Man, this takes me back. When anime first started showing up in video stores in the early 90s, my brother and I rented every tape of it we could find. A lot of the stuff we watched had the same style and quality as this. The bad dubbing, the awkward pauses, the gung-ho attitude, and the weird way scenes peter out into long dissolves, it was all there. Most of it was dreck, but we found the goofiness endearing.
First anime i seen was on tv, had zombies in it, very dark. There was a guy that loved his shotgun in it. Its one of those films ill never see again unfortunatly

lol I can't believe the number of people who state that they can't follow the story. It is not that difficult. So many people talking bad about the voice actors. They are not that bad. The bigger problem at times is the translations.
Yeesh. The production, script, and voice acting talent of "Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors" in movie form, one year after "Akira" came out. I'm not sure how a show with cyborg guerrilla gorillas, psychics, killer robots, orbital weapons platforms, FTL via black holes, and "every man for himself and God against all" mission specialists could be boring, but man, they pulled it off. Cameo roles by the crew of the Axiom. To quote the big bad: "How very stupid."
It was completely incoherent at times rather than boring, the premise on paper is quite interesting. There wasn't really much character development and the script and dubbing just bad.
Most Japanese voice actors (including Megumi Hayashibara who was the voice of Kina) are uncredited in this anime OVA movie, or any anime OVAs that was original owned by the defunct Central Park Media.
Omg...... I have wanted to find this nostalgic animation I used to watch when young but I could not until today cause I had no clue for title or character’s name....! I am so happy to find this one again. Reminding my childhoold so much.

I love the technology too especially the warp gate the ring if God lol, love the storyline of garaga imagine if humanity did get their hands on garage it would lead us into expansion , growth and development era to garaga cuz garaga is the only other planet that actually supports life naturally without needing to build space station and some cities and there's 1 continent on garaga the size of Asia and half of Africa combine plenty of room for a few billion people to live on and expand and thrive living in a big boom time probably a few centuries and maybe sometime later they find another liveable planet to colonize or one that can easily be terraformed to live on and so forth lol
