  • This is the trial run of the new compact wood chipper. I've been looking for a compact wood chipper for some time now. I was considering the Jansen GTS-1500E 15HP Chipper. Only down side of the Jansen was that it was in the US and I live in Canada. Jansen did not offer shipping to Canada and it would have costed more.
    Then I saw Reg Coates (Arborist) Post A video with this chipper that princess auto carries, and only cost $2000. It seemed to feed well and have good power so I decided to get one for myself. So far,
    I am pleased with how the chipper preforms. For me, it's perfect. Because most of the jobs I do, only the smaller branches require chipping. Anything Bigger than 3" goes to firewood.

    I think it's really cool that you cut the whole tree to firewood length for them. Makes it so much easier for the homeowner.

    ps, these are much faster than one with a feeder on it as they are pretty slow and normaly ojnly takes up to 10,5cm for a 400cc engine, 12-14bhp models, and in the snow time the oil is cold and the auto feeder will be slower, so this is ur best option for speed and also these take 120mm if not 150mm depending on the model, which is more than most autofeeders.
    autofeeders at lower class like here 13-15 bhp engines have a tendency to often jam with smaller branches, one of the autofeeder ones are pretty much the same on all brands and same design just like yours right here are for those with drum and no autofeeder, and the autofeeder tends to jam so its more work and maintenance and its also, a lot slower, ul be putting a branch in then the guy sits there waiting with another branch in his hand watching the slow autofeed doing its thing, so.

      The chipper works well for what it is. It saves me trips to the dump and saves me from awkwardly climbing on top of the brush with a chainsaw to cut it up.

    Just a heads up, I just bought the same chipper on sale for $1599. They will probably honor the sale price and give you the $400 discount since you only bought yours 2 weeks ago. Sale is on right now.

    If that is a 192 or 193. I changed mine to next size up. I changed my drive sprockets bar and chain. And got rid of them micro teeth and bar. Just cuts somuch faster with the chisel teeth. On my 2 192s and one 193.

    How long have you had this chipper for and how do you like it/ how is it's reliability? I'm thinking if picking one up to use for side jobs. It'd get used about 15 times a year and is just to chip brush 3" or less

      I wish I could answer that question. I just recently purchased the chipper and have used it but once. I can do an update in the future when I've ran it some more!

      @@JesseSullivanRUclips So how is the chipper performance

      @JesseSullivanYouTube  11 месяцев назад +1

      @@egtreesstreet7434 It works great for what it is! Really saves time running to the dump with brush piles. As long as you stick to pieces roughly 3" and under, it works awesome. With sharp blades, it eats smaller branches easily. Would absolutely buy it again.

      There are multiple different companies that put their branding on what is essentially the same machine. Like this for example: www.allpoweramerica.com/APWC420-Woodchipper-Mulcher-15HP-JD-Engine-420cc-Gas-Powered-Chipper-Shredder-2000-RPM-Double-Edge-Blades-6-feed_p_103.html
