Small addition, steel path cascade is by far the best source of spare arcanes for dissolution. After an hour you'll have between 600-800 vosfar with just the steel path mod booster effect.
Working as intended. I don’t think this was ever intended to be a motivation to “farm” arcanes to convert. This was just supposed to be a way to convert extra, useless arcanes as an alternative to the tiresome process of selling them. And for practical purposes, and for most people, I’m sure on first pass that was 95% steel path arcanes. But I think you are right, if you are viewing this as a farming opportunity then more SP arcanes as an incidental byproduct of farming something ELSE you need is the way to go.

Stuff like this is exactly what warframe needs, connecting content islands while also allowing you to choose to grind in different locations to switch things up. Now you can farm steel path arcanes to reroll for arcane energizes, etc.
it's definitely a system implemented with the intent of recycling your trash rather than a deliberate farming method. it's like being able to break duplicate mods down into endo, you don't farm endo explicitly by focus farming mod drops, that would be insane, but it is still a use for all those duplicate drops that you happen upon.
I actually used it to get arcane blessing for my Dagath and I can say it's worth it somewhat and it uses any unranked arcane which is highly easy to farm since Fortuna has an easy farm for standing
@@theunhingedgamer3762 I had just shy of 3000 Acolyte arcanes, so I used my packs to finish off the Duviri and Deimos arcanes. Years of playing Steel Path, poof, all gone in an instant. Very cool system, but for those thinking the grind was going to vanish they were very mistaken. That said, this is a great thing for the market- make the less than desirable arcanes sell for at least some flat amount, and make the rarest ones not prohibitively expensive for anyone but whales.
I didn't think it was all that expensive. I get a lot of arcanes from killing acolytes. I dissolved all I had when this update dropped, and now I just plan on turning them all in at the end of the week when reset happens
How you view the pricing really depends on how many arcanes you got, how many of them are maxed out, any arcane related content you ignore and how many useless arcanes you got. Someone who runs Eidolon hunts and/or hours long endurance will obviously see this differently than someone who only farms Zariman arcanes every once in a while simply because one will have way more unsellable garbage arcanes than the other.
Something else to keep in mind is that drop rates for arcanes from zariman enemies are affected by mod drop chance boosters (not resource drop chance boosters)
Steel Path Void Cascade with a mod drop chance booster has granted me like almost 1 arcane per minute on average, it’s insane. Only problem is finding people who don’t suck at the mode lol
Zariman and general steel path runs are a very good suggestion since the zariman arcanes are just strong and useful and the acolyte ones you just have maxed out in no time, so its really good if youre looking to max out random arcanes for collection
There's one more angle here. Some of us sat on hundreds of arcanes they don't need and can't be bothered selling either. I have more expensive prime sets to sell and I'm too lazy to even do that. The biggest arcane pile will be acolyte arcanes, but I have abundance of Zariman ones as well, and some Eidolon ones from old days. I'm not gonna farm anything, but I have a plan to round up my arcanes and finally complete each one to max level and melt everything else. The new functionality is perfect for this purpose and usecase, I swap stuff I don't need for stuff that might complete my sets, just so I can claim I've maxed out all arcanes heh.
Yeah also some there's no way I will give em away at the circlejerk prices the scam spammers are forcing the price to and would rather take the chance with vosfor

You don't need to break down arcanes to dissolve, there's a button to show ranked arcanes which is off by default. Higher ranked arcanes sell for a multiple of the unranked arcane's value based on how many unranked arcanes are needed to reach that rank. Equipped arcanes also show if they're equipped when you try to sell, which is a fun discovery if you have multiple copies of max rank arcanes and discover that you have all of them equipped.
@@marverickmercer1968 That is what I meant by sell for more. 1 ranked arcane literally sells for more than a single unranked arcane, there's just no bonus for ranking it up. If it didn't sell for more then you'd literally be losing out for ranking up an arcane.

I never meant to imply any form of bonus but was simply trying to state you can rank up arcanes without losing out on value if you later use that arcane in dissolution. I was also trying to save some time and just wrote "sell for more" rather than "ranked arcanes sell for a multiple of the base value of an unranked arcane". But saving time is clearly moot at this point since people are complaining about my wording and I'm now spending more time clarifying than I saved writing the initial comment.
If you've spent much time at all doing Eidolons, then you are probably absolutely swimming in sentient cores. Max out your Quills rep every day and use those to immediately buy out either Magus Vigor or Vituos Null. It's 3 minutes to pick up a dozen meltable arcanes with mats you otherwise have no use for, and probably in staggering quantities. I've barely done Eidolon hunting and I have hundreds of each core.
I clicked faster than Volt and Gauss can activate their speed boost. I think dissolution is a good edition: one part farming, one part gamble, but you always benefit.
Its absolutely a system you should not actively grind towards, but this seriously adds value to all arcanes that you may or may no longer need. Nothing is wasted even the hundreds of SP arcanes everyone has
Well the thing is it fits into what you are already grinding for and a solution when doing tridolons or zariman cascade with all the useless arcanes the just make clutter. I myself have done so many 2 or 3 hour survival runs in steel path that I have a ridiculous amount of weapon arcanes that no one buys because they also already have a set@@DawnAfternoon
@@taylorgarrett793that's true.. there's also the clan event going on for the next month for eidolon arcanes as well, so if you don't feel like gambling and have an extra couple of hours a day to kill, you can get max rank arcanes pretty quickly that way. In my experience, Effervo with a pub squad on SP takes about 7-10 mins to run at a casual pace, as long as at least two people know what they're doing
@TheKengineer I was too foolish to put down exact numbers, but the day this update came out, I pulled 48 Eidolon Arcane packs, and I can tell you that I got like 3-4 of *each of the Legendary Arcanes.* 4 Arcane Barrier, 4 Arcane Grace, 3 Arcane Energize. 11 Legendaries total. That was about *one in four pulls.* 144 arcanes, 11 of which were Legendary. 7.6%. For comparison's sake, capturing a Hydrolyst has a cumulative 15% chance for a Legendary.
Considering the setup needed in order to even be able to do a hydrolyst, let alone doing one comfortably, and then that having access to them AT ALL is only 1/3 of the time, it’s pretty easy to see why this has tanked the price of Arcane Energize

I had something like 200 of each acolyte arcane when the update dropped. Doing all my playing on SP turned out to be more beneficial than the singular eidolon grind which is timegated. SP farming isn't. Got soo many arcanes finally maxed, we may not know the drop tables but its been a great addition for someone like me and hopefully most of the playerbase.
IMPORTANT: there is an Event at the moment, Gargoyles Cry. if you do an assassination mission in sanctum anatomica the boss gives you 1 arcane and an angel spawns there too. if you find the tomb and defeat the whisper from the tome you get 3 arcanes in one 8 minute run on average. angel gives holdout arcanes and the whisper and the boss give sanctum arcanes. and the event gives you event credit to buy eidolon arcanes too at the gargoyle. its only for 30 days.

i returned with like a couple days left of the event sadly. i saw the arcane energize in there and went "there goes my only chance of getting energize..." i didn't feel like spamming that fight 10 million times cuz i wouldn't have enough time already, and had so much to do from returning after years.
steelpath cascade with an efficient team can earn some of the FASTEST arcanes in the game. as long as youre ok with going against level 3000 enemies, you should be doing this strat!
Not worth your plat/time. Earning arcanes to recycle them to get random arcanes is possibly one of the worst methods to earn platinum. Yup, im talking about platinum, because plat = arcanes. Best method right now is farming the gargoyle event. PERIOD.
Omnia cascade steelpath is indeed insane. You don't need to get to 3000 tho. Got 52 arcanes in about 1 hour (luckiest run so far). That's 12 acolyte arcanes minimum and then RNG on the thrax drops which can be helped by boosters. And you can kill so many thrax. On top of that, you aren't wasting any actual time because you are also cracking relics.
Currently stockpiling Vosfor via new event for when Netracell-exclusive arcanes will become available through packs. Because we either will see a better way of obtaining them in "Echoes of Whispers", or won't see one for like next 5 years.
Melee arcane is ridiculously easy to farm with the current Operation. You can farm them with Mocking/Scathing Whisper which guaranteed to appear in a level the same way Void Angel is guaranteed to appear on Zariman mission.
Honestly, I'm just considering any legendary melee arcanes I get in the meantime as free platinum, not a step towards a personal r5. Melee Duplicate is no doubt powerful but more niche than it first appears, and Melee Crescendo really only comes into its own in longer missions with a lot of setup and a lot of its value rests on DE never making good on their desire to do away with stat sticks.
@@Joe90h I actually only want melee crescendo just so I can free up mod space on melees that I use corrupt charge on, 30 combo shoulnd't be an issue to stack with the lastest ground finisher buff, although anything lower than r2 will take just a little too long for my taste. Selling them for plat now is probably a good Idea, as they'll inevitably become cheaper in the future, so you can buy them back at a lower price and pocket the difference, however it's concerning that they're already cheaper than energize was before the update.
Well.....from all the fosfar that I got from dissolving arcanes dropped from acolytes over the years, I max ranked arcane energize from it. Never thought i would get a max rank energize.
I am close to it by farming the event boss atm. Dissolution was a bust for me so far, nothing really wanted from it but at least those Primary X and Secondary Y from Acolytes that have been flooding my Arcanes for a while had a somewhat useful use.
As someone who was bored of tridolon within 2-3 runs this was an absolute win, in finally have a use for all The steel path and random bounty rewards I have been ignoring.

“Purchasing a pack will randomly reward 3 unranked Arcanes from their list. The possibility of a certain Arcane being selected is based on its rarity and respective drop rates through gameplay means. We want to maintain the integrity of its original acquisition methods in this new alternate way to access them.” That’s on the wiki page for arcane dissolution, doesn’t this mean their drop rates are the same as in game missions? So energise is 5% from an eidolon so surely if there statement is correct it’s 5% from the pack too
The really nice thing about this new system is that it's a great way to get rid of all those useless steel path arcanes (merciless, dexterity, deadhead) that just pile up after a long time of doing Steel Path. I converted ALL of my spares into Eidolon packs, and got 3x energize and 2x grace! Considering they were just taking up space in my inventory previously, that's an incredible deal!
As someone who is a completionist with warframe, although not the most successful with the rate of meaty updates, this new system is a godsend and i wish i had known it was going to happen before converting all my duplicates into a paltry amount of endo. I loathe doing eidolon hunts but it's content im considering more and more every day. and this system makes me feel alot more open to doing it since my junk rewards are just more opportunities for a reroll.
Thanks for your work as always, I just cleared the quest of new(old?) Loid and got 5.5k vosfor just with Acolytes duplicates, so I tried 4 rolls on the eidolon pack, got an arcane Bless at 1st, then 2 energize at 4th pulls. I don't know if it's just luck, but I think for now, rates are approximately the same for each tier of arcanes
Thanks to this i finally maxed almost all the arbitrations arcanes, since i already had the most important eidolon ones from Scarlet Spear and Orphix Venom, now i just need to work on duviri and pick up a few stragglers from various other sources.
I dissolved every single acolyte arcane i had and rolled around 20 packs. Got two energize, two grace, two guardian, and a longbow sharpshot, plus some golds I didn't have. I don't run eidolons at all so, frankly, I'm over the moon.
The main thing is players who previously couldn't think of trying arcanes can now actually try them now! Finally can finish some of my builds after years
I did this because I hated farming Mirror Defense for those Deimos Arcanes a few weeks ago and for some Arbitration Arcane's that never seemed to drop for me. LOVE this system!
I just calculated that if I convert all my intact cores to exceptional ones, my total collection will yield about 21k vosfor. It'll take nearly 5 months to do it due to daily standing cap though.
Personally, I just melted down the massive pile of Acolyte Arcanes and other useless spares, got my Secondary Outburst, and I'm happy. Really, I think that's how the system is meant to work: getting rid of Arcanes that have literally zero value. and getting some of what you want.
You know, you don't need to Break down the Arcanes before you dissolve them, you can just click the "Show Ranked" box at the bottom Right that lets you Dissolve Ranked ones, it also has the neat side effect of letting you sort by name so you know which ones you've got maxed out right next to your Unranked ones so you know it's OK to Dissolve the smaller ones or not. (Funny thing is, the button is on Screen while TheKengineer is Saying that you can only Dissolve Unranked ones)
In murmur assasinations the arcanes are guaranteed when you kill the boss, they just get glitched and spawn like 10-15 meters in the air when the boss dies during some animations.
I mean I get them 100% of the time from the book boss and the assassination and I have done probably like 50 to 60 runs so far. the only time i missed some is when the update came out and they were getting stuck in the walls. @@TheKengineer
Before the update rolls out, i bought a TON (about 630p worth) of primary/ secondary deadhead, merciless, and dexterity because DE announce that this feature is gonna come out. Upon update, i dissolve all those arcanes and bought 144 packs of eidolon arcane packs and only got 9 arcane energize. With the addition of gargoyle's cry + this arcane gambling, i would say its cheaper buying them normally from wfm rather than dissolving arcanes (unless youre a lucky boi then gamble away). ps: by the time im commenting this, arcane energize is worth 30-40p each, meaning if i were to buy it normally i would only need 360p to get 9 of them. Kinda sad i lost some value there but im happy seeing those arcane energize hoarders cries and saying DE RUIN the market prices etc. 😂😂😂
Was definitely waiting for a video like this to pop up to talk about where to farm up arcanes if we were feeling like spending money towards getting arcanes. Mind you, I don' know if the recent event would be seen as the better option at the moment, but I do feel like I want to try and go a bit ham on this to see if I can speed up the farming just a bit (that and you can never go wrong with expanding your collection). The only concern now will be to see if we see those drop rates soon if that will be kept on the down low. Going to be a particularly busy Christmas season for some players to try and get the most they can out of these next few weeks.
It is funny to me watching TheKEngineer playing Lavos , while also remembering him talking about why he likes Lavos so much, when KnightmareFrame has released a "tier list" today where he ranks Lavos near the bottom, just one spot above Inaros with the comment that Lavos is "useless". Always funny to see these highly subjective "tier lists" and then seeing other RUclipsrs opinion drastically differing. As to the video, highly informative and unlike many other Warframe RUclipsrs very objective which is why I like this channel the most of all Waframe RUclipsrs.
That’s because KMF does nothing but run meta slavery and Lavos can’t use energy to shield conversion for shield gating. He’s a solid frame for normal content but that doesn’t generate clicks like RED CRIT IMMORTAL DAMAGE CAP BUILD LEVEL 5000+. Level cap isn’t even hard, just use an invisible frame of choice or Revenant or bring some friends to reduce aggro. Pig easy 🙄

What about the latest Effervo speed runs? 1 guaranteed melee arcane, 1 possible angel arcane and another one if you find the book boss and you get the grotesque corrency to actually target buy the one you need. You can finish a run in 6-7mins so it should be giga worth it
I like getting duviri arcanes from him, especially with the gargoyle event going on that allows you to buy all the eidolon arcanes and although it may not be as efficient as some other methods I like doing long steel path relic runs
warframe is so amazing, so many mission types if you don’t like some then you almost never have to even play/touch it cause plat (free to trade) and now arcanes being easier/cheaper, super nice to be able to just stick to the game mode/mission types you love

Hello I’m from the future, so an update called Jade Shadows will drop. And with that update a new game mode called Accession will release. In this game mode, you can summon a boss called Sister of Parvos. Upon killing this boss you are guaranteed an arcane drop. Use this mission to get you arcanes. Good luck on the gambling.
Hey @TheKengineer a very high possibility for those drop tables to be not released yet is very reasonable I personally think Digital Extremes is performing a background Analytics Survey based on player behavior Data meaning they are weighing the player behavior based on real world usage and decision making resulting in often tweaks to the drop tables until a certain % of very-high play-rate player-base gets the loot in their accounts they won't stop making tweaks to the drop tables until players feel it's worth putting farming efforts into those specific grinds!! Basically they are not the devil they just want to make it (not completely hopeless to acquire) unlike some things in this game that are still half platinum only acquired efficiently!!!
A r5 acolyte arcane now can sell for 30-50plat on market, but heres the thing, why not just sell it and buy a r0 arcane......... With the drop in prices, even energize is like 30-40 per r0, why gamble with the packs......

10 year vet here, let me give you my advice (take it or leave it): Every day I go to Cetus, Fortuna and Zariman and get 12 arcanes in total in less than 5 minutes (because I have tons of fishes, minerals and sentient cores to trade). Since Im farming gargoyle cry event (and you should be doing too), im farming zariman voidolumes as well by killing angels and they also drop arcanes as well. Dont waste time sniping arcanes, farming standing, or other stuff, there will be plenty of time for that. Focus on event until jan 15, then sell "hot arcanes" once you maxed yours ASAP. Wait and sell Arcane Energize you farmed during this evenr in 5 months and buy whatever arcanes you need and recicle all those trash arcanes you dont need. Once event ends continue leveling your standing on Cetus, Fortuna, Quill Onko and Zariman every day (via trading stuff, not bounties or missions) until you ran out of resources that you could trade for standing (fishes, minerals, etc). Once you ran out materials for standing on fortuna, cetus, etc... dont bother at all about this system and earn plat in efficient ways and buy arcanes you need from players. PLAYING THE EVENT IN SP IS THE MOST EFFICIENT WAY to earn plat atm. Plat = arcanes Recycle system = turn useless arcanes and materials from cetus, zariman, fortuna, etc into random arcanes. Took me 5 minutes to sum this entire video. Dont waste your time doing silly math.
Honestly, right now, I would focus on farming Gargoyle's Cry out to get Arcane Energize while we still have a chance to. I'd rather do three and a half runs of assassinate per one arcane than hit the lottery, waste 30+ arcanes to hopefully get Loid to drop *ONE* of them.
You can also do Void Cascade mission type on the zaramin for a pretty solid chance at arcanes because of the amount of thrax that come... also affected by mod drop chance booster but they are also very ez to kill in groups.. I was able to get about 25 arcanes in 1 hour and that was without a booster. Each arcane sell for 22 each and if u get lucky or bring a booster you could possibly get 10 packs an hour.
I found this all last night, dissolved like 10 max ranked Primary/Secondary arcanes I had dupes of, along with some of the lesser valued arcanes, and got like 90~ packs of the Eidolon ones. NOT A SINGLE ENERGIZE. 90 packs, not one Energize. Two barriers, three Aegis, a lot of Arachne, a couple of Guardian and Grace, no Energize. It definitely feels like DE knows that's the one most players want.
8:18 the reason they’re not dropping the drop rate is because I got 4 arcane energize from like four packs they’re still tinkering with them you can get some very good drops. I was able to upgrade my arcanes guardian by arcane ultimatum, my arcane agries, my arcane victory just because I had a bunch of unwanted arcanes at the time, and I started farming some arcanes and got even more from the situation. The drop rate I can confirm our very good I have spent over 5000 Vosper it’s worth your time they’re not releasing it because they’re still messing with it because the drop rates are ridiculous right now but they’re probably gonna Nerf it later so use it while it’s available
I have done some number crunching by collecting info from Reddit users. I've compiled about a thousand packs worth of Eidolon Arcanes and the drop chance for the legendary ones seems to trend between 1.8% and 2% per pull with 3 pulls per pack with them all seemingly the same drop chance. That's about a 5% chance per pack to get the one you want.
Just spent a few days grinding SP Effero and just made my own r5 energize On top of the current event, sp Effero drops 1-3 arcanes per run if you take angel and hunt whisper and they dissolve nicely. It's nice because there isn't a gimmick. Just whack the enemies with big gun.
Cool to see so many new ways to farm arcanes, I think I was prepping gear for eidolons 8 years ago b4 i stopped playing, ill probably still try eidolons now that im back, at least after I finish this week long farm for this fucking mech im almost positive ill hardly ever fucking use
I have a feeling that DE came up with the idea of dissolving arcanes because they realized how many hours of farming you have to do to get all the arcanes, plus it revalues Syndicates and content that had already become irrelevant. I suppose this is a win-win situation because with this veteran players can use the arcanes they have duplicates to get others that are useful. And new players will be able to obtain a key piece for builds faster without having to depend so much on RNG for Arcane Tanker to appear in Arbitration, for example.
In short they are aware the community is good at math so don't give them the numbers 🙄. As always appreciate all the work you've gone to bud so thumbs up for this video. Will just treat this as a way to mix and match content for vosfor to stem singular content boredom.

For zariman missions what about void cascade with a mod drop booster? I figured if you were going to farm arcanes on there that would be the most profitable option.
Once you get rid of all those duplicate arcanes (steel path ones, etc) this is just a system to get arcanes from useless resources from old syndicates just as Quill Onko, Fortuna, Cetus, Zariman, etc. Now I enter every day to every syndicate, deliver my daily cap of resources and get ~3 arcanes per syndicate. Until I ran out of resources (fishes, sentient cores, minerals, etc) this is just an indirect way to earn some extra platinum.
Well an initial thought here is that the value of old news R5 arcane like acolyte drops will go up because some players stocks will likely be getting dissolved. I use to occasionally sell a R5 primary deadhead for 15 plat cause I had no use for the 100+ saved. Over time should be able to make sales go up two to three times on a low end of 15p. Some passive platinum income for older players if a new player base grows.
I look at dissolution as an absolute win. I trade if I have to but I don't like to. I have a lot of arcanes from steel path that I'm pretty sure everyone else has way too many of also. so they're not getting traded away anytime soon anyway. that's basically free vosfor.
Well if you were to use various standings for arcanes then toy could formulaicly have a run for standing that would give you a pack a day. You're limited in standing per faction each day but if you maxed your standing and bought arcanes from each faction then you could possibly get enough vosphor for a pack a day
As I see this, don't farm specifically for Vosfor, just play the game in Steel Path and do the Arcane farms that you need and dissolve any leftover arcanes you have.
You could just SELL the arcanes you don't want and then BUY the arcanes you do want. But for people who love to gamble, this is it. This is the content they needed
so just a little information to help everyone understand the chances of getting the rarer arcanes. I took 5 different test each with 2600 vosfor giving me 13 sets of 3 different arcanes Each time, For a grand total of 195 new arcanes from vosfor. Here is what I have found. Out of 195 new arcanes I received (15 grace) (15 guardian) (15 strike) (20 fury) (0 energize) with these being my target. As for other arcanes it seemed I received quite a bit of fodder (trash), If I were to just take those numbers into account then my results are as follows, (grace, guardian and strike almost 7% DR) (fury almost 9% DR) and finally energize since 0 probably isnt the answer I'd say it falls around the 0.01 as in total I dissolved almost 600 arcanes and never recieved an energize id say if you have the spare arcane and have no plans for them the sure why not dissolve, but do not do so thinking you are going to get the arcanes you want especially arcanes in the legendary category this is more of an arcane dump for players who have tons and want to make an irresponsible gamble, or for those players looking to make a little plat from the mid tier arcanes. I bought 109 packs from Arcane Dissolution, I did 10 packs at a time, and every 10 packs I'd get 1 or 2 legendary Arcanes... I managed from r0 to get Energize, Barrier, and Grace around r2 each with an odd arcane or two unable to hit r3, with Arcane Grace though, it was the one to appear for me more often reaching r4 after 109 packs opened. I'd say fro drop rates: Common = 50-60% Uncommon = 25-30% Rare = 15-20% Legendary = 10-15% These are speculation based on the amount of packs I have purchased, at times I would get 3 Legendaries per 10 packs so drop rates are threading a fine line of vagueness
I have a simple solution just don’t farm these arcane packs as de will most likely reduce the cost from 200 to 100 after they realize how bad the grind is
I dissolved all my acolytes arcanes and bought 42 Duviri pack. It feels so good to change those extra arcanes into something actually I actually want, even if just for my collecting addiction. Sadly Tyana Pass arcanes are not one of the packs, but I will have to farm 2 Citrine anyway plus they can be traded, so I will get them eventually. (I did the same with Voruna... It took me so long to farm it all :( ) Edit: as someone pointed out, Tyana Pass arcanes are included in Necralist pack. It's not worth it for me, but it's something.
The Tyana Pass Arcanes were thrown into the Necealisk Arcane Pack since Otak sells them... Just like the Lua Conjunction Arcanes were Thrown into The Zariman Pack because Yonta Sells them. The only Arcanes with no Packs are the Melee Arcanes and Plague Star Arcanes. 👀

People can also buy arcanes from Onkko as extra source of vosfor. There are some ways to get eidolon cores so it doesn't have to be eidolon hunt, but hunters probably have so many they would never run out of them. However, they are not very valuable. On L3 rank my standing limit is 32500. For this I can buy 13 cheapest arcanes, 12 vosfor each. 156 vosfor per day. I Just did that one time, I haven't check yet how much most expensive arcanes are Worth, so I don't know if it is better to buy 3 arcanes for 30k.
Finally, all my piles of merciless, dexterity, and deadhead arcanes have a use. Could make plat but im betting whatever i roll will be worth more than those, or at least more useful for me.
I attempted to do the "Maff" on that line of thinking and my calculations came out to be just about The Same. The platinum I could have gotten from Selling the Arcanes to Buy what I needed was Roughly Weekly or Very Close to the amount Legendary Arcanes I got from Dissolving Them all. That being said... I think going the Trading Route is Better as it Eliminates all RNG from the Equation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Small addition, steel path cascade is by far the best source of spare arcanes for dissolution. After an hour you'll have between 600-800 vosfar with just the steel path mod booster effect.

Working as intended. I don’t think this was ever intended to be a motivation to “farm” arcanes to convert. This was just supposed to be a way to convert extra, useless arcanes as an alternative to the tiresome process of selling them. And for practical purposes, and for most people, I’m sure on first pass that was 95% steel path arcanes. But I think you are right, if you are viewing this as a farming opportunity then more SP arcanes as an incidental byproduct of farming something ELSE you need is the way to go.

Stuff like this is exactly what warframe needs, connecting content islands while also allowing you to choose to grind in different locations to switch things up. Now you can farm steel path arcanes to reroll for arcane energizes, etc.
it's definitely a system implemented with the intent of recycling your trash rather than a deliberate farming method. it's like being able to break duplicate mods down into endo, you don't farm endo explicitly by focus farming mod drops, that would be insane, but it is still a use for all those duplicate drops that you happen upon.

I actually used it to get arcane blessing for my Dagath and I can say it's worth it somewhat and it uses any unranked arcane which is highly easy to farm since Fortuna has an easy farm for standing
@@theunhingedgamer3762 I had just shy of 3000 Acolyte arcanes, so I used my packs to finish off the Duviri and Deimos arcanes. Years of playing Steel Path, poof, all gone in an instant. Very cool system, but for those thinking the grind was going to vanish they were very mistaken. That said, this is a great thing for the market- make the less than desirable arcanes sell for at least some flat amount, and make the rarest ones not prohibitively expensive for anyone but whales.

I didn't think it was all that expensive. I get a lot of arcanes from killing acolytes. I dissolved all I had when this update dropped, and now I just plan on turning them all in at the end of the week when reset happens
How you view the pricing really depends on how many arcanes you got, how many of them are maxed out, any arcane related content you ignore and how many useless arcanes you got.
Someone who runs Eidolon hunts and/or hours long endurance will obviously see this differently than someone who only farms Zariman arcanes every once in a while simply because one will have way more unsellable garbage arcanes than the other.
Something else to keep in mind is that drop rates for arcanes from zariman enemies are affected by mod drop chance boosters (not resource drop chance boosters)

Steel Path Void Cascade with a mod drop chance booster has granted me like almost 1 arcane per minute on average, it’s insane.
Only problem is finding people who don’t suck at the mode lol
Zariman and general steel path runs are a very good suggestion since the zariman arcanes are just strong and useful and the acolyte ones you just have maxed out in no time, so its really good if youre looking to max out random arcanes for collection
Also arcana bounty in deimos since all theroium arcanes are gold rarerity 20 vosfor per arcane
Zariman missions bug out 50% of the time, it's not worth it

There's one more angle here. Some of us sat on hundreds of arcanes they don't need and can't be bothered selling either. I have more expensive prime sets to sell and I'm too lazy to even do that. The biggest arcane pile will be acolyte arcanes, but I have abundance of Zariman ones as well, and some Eidolon ones from old days. I'm not gonna farm anything, but I have a plan to round up my arcanes and finally complete each one to max level and melt everything else. The new functionality is perfect for this purpose and usecase, I swap stuff I don't need for stuff that might complete my sets, just so I can claim I've maxed out all arcanes heh.

You don't need to break down arcanes to dissolve, there's a button to show ranked arcanes which is off by default. Higher ranked arcanes sell for a multiple of the unranked arcane's value based on how many unranked arcanes are needed to reach that rank. Equipped arcanes also show if they're equipped when you try to sell, which is a fun discovery if you have multiple copies of max rank arcanes and discover that you have all of them equipped.
Yep, I was blind while doing that and unranked many equipped arcanes for nothing.
Higher rank don't sell for more, they are the exact combined price of all unranked arcane. A R5 rank arcane is exactly 22x r0 arcane.

Small tip use lua thrax to buy arcane blessing sell it for plat and buy roughly twice as much primary dexterity arcanes.
If you've spent much time at all doing Eidolons, then you are probably absolutely swimming in sentient cores. Max out your Quills rep every day and use those to immediately buy out either Magus Vigor or Vituos Null. It's 3 minutes to pick up a dozen meltable arcanes with mats you otherwise have no use for, and probably in staggering quantities. I've barely done Eidolon hunting and I have hundreds of each core.
I clicked faster than Volt and Gauss can activate their speed boost.
I think dissolution is a good edition: one part farming, one part gamble, but you always benefit.
Its absolutely a system you should not actively grind towards, but this seriously adds value to all arcanes that you may or may no longer need. Nothing is wasted even the hundreds of SP arcanes everyone has
Well the thing is it fits into what you are already grinding for and a solution when doing tridolons or zariman cascade with all the useless arcanes the just make clutter. I myself have done so many 2 or 3 hour survival runs in steel path that I have a ridiculous amount of weapon arcanes that no one buys because they also already have a set@@DawnAfternoon

@@taylorgarrett793that's true.. there's also the clan event going on for the next month for eidolon arcanes as well, so if you don't feel like gambling and have an extra couple of hours a day to kill, you can get max rank arcanes pretty quickly that way. In my experience, Effervo with a pub squad on SP takes about 7-10 mins to run at a casual pace, as long as at least two people know what they're doing

I was too foolish to put down exact numbers, but the day this update came out, I pulled 48 Eidolon Arcane packs, and I can tell you that I got like 3-4 of *each of the Legendary Arcanes.* 4 Arcane Barrier, 4 Arcane Grace, 3 Arcane Energize. 11 Legendaries total. That was about *one in four pulls.*
144 arcanes, 11 of which were Legendary. 7.6%. For comparison's sake, capturing a Hydrolyst has a cumulative 15% chance for a Legendary.
Also worth noting 48 isn't that big of a sample size all things considered.

I had something like 200 of each acolyte arcane when the update dropped. Doing all my playing on SP turned out to be more beneficial than the singular eidolon grind which is timegated. SP farming isn't. Got soo many arcanes finally maxed, we may not know the drop tables but its been a great addition for someone like me and hopefully most of the playerbase.
IMPORTANT: there is an Event at the moment, Gargoyles Cry.
if you do an assassination mission in sanctum anatomica the boss gives you 1 arcane and an angel spawns there too. if you find the tomb and defeat the whisper from the tome you get 3 arcanes in one 8 minute run on average. angel gives holdout arcanes and the whisper and the boss give sanctum arcanes. and the event gives you event credit to buy eidolon arcanes too at the gargoyle. its only for 30 days.

i returned with like a couple days left of the event sadly. i saw the arcane energize in there and went "there goes my only chance of getting energize..." i didn't feel like spamming that fight 10 million times cuz i wouldn't have enough time already, and had so much to do from returning after years.
steelpath cascade with an efficient team can earn some of the FASTEST arcanes in the game. as long as youre ok with going against level 3000 enemies, you should be doing this strat!
Not worth your plat/time. Earning arcanes to recycle them to get random arcanes is possibly one of the worst methods to earn platinum. Yup, im talking about platinum, because plat = arcanes.
Best method right now is farming the gargoyle event. PERIOD.

Omnia cascade steelpath is indeed insane. You don't need to get to 3000 tho. Got 52 arcanes in about 1 hour (luckiest run so far). That's 12 acolyte arcanes minimum and then RNG on the thrax drops which can be helped by boosters. And you can kill so many thrax. On top of that, you aren't wasting any actual time because you are also cracking relics.
Currently stockpiling Vosfor via new event for when Netracell-exclusive arcanes will become available through packs.
Because we either will see a better way of obtaining them in "Echoes of Whispers", or won't see one for like next 5 years.
Melee arcane is ridiculously easy to farm with the current Operation. You can farm them with Mocking/Scathing Whisper which guaranteed to appear in a level the same way Void Angel is guaranteed to appear on Zariman mission.

Honestly, I'm just considering any legendary melee arcanes I get in the meantime as free platinum, not a step towards a personal r5. Melee Duplicate is no doubt powerful but more niche than it first appears, and Melee Crescendo really only comes into its own in longer missions with a lot of setup and a lot of its value rests on DE never making good on their desire to do away with stat sticks.

@@Joe90h I actually only want melee crescendo just so I can free up mod space on melees that I use corrupt charge on, 30 combo shoulnd't be an issue to stack with the lastest ground finisher buff, although anything lower than r2 will take just a little too long for my taste.
Selling them for plat now is probably a good Idea, as they'll inevitably become cheaper in the future, so you can buy them back at a lower price and pocket the difference, however it's concerning that they're already cheaper than energize was before the update.
Well.....from all the fosfar that I got from dissolving arcanes dropped from acolytes over the years, I max ranked arcane energize from it. Never thought i would get a max rank energize.

I am close to it by farming the event boss atm. Dissolution was a bust for me so far, nothing really wanted from it but at least those Primary X and Secondary Y from Acolytes that have been flooding my Arcanes for a while had a somewhat useful use.

We want to maintain the integrity of its original acquisition methods in this new alternate way to access them.” That’s on the wiki page for arcane dissolution, doesn’t this mean their drop rates are the same as in game missions? So energise is 5% from an eidolon so surely if there statement is correct it’s 5% from the pack too
The really nice thing about this new system is that it's a great way to get rid of all those useless steel path arcanes (merciless, dexterity, deadhead) that just pile up after a long time of doing Steel Path. I converted ALL of my spares into Eidolon packs, and got 3x energize and 2x grace! Considering they were just taking up space in my inventory previously, that's an incredible deal!

As someone who is a completionist with warframe, although not the most successful with the rate of meaty updates, this new system is a godsend and i wish i had known it was going to happen before converting all my duplicates into a paltry amount of endo.
I loathe doing eidolon hunts but it's content im considering more and more every day. and this system makes me feel alot more open to doing it since my junk rewards are just more opportunities for a reroll.
Thanks for your work as always, I just cleared the quest of new(old?) Loid and got 5.5k vosfor just with Acolytes duplicates, so I tried 4 rolls on the eidolon pack, got an arcane Bless at 1st, then 2 energize at 4th pulls. I don't know if it's just luck, but I think for now, rates are approximately the same for each tier of arcanes
Thanks to this i finally maxed almost all the arbitrations arcanes, since i already had the most important eidolon ones from Scarlet Spear and Orphix Venom, now i just need to work on duviri and pick up a few stragglers from various other sources.
I dissolved every single acolyte arcane i had and rolled around 20 packs. Got two energize, two grace, two guardian, and a longbow sharpshot, plus some golds I didn't have.
I don't run eidolons at all so, frankly, I'm over the moon.
The main thing is players who previously couldn't think of trying arcanes can now actually try them now! Finally can finish some of my builds after years

I just calculated that if I convert all my intact cores to exceptional ones, my total collection will yield about 21k vosfor. It'll take nearly 5 months to do it due to daily standing cap though.
It does feel genuinely solid on the drop rate. Regardless just farm for good drops dissolve and reroll for better arcanes
Personally, I just melted down the massive pile of Acolyte Arcanes and other useless spares, got my Secondary Outburst, and I'm happy. Really, I think that's how the system is meant to work: getting rid of Arcanes that have literally zero value. and getting some of what you want.

You know, you don't need to Break down the Arcanes before you dissolve them, you can just click the "Show Ranked" box at the bottom Right that lets you Dissolve Ranked ones, it also has the neat side effect of letting you sort by name so you know which ones you've got maxed out right next to your Unranked ones so you know it's OK to Dissolve the smaller ones or not. (Funny thing is, the button is on Screen while TheKengineer is Saying that you can only Dissolve Unranked ones)
In murmur assasinations the arcanes are guaranteed when you kill the boss, they just get glitched and spawn like 10-15 meters in the air when the boss dies during some animations.
I've gone by the DE official drop tables which show 50%, not 100%
I mean I get them 100% of the time from the book boss and the assassination and I have done probably like 50 to 60 runs so far. the only time i missed some is when the update came out and they were getting stuck in the walls. @@TheKengineer
Before the update rolls out, i bought a TON (about 630p worth) of primary/ secondary deadhead, merciless, and dexterity because DE announce that this feature is gonna come out.
Upon update, i dissolve all those arcanes and bought 144 packs of eidolon arcane packs and only got 9 arcane energize.
With the addition of gargoyle's cry + this arcane gambling, i would say its cheaper buying them normally from wfm rather than dissolving arcanes (unless youre a lucky boi then gamble away).
ps: by the time im commenting this, arcane energize is worth 30-40p each, meaning if i were to buy it normally i would only need 360p to get 9 of them. Kinda sad i lost some value there but im happy seeing those arcane energize hoarders cries and saying DE RUIN the market prices etc. 😂😂😂
Was definitely waiting for a video like this to pop up to talk about where to farm up arcanes if we were feeling like spending money towards getting arcanes. Mind you, I don' know if the recent event would be seen as the better option at the moment, but I do feel like I want to try and go a bit ham on this to see if I can speed up the farming just a bit (that and you can never go wrong with expanding your collection). The only concern now will be to see if we see those drop rates soon if that will be kept on the down low.
Going to be a particularly busy Christmas season for some players to try and get the most they can out of these next few weeks.

It is funny to me watching TheKEngineer playing Lavos , while also remembering him talking about why he likes Lavos so much, when KnightmareFrame has released a "tier list" today where he ranks Lavos near the bottom, just one spot above Inaros with the comment that Lavos is "useless". Always funny to see these highly subjective "tier lists" and then seeing other RUclipsrs opinion drastically differing.
As to the video, highly informative and unlike many other Warframe RUclipsrs very objective which is why I like this channel the most of all Waframe RUclipsrs.
That’s because KMF does nothing but run meta slavery and Lavos can’t use energy to shield conversion for shield gating. He’s a solid frame for normal content but that doesn’t generate clicks like RED CRIT IMMORTAL DAMAGE CAP BUILD LEVEL 5000+. Level cap isn’t even hard, just use an invisible frame of choice or Revenant or bring some friends to reduce aggro. Pig easy 🙄

It’s literally only my opinion and many would disagree but it makes high level content a waste of time when there’s almost zero risk of death
dissolution is certainly useful but for some of the more rare arcanes like energize just farm the clan event for the next month
Ehh I had a maxed energize day 1 of dissolution. I had none starting just a ton of acolyte arcanes
most people wont share your experience in that more than likely, clan event is a guaranteed way of getting maxed energize rather than just hoping to get lucky or brute force dissolution@@KorpsyKloun

What about the latest Effervo speed runs? 1 guaranteed melee arcane, 1 possible angel arcane and another one if you find the book boss and you get the grotesque corrency to actually target buy the one you need.
You can finish a run in 6-7mins so it should be giga worth it
Do Acolytes spawn in Effervo Steel Path? If so that's another arcane possibility.
@@TheRealPentiganThey do not. Acolytes cannot spawn in Archwing or Assassination missions, and Effervo is in the Assassination category.
I like getting duviri arcanes from him, especially with the gargoyle event going on that allows you to buy all the eidolon arcanes and although it may not be as efficient as some other methods I like doing long steel path relic runs
warframe is so amazing, so many mission types
if you don’t like some then you almost never have to even play/touch it cause plat (free to trade) and now arcanes being easier/cheaper, super nice to be able to just stick to the game mode/mission types you love
Got an arcane energize after only buying like 5 packs. Gonna go do my little happy dance and then cry that my luck and RNG blessing has been fully consumed by this gain

Hello I’m from the future, so an update called Jade Shadows will drop. And with that update a new game mode called Accession will release. In this game mode, you can summon a boss called Sister of Parvos. Upon killing this boss you are guaranteed an arcane drop. Use this mission to get you arcanes. Good luck on the gambling.
Hey @TheKengineer a very high possibility for those drop tables to be not released yet is very reasonable I personally think Digital Extremes is performing a background Analytics Survey based on player behavior Data meaning they are weighing the player behavior based on real world usage and decision making resulting in often tweaks to the drop tables until a certain % of very-high play-rate player-base gets the loot in their accounts they won't stop making tweaks to the drop tables until players feel it's worth putting farming efforts into those specific grinds!! Basically they are not the devil they just want to make it (not completely hopeless to acquire) unlike some things in this game that are still half platinum only acquired efficiently!!!
A r5 acolyte arcane now can sell for 30-50plat on market, but heres the thing, why not just sell it and buy a r0 arcane......... With the drop in prices, even energize is like 30-40 per r0, why gamble with the packs......

10 year vet here, let me give you my advice (take it or leave it): Every day I go to Cetus, Fortuna and Zariman and get 12 arcanes in total in less than 5 minutes (because I have tons of fishes, minerals and sentient cores to trade).
Since Im farming gargoyle cry event (and you should be doing too), im farming zariman voidolumes as well by killing angels and they also drop arcanes as well.
Dont waste time sniping arcanes, farming standing, or other stuff, there will be plenty of time for that. Focus on event until jan 15, then sell "hot arcanes" once you maxed yours ASAP. Wait and sell Arcane Energize you farmed during this evenr in 5 months and buy whatever arcanes you need and recicle all those trash arcanes you dont need.
Once event ends continue leveling your standing on Cetus, Fortuna, Quill Onko and Zariman every day (via trading stuff, not bounties or missions) until you ran out of resources that you could trade for standing (fishes, minerals, etc).
Once you ran out materials for standing on fortuna, cetus, etc... dont bother at all about this system and earn plat in efficient ways and buy arcanes you need from players.
PLAYING THE EVENT IN SP IS THE MOST EFFICIENT WAY to earn plat atm.
Plat = arcanes
Recycle system = turn useless arcanes and materials from cetus, zariman, fortuna, etc into random arcanes.

Honestly, right now, I would focus on farming Gargoyle's Cry out to get Arcane Energize while we still have a chance to. I'd rather do three and a half runs of assassinate per one arcane than hit the lottery, waste 30+ arcanes to hopefully get Loid to drop *ONE* of them.
Either way... The Prices will Drop and that's when Il Pounce. 😈

You can also do Void Cascade mission type on the zaramin for a pretty solid chance at arcanes because of the amount of thrax that come... also affected by mod drop chance booster but they are also very ez to kill in groups.. I was able to get about 25 arcanes in 1 hour and that was without a booster. Each arcane sell for 22 each and if u get lucky or bring a booster you could possibly get 10 packs an hour.
I found this all last night, dissolved like 10 max ranked Primary/Secondary arcanes I had dupes of, along with some of the lesser valued arcanes, and got like 90~ packs of the Eidolon ones. NOT A SINGLE ENERGIZE. 90 packs, not one Energize. Two barriers, three Aegis, a lot of Arachne, a couple of Guardian and Grace, no Energize. It definitely feels like DE knows that's the one most players want.
Energize actually drops more often when you already have a Complete Set. 😎
8:18 the reason they’re not dropping the drop rate is because I got 4 arcane energize from like four packs they’re still tinkering with them you can get some very good drops. I was able to upgrade my arcanes guardian by arcane ultimatum, my arcane agries, my arcane victory just because I had a bunch of unwanted arcanes at the time, and I started farming some arcanes and got even more from the situation. The drop rate I can confirm our very good I have spent over 5000 Vosper it’s worth your time they’re not releasing it because they’re still messing with it because the drop rates are ridiculous right now but they’re probably gonna Nerf it later so use it while it’s available
I have done some number crunching by collecting info from Reddit users. I've compiled about a thousand packs worth of Eidolon Arcanes and the drop chance for the legendary ones seems to trend between 1.8% and 2% per pull with 3 pulls per pack with them all seemingly the same drop chance. That's about a 5% chance per pack to get the one you want.
Just spent a few days grinding SP Effero and just made my own r5 energize
On top of the current event, sp Effero drops 1-3 arcanes per run if you take angel and hunt whisper and they dissolve nicely.
It's nice because there isn't a gimmick. Just whack the enemies with big gun.

Cool to see so many new ways to farm arcanes, I think I was prepping gear for eidolons 8 years ago b4 i stopped playing, ill probably still try eidolons now that im back, at least after I finish this week long farm for this fucking mech im almost positive ill hardly ever fucking use

I have a feeling that DE came up with the idea of dissolving arcanes because they realized how many hours of farming you have to do to get all the arcanes, plus it revalues Syndicates and content that had already become irrelevant. I suppose this is a win-win situation because with this veteran players can use the arcanes they have duplicates to get others that are useful. And new players will be able to obtain a key piece for builds faster without having to depend so much on RNG for Arcane Tanker to appear in Arbitration, for example.
In short they are aware the community is good at math so don't give them the numbers 🙄.

For zariman missions what about void cascade with a mod drop booster? I figured if you were going to farm arcanes on there that would be the most profitable option.
With a good group void cascade on steel path ~40 arcanes/hr

Brozime opened a bunch of the packs on stream and it seemed like there was about a 1 in 10 chance at getting a rare in whatever pack he was buying
Once you get rid of all those duplicate arcanes (steel path ones, etc) this is just a system to get arcanes from useless resources from old syndicates just as Quill Onko, Fortuna, Cetus, Zariman, etc. Now I enter every day to every syndicate, deliver my daily cap of resources and get ~3 arcanes per syndicate. Until I ran out of resources (fishes, sentient cores, minerals, etc) this is just an indirect way to earn some extra platinum.
Well an initial thought here is that the value of old news R5 arcane like acolyte drops will go up because some players stocks will likely be getting dissolved. I use to occasionally sell a R5 primary deadhead for 15 plat cause I had no use for the 100+ saved. Over time should be able to make sales go up two to three times on a low end of 15p. Some passive platinum income for older players if a new player base grows.
I look at dissolution as an absolute win.
I trade if I have to but I don't like to. I have a lot of arcanes from steel path that I'm pretty sure everyone else has way too many of also. so they're not getting traded away anytime soon anyway.

Well if you were to use various standings for arcanes then toy could formulaicly have a run for standing that would give you a pack a day. You're limited in standing per faction each day but if you maxed your standing and bought arcanes from each faction then you could possibly get enough vosphor for a pack a day
As I see this, don't farm specifically for Vosfor, just play the game in Steel Path and do the Arcane farms that you need and dissolve any leftover arcanes you have.
I dont think this is anything worth farming as such. Do your regular farms for whatever you desire, dispose of your crap. Thats the system really.
Ive just been doing my daily Zariman missions and turning all the standing into Molt Vigors. The slow but 0 effort farm.
You could just SELL the arcanes you don't want and then BUY the arcanes you do want. But for people who love to gamble, this is it. This is the content they needed

so just a little information to help everyone understand the chances of getting the rarer arcanes. I took 5 different test each with 2600 vosfor giving me 13 sets of 3 different arcanes Each time, For a grand total of 195 new arcanes from vosfor. Here is what I have found. Out of 195 new arcanes I received (15 grace) (15 guardian) (15 strike) (20 fury) (0 energize) with these being my target. As for other arcanes it seemed I received quite a bit of fodder (trash), If I were to just take those numbers into account then my results are as follows, (grace, guardian and strike almost 7% DR) (fury almost 9% DR) and finally energize since 0 probably isnt the answer I'd say it falls around the 0.01 as in total I dissolved almost 600 arcanes and never recieved an energize id say if you have the spare arcane and have no plans for them the sure why not dissolve, but do not do so thinking you are going to get the arcanes you want especially arcanes in the legendary category this is more of an arcane dump for players who have tons and want to make an irresponsible gamble, or for those players looking to make a little plat from the mid tier arcanes. We could “brute force” the arcane packs of a lot of people are willing to put their data together and make some decent estimates for the drop tables.
The fact that the droptables arent being released makes me think that we need to start datamining again.
I bought 109 packs from Arcane Dissolution, I did 10 packs at a time, and every 10 packs I'd get 1 or 2 legendary Arcanes... I managed from r0 to get Energize, Barrier, and Grace around r2 each with an odd arcane or two unable to hit r3, with Arcane Grace though, it was the one to appear for me more often reaching r4 after 109 packs opened.
I'd say fro drop rates:
Common = 50-60%
Uncommon = 25-30%
Rare = 15-20%
Legendary = 10-15%
These are speculation based on the amount of packs I have purchased, at times I would get 3 Legendaries per 10 packs so drop rates are threading a fine line of vagueness
I have a simple solution just don’t farm these arcane packs as de will most likely reduce the cost from 200 to 100 after they realize how bad the grind is
I dissolved all my acolytes arcanes and bought 42 Duviri pack.
It feels so good to change those extra arcanes into something actually I actually want, even if just for my collecting addiction.
Sadly Tyana Pass arcanes are not one of the packs, but I will have to farm 2 Citrine anyway plus they can be traded, so I will get them eventually.
(I did the same with Voruna... It took me so long to farm it all :( )
Edit: as someone pointed out, Tyana Pass arcanes are included in Necralist pack. It's not worth it for me, but it's something.
The Tyana Pass Arcanes were thrown into the Necealisk Arcane Pack since Otak sells them...
Just like the Lua Conjunction Arcanes were Thrown into The Zariman Pack because Yonta Sells them.
The only Arcanes with no Packs are the Melee Arcanes and Plague Star Arcanes. 👀

People can also buy arcanes from Onkko as extra source of vosfor. There are some ways to get eidolon cores so it doesn't have to be eidolon hunt, but hunters probably have so many they would never run out of them. However, they are not very valuable. On L3 rank my standing limit is 32500. For this I can buy 13 cheapest arcanes, 12 vosfor each. 156 vosfor per day. I Just did that one time, I haven't check yet how much most expensive arcanes are Worth, so I don't know if it is better to buy 3 arcanes for 30k.

Right after unlocking it, I burned all my leftover steel path arcanes for eidolon arcane packs, managed to pull a Grace and Aegis
I will never consider any other arcane farming more efficient than farming platinum and buying whatever you need.
Gambling in the walls is gonna be fire. Can't wait to get sp and eidolon arcanes in 2 years rather than 5.

Finally, all my piles of merciless, dexterity, and deadhead arcanes have a use. Could make plat but im betting whatever i roll will be worth more than those, or at least more useful for me.
I attempted to do the "Maff" on that line of thinking and my calculations came out to be just about The Same. The platinum I could have gotten from Selling the Arcanes to Buy what I needed was Roughly Weekly or Very Close to the amount Legendary Arcanes I got from Dissolving Them all.
That being said... I think going the Trading Route is Better as it Eliminates all RNG from the Equation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
