Jansen GTS 1500E 15Hp Chipper - This Machine is a Beast!

First time using this modified Jansen GTS 1500E chipper...the 4" chipping unit does a fabulous job with the drum to pulverize all sorts of branches thrown into it. Super happy with this unit so you can see it in action for yourself!
My dad and I modified this chipper to have wheels in the front as well as added a winch to help pull this beast back into our trailer using a custom made ramp.
With this setup we are able to load and unload our equipment safely and be as compact as possible when entering a worksite requiring an efficient and quality service!

Did the same with mine. They are crazy nice chippers - get some 64gal trash cans and you can chip into those in the backyard and not have to drag branches to the curb.

Its really awesome...although I mostly run it off one belt as the other keeps popping off. But it saves a lot of time and chips really good! Love this machine.

I had mine for about 2 years and the engine still working good, the only problem is the blades

does anyone know where to buy good quality blades for this wood chipper? the ones that jansen sells keep on braking

You can try Amazon...my second year using this and so far blades are fine. Just be mindful of the diameter or dryness of branches you feed through it as well as any rocks in debris that destroy the blades. If I need Spares I'll try and reorder through Jansen...just remember rocks and too wide diameter branches wreck havoc on any chipper.

@@JohnFronek yeah i think the ones in amazon are te same that jansen sells, long time ago i saw a coment about good quality blades for this wood chipper but i cant remember where it was , anyway tanks for the reply

I’ve had the Jensen 2000 for a couple years. Very poorly manufactured. The chutes, especially the output chute, are easily jammed. You will spend a lot of time taking them apart to clear them.

At first it seems like a great machine. Unfortunately, after some use, it turns out that it is made of poor material. Jansen is a German company, but the chipper comes from a Chinese factory.
Once again, the performance is fine at the beginning, but the first flaws appear quite quickly. Broken v-belts, cracked steel, misaligned pulley. The steel is extremely soft and you can see this.
The blowpipe also clogs very regularly.
I said goodbye to this machine and in the end cheap is expensive.
