Tarja was unique, mystic, phonemenal and unmatched on stage. Even her glances, costumes leaves an impression on you. Her aura is something you can’t even describe. Such a shame Nightwish has lost her.

Meu Pai faleceu dia 11/11/2022 em uma acidente na estrada, ele era carreteiro e gostava muito de Rock e Heavy Metal e principalmente do Marko Hietala!
Eu influenciei muito ele a apreciar Heavy Metal e Nightwish..Ele curtia muito as musicas em que o Marko Hietala cantava no Nightwish, a favorita dele era essa mesmo, " Wish I Had an Angel".
Sou fã do Marko desde que conheci o Nightwish em 2003, e fico feliz por meu Pai ter conhecido e apreciado a voz desse magnifico cantor em diversas músicas.
Hoje é dia 25/12/2022, é Natal. Estou aqui ouvindo esse som e lembrando do meu pai. Sinto falta da Tarja, Jukka e principalmente do Marko na banda, e agora mais que tudo, sinto a falta de ver esse Show fantástico ao lado do meu Pai..
Deixarei aqui esse registro em homenagem ao meu velho, que onde que que esteja, aposto que sempre vai estar ouvindo essa música e um bom e velho Heavy Metal!

Tarja Turunen is a phenomenon
And Floor is the fucking legend... When was the last time Metallica recognized Tarja's talent in person? I'll wait... EVERY band evolves - even Metallica isn't quite the same as they once were - so every single song by Nightwish is supposed to sound the same like they did back when they were all in their 20's again? Where was your drawback when Jukka left and Kai replaced him? Did they miss a beat? Nope - I loved Jukka's charisma but Kai has his own skills.... what about Sami? When Marco took over and Sami was gone - no one complained... when Marco left and the other Jukka joined, they lost a powerhouse in Marco, but he once said Floor is a powerhouse himself, and Tuomas said if Floor ever left, Nightwish would be done... I agree Tarja is unique but Floor IS Nightwish!

i love how she's harmonizing in the back ground walking aroudn with her hand up while marco was singing lol. i also love how she basically has a different outfit for each song and how the mics are color co-ordinated lol. and her outfits are absolute bangers as well.. all of them.

yep, but it depends some english speaking fans have said that they have sometimes hard time to understand her because of her accent, I am estonian myself and I speak finnish as well so I love her accent, in my opinion she is very understandable when she singis in english :)

Tarja had her era with the band, she has a very clean voice, but she couldn't do the grit vocals - hence Marko did them, until Floor came along - then she & Marko shared them... and now this is Floor's band!

@@luxetveritas9196 Well, I do appreciate all facets of Nightwish. That includes Tarja, Annette and Floor. Each of them brought something unique to the band. Just because I think people should move on from the olden Tarja days and be more open minded towards Nightwish's current lineup, that doesn't mean you can't enjoy their past music and vocalists :-) I just can't understand how one would still say things like "This is the real Nightwish" even after 16 years have passed since Tarja left. People could just enjoy the things Tarja and Nightwish did together and move on ;-)

до 99 я слушал prodigy и всякую кислоту.....друг дал мне послушать сначала rammstein, а потом Nightwish..... я влюбился в голос Тарьи....досихпор у меня в машине играет Nightwish...хотя прошло 21 год))))

With the origins of Symphonic Metal, I would argue that if Nightwish had one of their other lead singers other than Tarja, they would not have been as successful. In my opinion, it is Tarja's voice that was the primary aspect that let them stand out.
I'm not saying Floor or Anette were bad singers or bad for Nightwish. They are both great. Nightwish just wouldn't have been as big without Tarja (and Marco).
Marco is NOT an original member of the band!! But he is the greatest addition to a band ever in the history of bands!! The real problem with nightwish is that everybody from the inception was at an almost god level high standard musically and you cant blame tuomas for wanting to maintain that standard. Sadly human beings are prone to downfalls!!! It is the human experience!! The band was built everrything around tarja because tuomas was in love with her. Most of the love songs are about his love for her and ghost love score is about her departure when she told him she was leaving.
I don't know, Epica became pretty famous with Simone, and I'd say Floor is objectively better at doing what Simone does. On the other hand, old era Nightwish is enchanting.
Agreed 👍🏻 Tarja's voice is so powerful and unique. Other voices, however gorgeous and powerful, can't be compared with what she brought to these songs. Absolute magic ✨

I didn't even know who Nightwish was before I watched this song and I was gobsmacked , what a magical presence of the singer and the group is so much in tune. I'm definitely now a fan.
