Thanks so much for this video......."enjoy where you are - while you are" - GREAT advice! Think we all take a lot for granted (even tho we don't mean to) I recently retired as well, and so looking forward to start traveling. I live in Texas too and one of my bucket list items is to visit all TX State Parks. Your list was very informative & gave me even more ideas for my bucket list! Stay safe - God Bless You - and will look into more of your videos. Happy travels ...🥾🏕️
Thanks gals for great video. Been weekend camping for 4 years throughout Texas. My goal has been to see the vast diversity within the state. Still got Fort Davis area to see. Am not working, so am lining up longer trips starting after heat breaks.
My sister and I also travel together. Slightly different as I'm retired and she is working as a travel nurse. We get an assignment and use that as our base to spend 3 months exploring the area extensively. This past spring we were working in Helena so we were in and out of Yellowstone several times. Really enjoyed it early without all the tourists. Our favorite has been and remains the Black Hills of S. Dakota. We especially love staying at Custer State Park.
Doing this video was a great idea! In two days, I'm heading out on my three (retired of course ) week trip to Yellowstone! Your Yellowstone videos have been the backbone of my trip planning. Invaluable ! I will be disburse camping and will stay at some of the ones you loved. I changed my original plan to stay base camped in the West Yellowstone area but changed everything when I saw your Divide and Conqueror plan! Brilliant; smarter, more efficient and more interesting. But I didn't realize you've done all these other trips. Next year, my plan is to do the Utah NPs. I've only been to Zion & Bryce as a child but never the other parks and monuments. Once back from Yellowstone, I'm looking forward to a cozy winter perusing your Utah trip videos and building my adventure! Thank you so much😍
Oh my goodness. I was raised in Bloomington and still live here in the area! So excited to hear you loved the area. Hoping to retire in less than 24 months and hubby and I plan to go to as many places as possible. Your videos have been helpful. Especially Meriwerher Lewis and Badlands. Safe travels dear sisters!
Are you having any trouble as women traveling I am as a woman alone and the camp host pouncing on you the second you get in wondering how long you're going to be there and walking up to the car while you're changing its so invasive.
@@naturelover1284 That's a camp host who needs to be reported. We've had no problems. Anytime either of us don't feel completely comfortable somewhere, we keep driving. These days most of our camping is dispersed.
@@TwoTiredTeachers Yes I did the funny thing is these were single women Camposting so I often wonder if it's some kind of new regulations they're giving or instructions because they're new campus to not the usual People that have been their old guys that leave you alone

@@sueweis1489 We know a lot about the Texas heat. It will eventually break. Enjoy your travels.
Carlsbad Caverns is one of my favorite road trips. Love hearing from you guys. God is good!
@@prepper1013 We couldn't agree more. God has richly blessed us.
Hi you two! Malina you look so pretty with your green sweater and red hair! Our family loves watching your adventures, thanks!
@@jeffwarren8154 Thank you so much; however, I've quit coloring my hair, so now it's brown and gray

I am so glad you two ladies are still around. Will you be doing a youtube live in the future?
We're considering it.
