    Hey Luke thanks for another great video . This old man has learned a lot of detailing tricks from you. Just a suggestion, use side cutters to trim your wire ties all the way down to the base as they can be very sharp and will cut you or the interior your working on. As a Mobile detailer, I have been thinking about this setup and specifically trying to keep the water line nice and tidy because it has to go all the way back to my van and I’ve found a solution! If I just tip tie it to the power cord of the vacuum. They are both coming from the same general direction! 👍 thanks Luke for trying this out because I really value your opinion. I was looking at the vac master beast for a vacuum anyways so my rigid will be dedicated to my extractor.

      @Love To Do Cool Stuff easily. So you could buy a{(1/2)5gpm pump, put a bulk head fitting for (1/)2 on a 55 or 30 gallon container, and plumb that to the pump. If you like get an accumulator after the pump just o keep the power up. Get a deep cycle marine batter to power the pump and presto!!

    This is a great video, I did mobile detailing for many years, I had a mytee extractor, I did not have a generator, I used the electric from the customer... it was a hot water extractor with only 1 plug to power the pump, vacuum, and heating element.. the problem I ran into was if I tried to power all 3 at once I ended up blowing the circuit breaker... so I had to use 2 separate circuits... so I used the heat and pump from the mytee extractor and used the vacuum from a home depot ridged wet dry vacuum which was alot stronger then the mytee

I am just using my Ridgid 4 gal 5.0 peak portable vacuum with the wet filter as an extractor I have the Ridgid 3 gal peak HP NXT to vacuum cars. It’s compact and really strong enough to vacuum the cars and you can put it in the car if you want. But I also bought the Ridgid car detailing hose kit. Dude SO true. The power of suction is what is key to removing soil and moisture. For upholstery, you barely need much psi, that garden hose is more than enough. Heat is helpful, but isn't super necessary. The reason those extractors are so expensive is because it's such a proprietary product. You got everything you need for a fraction of the cost

    • @ICT_Anton
      @ICT_Anton 24 дня назад

    Just started going through the class you have online, loving it! I’ve really been thinking about this as a solution, but I’ve also been toying with an idea to make it a full on hot water extractor. Because you don’t need like 4gpm or something crazy for this. You could conceivably connect it to one of the mobile camping shower hot water systems, and just run your cold water hose in and connect the blue one to the hot outlet for the shower head.. I’d love to see you try it, and truthfully once I get the funds to finally start my business I’m going to try it myself. But just thought I’d put that bug in everyone’s ear and see how it develops. Great video. I love this kit! It’s certainly not cheaper than the parts list to buy individually but having the time savings really seems to throw the kit over the top of me. Just an easy buy, and then plug and play

    • @davidvolland7250
      @davidvolland7250 11 месяцев назад +1

      You can certainly buy the parts individually and make your own kit and save money. However, all of the extractor that I have seen just have a copper hose coming out of the end and spray it as a stream of concentrated water in one small spot, the size of a dime. This particular brand sprays, the mist of pressurized water over the width of the suction device so it’s much better set up.

    • @samij1204
      @samij1204 Год назад +1

      The vacuum suction on the Rigid is much more powerful than the Spot Clean Pro. The Spot Clean Pro leaves a bit to be desired on the final suction, there's more water left behind making for longer drying times. Also the atomization of the water on the Bissel is not as fine as the Mytee/this extractor head(based on this video).

    I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, O Lord, show this also to thy servant: whether after death, as soon as every one of us yields up his soul, we shall be kept in rest until those times come when thou wilt renew the creation, or whether we shall be tormented at once?" 76 He answered me and said, "I will show you that also, but do not be associated with those who have shown scorn, nor number yourself among those who are tormented. 77 For you have a treasure of works laid up with the Most High; but it will not be shown to you until the last times.
    78 Now, concerning death, the teaching is: When the decisive decree has gone forth from the Most High that a man shall die, as the spirit leaves the body to return again to him who gave it, first of all it adores the glory of the Most High. 79 And if it is one of those who have shown scorn and have not kept the way of the Most High, and who have despised his law, and who have hated those who fear the Most High -- 80 such spirits shall not enter into habitations, but shall immediately wander about in torments, ever grieving and sad, in seven ways.
    81 The first way, because they have scorned the law of the Most High. 82 The second way, because they cannot now make a good repentance that they may live. 83 The third way, they shall see the reward laid up for those who have trusted the covenants of the Most High. 84 The fourth way, they shall consider the torment laid up for themselves in the last days. 85 The fifth way, they shall see how the habitations of the others are guarded by angels in profound quiet. 86 The sixth way, they shall see how some of them will pass over into torments. 87 The seventh way, which is worse than all the ways that have been mentioned, because they shall utterly waste away in confusion and be consumed with shame, and shall wither with fear at seeing the glory of the Most High before whom they sinned while they were alive, and before whom they are to be judged in the last times.
    88 "Now this is the order of those who have kept the ways of the Most High, when they shall be separated from their mortal body. 89 During the time that they lived in it, they laboriously served the Most High, and withstood danger every hour, that they might keep the law of the Lawgiver perfectly. 90 Therefore this is the teaching concerning them: 91 First of all, they shall see with great joy the glory of him who receives them, for they shall have rest in seven orders.
    92 The first order, because they have striven with great effort to overcome the evil thought which was formed with them, that it might not lead them astray from life into death. 93 The second order, because they see the perplexity in which the souls of the unrighteous wander, and the punishment that awaits them. 94 The third order, they see the witness which he who formed them bears concerning them, that while they were alive they kept the law which was given them in trust. 95 The fourth order, they understand the rest which they now enjoy, being gathered into their chambers and guarded by angels in profound quiet, and the glory which awaits them in the last days. 96 The fifth order, they rejoice that they have now escaped what is corruptible, and shall inherit what is to come;
    and besides they see the straits and toil from which they have been delivered, and the spacious liberty which they are to receive and enjoy in immortality. 97 The sixth order, when it is shown to them how their face is to shine like the sun, and how they are to be made like the light of the stars, being incorruptible from then on. 98 The seventh order, which is greater than all that have been mentioned, because they shall rejoice with boldness, and shall be confident without confusion, and shall be glad without fear, for they hasten to behold the face of him whom they served in life and from whom they are to receive their reward when glorified.
    99 This is the order of the souls of the righteous, as henceforth is announced; and the aforesaid are the ways of torment which those who would not give heed shall suffer hereafter." 100 I answered and said, "Will time therefore be given to the souls, after they have been separated from the bodies, to see what you have described to me?" 101 He said to me, "They shall have freedom for seven days, so that during these seven days they may see the things of which you have been told, and afterwards they shall be gathered in their habitations."
    102 I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, show further to me, thy servant, whether on the day of judgment the righteous will be able to intercede for the unrighteous or to entreat the Most High for them, 103 fathers for sons or sons for parents, brothers for brothers, relatives for their kinsmen, or friends for those who are most dear." 104 He answered me and said, "Since you have found favor in my sight, I will show you this also. The day of judgment is decisive and displays to all the seal of truth. Just as now a father does not send his son, or a son his father, or a master his servant, or a friend his dearest friend, to be ill or sleep or eat or be healed in his stead, 105 so no one shall ever pray for another on that day, neither shall any one lay a burden on another; for then every one shall bear his own righteousness and unrighteousness." .....2 Esdras 7:75

    I am trying to buy your exact setup but it says that the better extractor hose is 2-1/2 inch in diameter and the 4 gallon rigid takes 1.875 inch vacuum hose. how were you able to use this vacuum machine? is there an adapter or am i missing something?

    Sandia extractor kit is over $300. A lot more cost effective to purchase parts and do it yourself. Numerous videos with part list and instructions.

    This is inconvenient, no heated water, have to deal with finding a hose hook up. If you have your own tank and run out of water, you cant shampoo a car? Seems inconvenient, ill definitely be sticking with my new 8070, love it very much, stand alone unit, easy to manuever, not to mention the 210f° heated water i love it

    For the mobile guys with gravity fed set ups they will need transfer pumps to convert their rigid to a extractor

    Just FYI, I bought from your link that went to rip clean.
    Placed order on the 9/9/23, apparently they sell like if in stock, even though they didn't have all parts to complete orders due to "shipping delays" to ripclean.
    So far I feel like nothing is going to arrive. No emails even confirming order has shipped.
    If I cancel this order, do you have other links to suggest?

    When you cut off your zip ties you create very sharp ends. Sand or melt them so you don’t cut yourself or scratch or rip the upholstery.

      Better than zip ties would be some fabric cable ties to avoid that.

    i have a specific question.. do i need an adapter for this vacuum and vacuum hose? the vacuum has a 1 7/8 inch inlet but the website for the hose kit says it only works with 2.5 inch vacuum inlet.

    I think if you have the Mytee , you could have just reused the Mytee head and water line. Just need to find the adaptor to connect the water line.

    what if you just sprayed the seat down, attached a brush to a drill and then used the rigid shop vac to suck up all the wet gunk from the seat, would that do the same thing as an extractor?

    • @Samuelfish2k
      @Samuelfish2k Год назад

      Nope. It doesn’t work well like that. It’s too dry, you won’t vacuum enough liquid. You need to spray water the way the extractor does for it to work.
