  • Adjusting the bed knife and changing blades on your wood chipper will help it work better. Watch as a crappy shade tree mechanic tries to get this Jansen GTS-1500 wood chipper working perfectly again. This video was inspired by ‪@Neighborhood-mechanic‬ and his video he made trying to prevent people from buying this awesome machine. Nothing personal bro.

Thank you. These chippers are definitely a good purchase. Mines ate hundreds of trees so far.

Thanks for making a video on how to maintain it. This is the one I want to buy. I've watched a lot of videos on this product it seems to eat it up the branches. Does it do ok with dry old branches

@@ru42112 depends on size and how old and dry. They will bounce a bit more than the wet healthy stuff. Some of the really super old and dry just turns into dust as soon as it hits anything but the harder stuff will bounce around a bit in the hopper hence all the welding you may notice on mine. I don’t think I uploaded the video yet but I did film another hopper repair on this thing. I don’t regret buying it. It’s saved me thousands upon thousands of dollars on transporting loads of brush.
