sounds amazing! Her rendition of Ghost Love Score is perfection.

I am a 58 year old white male from the United States. Paducah, Kentucky to be exact. Now this is NIGHTWISH! I never thought ANYONE could replace Tara but this lady is so talented, so beautiful, so vocally powerful and so seductive, it is SO good to see this power band being fronted by a dark haired power singer again! NIGHTWISH is back.
Outside this nonsense fight over nightwish' singers, the band delivered the best live performances on the last tour. Long live Nightwish!

I never noticed when they hit The North American Tour. And I was upclose, and I nearly shit my pants hearing the beauty in her voice. Of course, when its been 2 hours of awesomeness, they'll be tired, but she did her best :)

The guys in nightwish look so much happier compared to the end of an era concert video. I believe toumas has made the best decision for the future of nightwish and we will see much better things to come.

Finally getting the singer he wanted for years. They toured with After Forever around 2003. I swear Once Album was written for Floor's voice.

This constant dreaming up scenarios to put Floor in the favorable light compared to the other singers this band had over the years is pathetic. Floor is a good singer, sure, but still waiting on this miracle of an album with her though.

I've been a fan of After Forever and ReVamp for years. And I think Floor is my favourite metal singer since then, even though I admit that other can be as good as her. If someone had told me "Floor singing for Nightwish" a few weeks ago, I'd have laughed and said "Nooo, that'll never happen, ye' crazy mate". So, thumb up if you too think the only comment one can do is "Astonishing.".

i like Floor , she sounds good . I also like Annette as well as Tarja . Of course the original is the best but i appreciate te fact that they still go on and try to continue the band's legacy . Good music
shes not trying too hard to be tarja she just goes out on stage has fun and sings with her own voice I can tell the new album will kick ass
Metalfan since1996 I really dont know what i can expect from new album, its so mysterious becouse of all these styles floor can sing, maybe we will have some little growls in album, but .... i cant w8 for it, it will be really kickass album

Wikipedia calls it symphonic metal. Others might refer to it differently. If you like this kind of metal, then I would suggest bands like: Within Temptation, Ensiferum, Imperia, Therion, Epica, Krypteria, Tarja Turunen, Sirenia, Xandria, Edenbridge, Unshine, Battlelore ... and many many others.

kuyo blackstone There's a lot of garbage out there. Most of these bands have females that are mediocre fronting them, or you'll find they're afraid to be heavy, or afraid to be different... stick with old Nightwish, After Forever, and Epica. For something unique, but similar (though the singer is male), try the very first Saviour Machine.
The male vocalist, Marco Hietala, has his own band with Tarot, and sings on a few Delain tracks as well. He also features on Northern Kings, a supergroup covering classic tracks and doing pretty damn well at it.
