No kidding! I'm so bad, if I get a hint of a thought that the food might not be good, I'll ask for a refund or walk out in the middle of my order. I've turned around and walked out of a place right after walking in because something wasn't right.
For this, I would have returned it and not ordered anything else. Also, if I was reviewbrah, I would consider starting a channel shaming restaurants when they're crap. We want to know the location of the franchise so we can boycott them. Let bad places go out of business.

These prices have been inflated for years now. Has nothing to do with minimum wage in California, especially since these prices are everywhere
Sonic is now offering on their $1.99 menu nationwide- a double cheeseburger which can be gotten without the 2 slices of melted American cheese, with or without onions & lettuce, but tomato is 25 cents extra. It's the same amount of beef as the McDonald's 1/4 pounder costing $7-9. The Sonic burger also tastes better.

I’ve noticed when eating out, no matter the type of restaurant, that food quality has declined a lot. I’ve also noticed this with frozen foods in the grocery store. They use cheaper ingredients and it’s not the same.
I know it isn't cheap but try it once. A Five Guys Bacon Cheeseburger. Ask for Mayo onion lettuce (pickle optional) tomato.

Yes. They substitute a lot of bulk, frozen ingredients to increase profits. Even basic things like pasta at an Italian place using store bought dried spaghetti, garlic comes out of a jar....nothing seems to be made in-house anymore. Eating out less and less because of it. Yes, supermarkets frozen section is terrible now.

I bought a vitamix. My kids have made smoothies, shakes, and blizzards literally every day since. And I use it for salsa, soups, etc. my first job was DQ. They’ve gone downhill and the prices are insane… especially since I doubt the boss makes them break down and clean all the soft serve parts and machine each night.
But Dairy Queen is really good.
I hadn't had Dairy Queen in a long time, I got a medium Blizzard for 95 Mexican pesos ( approximately 6 USD).

Mine does, then again my manager is the one that cleans them himself, he literally trusts no one else to do the job properly, so unless the company that makes them does their annual mess up, ours works

Every time I go to a McDonald’s drive through now, they are rude through the speaker, and at the window they hand me a drink and tell me to pull up to a parking space. I then wait 10 minutes and end up having to go in myself and remind them that I ordered something.

The fast food industry has been steadily increasing their prices while drastically reducing their quality, and its been going on for over a decade! We need far reaching voices like yours who give accurate depictions of what one can expect, good or bad, when choosing to spend our hard earned coin.
Even their burgers have too much sugar in my opinion.
I mean its McDonalds, the whole damn chain is a joke show... 5 cars in a line at McDonalds means a 30 minute wait for what barely passes for "food", their ice cream machines are eternally broken just like the spirit of their employees.
Chick-Fil-A can have 50 cars in a line and you will get your food hot and ready in about 5-7 minutes, you get real food with the ice cream your kid wanted, served with a smile and the courtesy that comes with it.

I went to get just a 1/4 pounder sandwich. They wanted $7. I turned around and walked out. Went to Meijer, got half pound of beef, half pound of chicken, baked beans and Mac/cheese. Fired up the grill all for $7.21.

The real problem with places like McDonald’s is it’s really impossible to review it when 2 people can order the exact same item at the exact same time and get wildly different things, or in my experience, something they didn’t even order.

im not disappointed in just mcdonalds its fast food in general. Everything is too expensive and the portion sizes you get anymore are tiny and not worth it in most cases.

Had a similar experience at Taco Bell. Had a Grilled Cheese Black Bean burrito, and it was fantastic. The next time it was a total let down, it was like a different product.

I used to go to McDonald’s every week for a Big Mac extra pickles extra sause and an order of fries and a coke. I have not been to a McDonald’s for a year because of their outrageous prices for what you receive. These days I am struggling trying to feed my large feral cat colony and now can’t afford even McDonald’s.
Don't forget to add that the burger patty on the big Mac is so thin it's laughable. It's like a 1.2 oz patty
