It was pretty funny before the nerf when Influence carried the armor strip from Shattering Impact.
I was testing it with my old Xoris build (lvl 180 conjunction survival) and I threw it down a hallway then detonated it the moment the Accolite's health bar appeared on screen- the health bars instantly disappeared and it took me a second to figure out it spawned BEHIND ME, in a different room! The Xoris blast didn't even come close to touching it, just the influence spread was enough to instantly delete it lol
Argonak Metal Auger armor strip with daggers still works, it's just more... finicky. With Saryn (due to toxin lash interactions), it works all the time, every time, but with other frames, sometimes it strips, other times it doesn't. Shattering Impact was never supposed to work with it though, as it only triggers on impact, the Melee Influence doesn't carry over IPS procs.
Do you know if the Argonak armor strip mod affects it?
@@Horvath_Gabor Thanks!
It’s actually really easy to fully armor strip the Acolytes with Shattering Impact. They only have 50 base points of armor so it only takes a few hits to remove all of it Lol
I have HEAVILY misunderstood melee influence XD
That's because it was Buggy as Hell when it first came out. 👀
And the in game description doesnt help either
Man I love the Kengineer, really digs into builds and why they work. You're the reason I love Lavos so much, I can't wait till he gets his Prime, I know you'll have fun.
I love Lavos too! We are a very inclusive club bro. I feel like he’s really misunderstood
Thankfully it should be within a year
People don't play him much mostly because of his tedious farm, locked behind Father's rank, bounties and material grind..
Lavos also has a cooldown-dependant playstyle similar to some MMO, and I guess that isn't what people look for when playing Warframe.
@@jjmah7 youre damn right he's misunderstood, i refuse to play him because i cant wrap my head around his kit lmao
I really do appreciate the visual aids you present during the calculation parts. It really helps for me to understand better.
I've found the prisma ohma to be perfect for this
So has like 100k other people. Lol.
*Wall of toy Buzz Lightyear meme*
Daggers get to benefit from Amalgam Argonak Metal Augur - at the cost of your primary slot, you ccan add a shattering impact style effect to daggers (most notably the Innodem) that procs on the damage spread by Influence and, if I understand correctly, from the electric proc chains you can get from it. It strips the armor from tough targets *extremely* quickly.
Pretty much my Kullervo setup. A slow, hard hitting dagger zaw that sacrifices crit for status (Because Kullervo is supplying the crit), modded for gas and electricity. Nautilus and operator arcane to group, cast his 3 because at that point it's basically a meme to add a whole additional tier of cubic scaling.
This is the core of a Speedva nuke build I pilfered from youtube a month or two ago. That build uses the Rakta Dark Dagger + amalgam argonak to strip armor, apply radiation, and recover shields. Bonus points for the fact that the explosions of Nova's 4 *inherit* the "dagger damage" tag and ALSO strip armor if you land the killing blow with your dagger. Add in the standard "vacuum sentinel" bond settup and it blows through Netracells super quickly and reliably. You'll still randomly blow up if you run out of energy at the wrong moment or fail to recognize/respond to shield break, so I personally don't recommend it for soloplay, but it has been a GREAT tool to help ensure the enemies reach the annoying red circle BEFORE your allies kill them.
@@Fyrefrye is there a link to the video or a build link?
@@nkeyc6795it was Aznvasions "unkillable speedva nuke" ... the title is absolute clickbait, but the build is less gimmicky than I tend to find these sorts of builds. Most of the build works automatically, rather than requiring you to track and time half a dozen buffs and abilities just to make a 30 sec youtube clip of the build "working". I can highly suggest this build from my own play experience. Just... don't expect it to be "unkillable" unless you are able to completely focus 100% of the time (which is exhausting and not my personal favorite play style).
@@Fyrefrye Well... Its not really clickbait if you play alone. It becomes way worse in groups though.
Made a build using Melee Influence with Ninkondi Prime and Gauss Prime and that shit is so fun, I don't even need the faction mods, it hits so often it just melts everything around it.
In other words… it should be really cheap to trade for anyone. The Gargoyle’s cry event really speed things up.
Sped*
You can also just straight up buy it for not a lot of standing at sanctum anatomica
Thanks for the explanation! Was in the stream, but didn't grasp the full idea, now i know what we're talking about.

Yeah, eating Fire Blasts from Exima.

@@Modeus. ill make sure he gets the invite
@@TheTundraTerror silence (the ability)
I've been trying to figure this out for a while now, and a few weeks later from then this pops up!
My favorite Influence builds at the moment:
Xoris. Great upfront damage in a heavy attack build and reliable, but can't armor strip and overkilling enemies doesn't spread the procs.
Falcor. Guaranteed Electricity proc on normal throw makes it reliable, and it can be combined with the volatile bounce mod to make it AoE. Can build 12x combo, but the lack of heavy attack makes it weak to Acolytes.
Dagger + Argonak: High attack speed, armor strip through Argonak Metal Auger, and there are different flavors for it. Gas/Electric Innodem for the most damage and most consistent armor strip. Dark Dagger for near-immortality from shield recharge. Balla Zaw for combining with Exodia Brave and Tennokai for constant energy regen.
Hate: Slower attack speed, but incarnor mode projectiles can also trigger Influence, greatly boosting effective damage, and Tennokai heavies will always have guaranteed and super-powerful slash procs for more annoying enemies.
The korumm trick also works on arca titron, really good actually
As an additional note: if using a dagger and the mod Amalgam Argonak Metal Auger each electric proc on each ennemi will deal damage to the BASE armour to them and to each other ennemi within 3 meter, leading to room wide armour striping
Something to keep in mind, especially for Detonating Glaives- is that the Vigorous Swap Warframe mod is multiplicative like a Faction mod for the Heavy Attack detonation.
If you like throwing exploding discs of death, anyways.
I've been having a fun time with this on the Ceti Lacera and a melee Saryn, but knowing _how_ it works now I'll be able to fine tune my build.
Honestly i wish faction bane mods were just one mod, i know it’s not a massive hassle, but having just a “Bane” mod to not have to swap the faction bane mods would be convenient. I think it would make a lot more players happy than upset
imo they should just replace them with "status damage" since that's their use case anyway
I've loved this mode on my Incarnon'd, Naramon backed Blood Rush/Weeping Wounds Nami Solo, with Tennokai for the fat and free heavies to trigger the transformation. I actually don't have room on it for viral, but I've been butchering netracells/archon hunt fodder with just the electric procs and the slash from direct hits. It's kinda poetic how my first built item has come so far with me in this journey.
Well if you want free viral just use nourish and boom, viral.
My kuva shildeg got a buff when this arcane came out. I love being able to spread huge electric procs from the red crits. 😎
I have a riven that helps me get even more electric procs and faction damage onto a single mod. Then also the tennokai status chance. I'm glad I grinded for the highest electric bonus on it. I originally had it electric for corrosive. But now it's just pure electric monster.
Falcor with Volatile Rebound is a lot of fun. It feels like a true throwing melee build cause you actually want to keep max combo and not manually detonate. This means you can take Weeping Wounds. A charge throw force procs electric, so it's easy to proc Melee Influence. Volatile Rebound turns it into a bouncing weapon that explodes in each hit, so Melee Influence spreads super far. It's not great for single target or acolytes, but it shreds trash. And falcor has high riven disposition. Highly recommend if you're tired of Xoris spam.
0:38 I still have mental trauma from Gargoyle's Cry
It would be interesting to see use cases for some of the other melee arcanes. Exposure and Vortex seem to have the broadest application potential; I tested the Dual Ichors with Vortex to see how well it worked and ended up looking like a full-tilt brawl from a cartoon, cloud and all.
I saw some videos about Syam and magnetic and Gas. You shoot the wave from heavy attacks in groups of enemies, so it pulls all to gas.
I feel like there's a special mention to be made for weapons with innate base corrosive, too. Then you can mod for electric and viral and have viral and corrosive spread as you're chaining electric procs around.
Or the pathocyst with innate viral. You can mod it for high heat low corrosive and throw it through volt shields for elec procs and then use a light attack weeping wounds volotile rebound build, it's fun
Caustacyst - corrosive, viral, electric + Melee influence.
Gauss with this is incredible but I'm sure this would also be amazing for Limbo or any other frame. Subsume Wrathful Advanced for even more damage with those faction mods without the need for a high strength Roar.
I have been having fun with the serro (Pure electric and slash), the Ninkondi (I just wanted to use the funny nunchucks), the rumblejack (Can be quite nice with all that status and electric, plus the finishers are always electric too), and also projectile melee weapons because its fun (oh and the tenet agendus too). Plenty more still to try as well!
I was doing everything according to warframes releases (im currently on zariman's rep and items) and noticed that TheKengineer did the videos for the incarnon weapons, except the felarx
its a member exclusive or something im missing? if not i would love to see a video explaining it, in case there is a hidden mechanic like the praedos parkour speed
I can't help but wonder: would Volt's Shock augment proc Melee Influence?
As i was testing I can confirm: Volt shock trooper augment works with melee influence which could possibly leave room for a mod slot
Through a week of testing, I can tell you that Ceti Lacera and Arca Titron are now level-cap viable weapons. I even brought an UNRANKED RUMBLEJACK into SP Conjunction Survival and wiped the floor. Melee Influence is fuckin wild.
what do you mean are NOW lvl cap viable
they always were
Great. You told everyone. Ive been doing this for quite some time. Blowing up entire cities with the Xoris . I expect a nerf.
I have a riven with +crit +eletric -impact for the fragor prime and ive been using it with meele influence and its pretty effective now ill test it with faction mods and roar
I love the rift and influence is kinda funny fr.
This man really LOVES numbers
With the Dante unbound update and changes to eclipse subsume I'd love to see the numbers between it and roar in a unnecessarily nerdy numbers breakdown.
Sounds like I'm gonna have to break out the Zenistar.
Im using the magnetic melee arcane with the classic argonak/dagger combo with gas. Comfy build
Spread status kills on the titron build slam capacitor creating an infinite loop of slam kills
so i can build capacitor
slam
then slam then slam then slam
like the iinfluence kills build capacitor making titron less annyoing to use
On Xoris, using a toxin mod over the electric one gives corrosive without making Influence annoying to activate because of the force proc electric. Combine with 2 emerald shards for AoE full strip, which will cause the enemies to melt from the electric procs after their armor is gone.
nah do that on the falcor
it has more status chance
and doesnt need to heavy detonate to get electric procs just charged throw
Here's the thing I'm looking at building:
Plague Kripath, Plague Bokwin, Ekwana II Jai.
Exodia Force, Melee Influence.
Condition Overload, Weeping Wounds, Blood Rush, Organ Shatter, Quickening, Boreal's Contempt, Shocking Touch, Smite [X]
Very fast attacking, builds combo quickly, good benefit from both status and crit...50% of status inflicting hits (which is basically every hit) will do 200% of weapon damage to every enemy in 6 meters, and a further chance for Melee Influence to proc on everything. It also has innate Viral for the proc list. I'd love to also be able to put in a Riven for it - I have one - but the dispo on Plague Kripath is so terrible that it's almost impossible to roll anything with stats worth using. Right now, the roll it is on is 56% status chance and 58.6% cold...so for 18 drain, it's several percent worse than a standard 60/60 cold mod.
Unfortunately they nerfed Exodia Force interaction little after melee influence was released.
Another fun Zaw combo is Dokrahm heavy blade with Exodia Hunt. Heavy swords have a stance that has combo with gazillion ground slams, so you keep pulling enemies to your melee influence swings.
@@MrHeiska01 I wasn't thinking that they would combine, but would work in tandem.
Have you tested if the Secura Lecta could proc the credit booster with Melee influence ?
Okay so question: my current setup to run netracells is currently revenant with 2 green shards with amprex, epitaph primer mainly modded for corrosive, and the Xoris with melee influence and condition overload as my main source of damage. I’ve been wanting to subsume Xata’s Whisper onto this build, but what with everything Ken keeps talking about universal faction bonuses, would roar potentially be better for this? I already use Smite Murmur on my Xoris but if amping it higher with a different ability makes that much higher of a difference, I’m all ears to changes
At just face value this arcane wouldn't be nearly as good as it actually is. Thank you Kengineer.
Absolutely busted on zephyr. I don't know why but her tonadoes synergize really well with electric damage
I've read someone saying that electric proc deal greater damage to lifted enemies
Watching this was very tense, for some reason
My xoris is really happy with this arcane
My favorite choice for Melee Influence would be Tenet Grigori. Can have electric bonus, combo timer paused on holster, high base status chance and also nasty heavy attack since it's a scythe
Not sure if this is the correct place to put this, but My diriga procced Melee influence. Any idea how this could have happened? I had helstrum equipped and I speculate it’s the arc coil mods’ doing but can’t see the correlation. I have footage if needed i’d love to incorporate this in my nova build, thanks in advance!🙏🏾
This sounds like a job for my Melee Zephyr + Fragor Prime + electric/gas heavy attack build!
Zephyr for now wants to avoid gas and electric. It breaks tornado damage cap even faster despite them “fixing “ it
@RossKyle95 huh, haven't played in a year. Guess I missed a nerf? Was working quite nicely about this time last year. Too bad
@@deucemoose7852 so tornados had a damage cap of 500k and they switched off was a bug , DE tried to fix it with last update and made it worse haha , basically gas hits cap faster
Wow that's a lot of numbers
So is it necessary to have Electricity be your highest damage elemental effect on the weapon for Melee Influence to work right? Or can I have viral damage be higher than electric?
I still wish for a mod that keeps the equipped elemental mods from mixing so we could do cold+heat+toxic+electric damage with the same weapon at the same time
Edit: with a variant for each weapon type
Is it prova time? It might be prova time.
FOR JOHN PRODMAN!
Can mod prova vandal for corrosive heat and do slams to proc influence due to electric slam , then proc heat all over and detonate with cold sunder deeply amusing especially on gauss for scaling blast inherit , also can do it on ninkondi and a good amount of other weapons. With the slam , arca titron is the best example as influence damage will charge its capacitor stacks then you use tennokai to keep combo up you get some ridiculous slam spam haha electric proccing on capacitor slams for the proc
Wait. No combo counter mods? Also, I feel like the Dorclave will work pretty well with its guaranteed status effect passive. Thoughts?
Another good weapon for Melee Influence is the Falcor - it procs guaranteed electric on a regular throw, so you can build to 12x and not build for specifically electricity
Glaives are like 90% in their explosion damage, doing all that wouldn't be worth it, at that point you can use any other weapon and out damage falcor even with melee influence, not worth it to nerf yourself to get a buff
@@soroushkowsarian3364if you got enough damage than its nice to throw and not have to charge. New play style. Probably can get good damage up to a certain point
@@soroushkowsarian3364 shit that literally only matters against endurance-tier enemies
Methinks i will scrounge together a build for my Kuva Shildeg i just got. Question, if you know, does the electric progenitor kuva shildeg proc melee influence or does it not, cause my current Shildeg is heat progenitor
Yes base electric will proc it
200 percent rhino roar nourish xoris here I come. I’m so excited.
Syam with this melee arcane, kullervo/citrine, and full build, is INSANE. I also am looking for an electricity+cc+md/cd+(not too bad neg) arcane.
Oh, and my citrine has roar in 4 skill subsumed.
I dont tend to bother with faction mods. Hate needing to swap them around.
I'm running falcor with volatile rebound and roar so I don't have to deal with faction mods. It is... very effective.
Just tested innodem with influence on ash 150 kpm in sp mot survival. Using Dante and only killing with his "nuke" was 110 kpm.
I feel like the Ninkondi could work well here.
And I thought that Memeing Strike would be the peak of Warframe brain rot.
It still was lmao
Still arguably was. This needs more work and is less effective.
You also still need to run up to enemy as opposed to slide attacking in a corner which is arguably more brain used
what did u do to the lavos 4th ability D:
In most builds i’ve seen most people mix Primed Pressure Point and Sacrificial Steel, wouldn’t it be better to put the two sets mods for the boost? I get that it would be more expensive to fit two sacrificials but i want to know if mixed is better overall or in certain scenarios.
It is better. It’s just more expensive
you only really need to make that investment if you need the extra crit chance to reach ~100%, otherwise it's cheaper and easier to use PPP
Is this better to use on khora and atlas stat sticks or the corrosive arcane?
corrosive cus psuedo cant use influence well most of them
I wonder how this works with Nami Solo's 1.12 follow through adaptor..
IF you don't wanna use roar you can also usue Volt's 1 subsume with the mod for guaranteed electric proccs without having to worry about it's chance to trigger since every hit will become a forced electric hit
Edit: using Argonak with its mod and a dagger lets you aoe armor strip too
that isnt true
first part
@@noahedenborg4221 how so?
@@kurisu1204 shock trooper jsut adds electric just like a mod menaing u still have the rng of status chance attack speed range and stance combos to proc influence
@@noahedenborg4221ok sry, didn't mean the % chance on the arcane. What i ment was proccing electric on the weapon with status chance.
@@kurisu1204 they mean you have to be careful how your mod your weapon, because Shock Trooper isn't just "you do electric damage now." it basically adds an electric mod to your weapon which can get combined with toxin/heat/cold or absorbed into corrosive/radiation/magnetic
it works fine if you mod for viral and use Shock Trooper to add the electricity
Terraria music? now im a sub.
I'm so looking forward to the upcoming Lavos augment...
Me too, but i wonder would that work with heat?
Because it should in theory add up to radiation damage.
But if this added damage dors not combine with heat, then GG, i will nuke everything with my Nepheri
@@DimkaTsv I'm going to have to test the heck out of different combos, but my gut reaction is that you really don't want your electricity combining with anything so a Xoris or Korrum build would be the way to go with the force procs.
@@Joe90h well, there are other options... Depends on how it works
If it gives timed stacking buff, then you can try to do gas + electricity. This one should be pretty easily doable.
But yeah... Maybe my dream of heat+electricity may not work.
Just checked, it is written like this:
On ability cast: Grant 250% elemental damage and damage type lingers as a status effect to your weapons for 20 seconds.
So, it technically should only add base elemental types, and i assume it forces it's status separately?
@@DimkaTsv The issue is typically elemental bonuses combine similarly to your mods. So if you're running gas + electricity and gain some bonus cold, you're now using gas + magnetic which won't proc Influence.
It MIGHT work in its own special way where none of the elements combine, or it might be that whatever combo you augmented your ability with before casting is what you get as a buff, which would actually be absurdly good. But I suspect it'll be 1 giving toxin, 2 giving cold, 3 giving electricity and 4 giving heat, and all 4 elements will either add to existing combos containing those elements or combine last.
@@Joe90h well, they mention "linger as a status effect" part, so i am assuming (granted, preemptively), that it means that status is added separately.
But yeah, we won't be able to tell until it will be released. It can be both OP AF and complete garbage... Or both at once).
I wonder if you can make a build war , heavy build
love ur videos
oil up im coming
I wonder if this could work with Destructor Prime..?
My Fantastic Rivens for my Destreza Prime or Glaive Prime, etc. are falling even more behind...
I actually I used to prefer the Indura more, would have loved a Prime Version of it.
Yea I'm sure DE will eventually continue nerfing this due to how easy of an arcane it is to farm to do such major nuking capability.
They're gonna take that limbo interaction away from us I can feel it...
When did you switch the intro you use?
Idk if it’s just me, but I have this same build for the xoris and my damage is no where near as high 😅
You need to manually detonate the glaive with the heavy attack mid flight.
what about the secura lecta?
Limbo mains: We found it, finally. A worthy build. Our weapons will be legendary!
If only we could put weapon arcanes on to exalted weapons
I imagine exalted blade would be nutty
Melee influence Limbo nerf inbound
Combine garuda 4 with melee influence xoris or any weapon 😉
amazing video, but still... melee exposure is more consistent and damage raw, even for single enemies/bosses
Ive been trying to make a melee influence and exodia contagion build but have been struggling to find it since its probably just insanely overkill. Best Ive come up with is melee prowess, boreals contempt, organ shatter, sac pressure, sac steel , riven (60 cd, 130 cc, -40 punc), volcanic edge and molten impact. Im trying to min max the ever living f outta this kripath even though dispo and contagion kinda suffer, also using volt shield for elec proc. If anyone else has a better build please comment bc i feel like this could nuke even harder but i dont understand this arcane too well lmao (like interactions with condition overload and exodia contagion)
condition overload doesnt work well, modded zaw for 60 60 electricity with p fever strike and 6060 heat, use volts shock trooper aug to make electricity the primary element and it is working pretty well and combined with his shield it makes it easy to get an electric proc
It's okay they'll nerf more AOE primary and secondary weapons before this ever gets touched
I have a rumble jack riven should I use?
what does it have
What about exodia contagion+ melee influence+ argonak? Anybody try that out yet?
Also plus everything that was said in this video. A true hollow purple?
Going in I honestly underestimated the power of this Arcane...only for me to end up two shoting twenty level 125 Steel Path Corrupted Heavy Gunners.
Any reason you want virulent and vicious not maxxed out? Melee influence feels like it procs just as fast even with electric not being the highest
remember that you only need to proc viral on a single enemy to proc it on the entire room, so you might as well make as much of your status weighting into electric as you possibly can
Ty!
I’m more of a melee duplicate guy myself. Works hella good with swords
Great if you get exactly 100% crit.
@@MrHeiska01 I do! But didn’t realize that’s the reason I like it 😂
Worth building a Zaw with Melee Influence because of Exodia Force, do you reckon?
Exodia Force will only trigger off of targets actually hit my your weapon, not off of the statuses being spread out to other targets. DE fixed that pretty quickly.
That combo was insane couple days, but DE fixed it.
Is it just me or did the kengineer sounds like drusus levarian on this outro?
Also: Tried a variant of this build on Pathocyst with gas+elec. The answer is *_YES._*
Dust off your Arca Titron, Ceti Lacera, and FALCOR boys, time for some fun
It's a good thing this game is so hard to "beat"
WOW
glaive prime with melee duplicate go brrrrr
Nerfed in 3...2...1...
It really suck that korumm gimmick while still possible to trigger Melee Influence, is still somewhat underwhelming because of how small the radius + the slow animation can be
still baffling that the electric shockwave has a forced IMPACT proc instead of electric
I feel like itd be better if it just was just any status effect and not just electric but nerf it to 10% change
It would be better. It would be *way* better, hilariously-overpowered better, that's why they didn't do it.
God I cannot even begin to describe how much I despise the faction mods. We now have so many factions that you'd have to buy loadout slots if you wanted one for each.
Prisma ohma fans be screaming.
