A little tip to help with the pepper burn . HONEY ! I live in Tucson Az and most Mexican restaurants sell sopapillas which are a puff pastry you drizzle with honey and it stops the burn and soothes the stomach .
Fun fact: Yoo-hoos don’t have milk in them. They were created when fridges weren’t common, so milk products were hard to keep on shelves in stores during the hot seasons. So it’s creator made a drink that didn’t have dairy in it so it could stay on shelves longer without spoiling. If you look at the label it says “chocolate drink” on the container rather than chocolate milk.
As others have said it is nice to see some enthusiasm around the challenges. I often wonder why some places have the challenge on the menu but then seem weird/reluctant when people actually take it on?!
I think it’s mostly due to how much time it takes away from a lot of staff and most people don’t actually beat the challenge so if I was a cook and spent a lot of time making a huge meal just to be half eaten I wouldn’t be too happy, I wouldn’t even wanna be the server that tells the cooks

@Mr Frugal read the paperback book " I don't have enough faith to be an atheist " not saying you are, and the book is not written to atheist. Easy read, goes into facts of our existence and the number of multiple things that are critical for life to here. And many many other truths even into the bible into why it still here and why we can trust it even after thousands of years. Check it out you won't regret it! Gary.
@Mr Frugal I totally agree with all that. All religions are based on faith and contradict themselves in So Many Ways. Therefore it's better to accept what has been proven and be open minded to the uncertainties of life...
@Mr Frugal Nothing about facts? Really? Just a small sample... and I do apologize for not remembering the places, city and towns have mentioned in the bible, and made look like the bible was false as no known place could be found! Many years later through archaeological digs they had found evidence of the towns mentioned in the Bible. There have been many such places and things found to make known his word. But a harden heart will blind anyone who don't want or thinks they know or have been badly guided. In this I hang up this chat, as I see no point of typing words back and forth. As I said the book I mentioned to read still stands to answer with an open mind if you give it a chance. Take care Gary
@Mr Frugal How old is the earth, they used carbon dating, which they use math assumptions in their software to come up with a date! that not true science! I don't know how old the earth is, but it does not mean or matter much to me! It could be 6000 yrs or billion or so! just look at this idea... The Creation of the World 1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. It did not say God created the world at this time....he could have created it a billion yrs before and it just sat there waiting on God to finish it, if that so true then when science try to date it, it's really means nothing! But that idea is only an idea, but seems to me holds some reasonable explanation. But like i say i don't put this in concrete and i don't rely on mankind to prove to me their shakeable science! Final point God could have created 6000 yrs ago, and i could go with that above man's faulty wisdom!

Another fan got the meet of the year, I'm so envious. That has got to be a great feeling meeting someone you have almost no chance at meeting. Can't imagine how hot that pepper was but that's probably why the bucket came in to play for 1/3 of the people.

Absolutely housed that challenge. Loved the thoroughness of picking up the wax paper and getting every last scrap of food to avoid being accused of not getting the job done.
That looks tasty, but I wouldn't kill the whole thing in one sitting. I would probably only eat about 15-20%% of that per sitting. That's like 5-7 hamburgers right there.
@@hairtrigger8317 ok but this is a challenge video, what’s the point in saying you wouldn’t eat it all. Obviously in a normal scenario you wouldn’t eat it all.
@@BeforeThisNovember Never said I would be competing in the challenge itself. You can order the sandwich and not compete. I wouldn't want to fast the day before and the day after.
That episode of The Simpsons with the big sandwich is one of the best episodes of all time. My favorite line was when he asked Marge for a minute alone with the sandwich and when she asked “are you going to eat it?”, the way he says “yes” always cracks me up. Thanks for reminding me of that and awesome video by the way!! You are a beast!!!
I grow my own habaneros and I have never eaten a whole one alone. I usually cut up a whole one and divide it between 4-6 rice, cheese and bean burritos. This guys legend continues to impress me.
You will find that over time, the more chillies you eat, the faster you build up a tolerance to the heat :) If you suffered thru the pain of eating them whole a few times, suddenly they become more and more mild, and you will be chasing the heat constantly growing hotter and hotter each season. Then eventually even carolina reapers become fairly hot but not too bad 🔥 I find i have to stop eating chillies for months at a time just to lower my heat tolerance because i absolutely love the burn 🙈🤣
@@jamie.miller.inspiring I have a few tubes of terror and I hold the record at my job for the most peanuts, 5 bahahahahahaaa. I’m going for 8 tomorrow. I eat one or two a day and it is getting easier. The euphoria you get from spicy food is something else.
I love how Mr. Beard beats these challenges way before the time limit. I know that habanero pepper was strong but you still did a great job in defeating this challenge w/record time!!
The fact that he was more afraid of the pepper than the sandwich. Damn. Hey new watcher. Love your challenges. You basically look like one of my best friends but can eat a lot.
This was a great video! The cook seemed class, the fan on cam asking for an autograph, the delicious looking food and the chilli finisher. Great one dude 🤟
Yeah we have a cheap takeout kebab place around here with a kebab pita and the roll, both come in 2 versions, same meat from skewer in both, but one has factory dressing, factory cheap bread, etc and is at a lower price point, where the other has a homemade dressing (you can tell) and homemade bread baked in the stoneoven. Night and day, but some Mon-Thu's you just want a meal to get full and some days you wanna splurge that $3 more for the quality product.
As one who loves the heat and especially habanero peppers, using milk or other liquids only spreads the oils faster. The real heat is in the seeds, using some bread for a lightly chewed pepper sandwich might help. I would have saved the fries for after too. Sorry you had to suffer, but another great challenge meats its match!
I don't know how this one slipped by me but *MAN* am I glad it came back around! That chef is so proud of his food and restaurant! Great video! I never mess with raw habaneros... Here in California we access to some spicy food! My brother tells a funny story about how he ordered some freshly made habanero sausages and asked for them "extra hot". He said they burned like hell going down but that's not where the story begins. The next day he had to drive to Reno (about six hours) on a business trip. About half way he had the horrible urge to use the restroom. The closest thing he could find was a McDonalds. He said the pain was so horrible, he was shaking and sweating like he was dying. While sitting on the porcelain throne he said at one point he started hallucinating from the pain and pulled all his clothes off in the stall just trying to cool off. He described it as a liquid fire of death... hahaha
In the UK it used to be sort of traditional to have an Indian curry after a heavy night at the pub. A lot of very drunk men (including my dad) would go in and challenge the cooks to 'make it like you have back home'.... with similar spicy, toilet-inducing results! Don't mess around with what you don't know :D

If you're Joe Dirte, you should be telling people to practice falling down since you'll be right over
Fun fact (I’m not tryna sound condescending) but I already knew that and I’ve been tryna tell people this for years
Thank you! That is a fun fact.

@Mr Frugal if it's true...and it is! now is the time to hear!
The Creation of the World
1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

I grow my own habaneros and I have never eaten a whole one alone. I usually cut up a whole one and divide it between 4-6 rice, cheese and bean burritos.
This guys legend continues to impress me.
You will find that over time, the more chillies you eat, the faster you build up a tolerance to the heat :)
If you suffered thru the pain of eating them whole a few times, suddenly they become more and more mild, and you will be chasing the heat constantly growing hotter and hotter each season.
Then eventually even carolina reapers become fairly hot but not too bad 🔥
I find i have to stop eating chillies for months at a time just to lower my heat tolerance because i absolutely love the burn 🙈🤣

As one who loves the heat and especially habanero peppers, using milk or other liquids only spreads the oils faster.
That's a hilarious story...hahaa
