HP - you should do more videos in this format. Shoot your video without any previous experience or study of the pedal, explain everything with certainty (even if you are wrong), and edit in post all the corrections. I was rolling. Very entertaining.

This lil dual purpose of unit is chock fulla the warbley wonderment of modulation and just enough space to let the Pimpy Diamond wipe its glimmering sparkle across the walls of the halls.
I thought the uni vibe was made to re-create the distortions caused by poorly received a.m. radio signal? Maybe that was something else my memory is not to be trusted.
I never cried at a Henning video, but I cried hard at this one, my marriage is on the rocks these days and I cant tell you how much music serves me in these times and this song is wonderful you great people! 5:52
@@idiotburns There's boutique fuzzes using LEDs transmitters and receivers here on RUclips. Synthy sounding. There are send/receive audio isolation chips to eliminate any chance of electrocution
What comes standard on a Vibrolux, a nice Vibrato and Spring Reverb, you kinda lose out on with a whole bunch of amplifiers like my Stereo Power amps. Sure I have some great metal sounds now but I really missed that Fender Lux and went WAY out of my way to get it again. This pedal seems to fill that void very nicely. Not all amps have this basic feature. My Vibrato is very thumpy, you can hear it thumping away and the wave form it produces is massive. This pedal doesn’t seem to have that intensity, which I’m sure most people like. Most people don’t like the thumping, but you can’t hear it in a mix. This Reverb is nice and wet, common to Fenders is that swampy Reverb. This does that very well. It doesn’t sound like a plush digital reverb, it’s not particularly hi fi Eventide or Bricasti, it sounds like an amp Reverb. Good pedal for people who miss the Fender mojo. Like.
...It is like a Great-White-Shark with "dentures"!!!...There is little-"POWER/DEPTH" to the "CHEWYNESS"...Not accurate for "TRUE-UNIVIBE",...IMO...Peace,my Brother & much-love from Southern Illinois...

Sure, if the reverb is basically thrown in free, but does that reverb add anything that a, say, TC Electronic Hall of Fame 2 can't do? And does this pedal *really* add so much noise to the signal? It's sounding pretty unusable at this point in the video ...
I couldn’t find anything wrong with this review. It was the usual tasty HP42 sandwich; delicious uni-vibe filling between two slices of premium intro and outro. It was all there. My only concern was at the end of the intro when the camera suddenly accelerated into the face of the singer. Was she alright? Did she need urgent hospitalisation? Did you sack the cameraman and report him to the authorities?

Is it just me or are J. Rockett pedal graphics complete garbage? I know it's a small thing but things like the footswitches overlapping the border on the side and the input/output labels not aligning on is not what I want to see in a pedal priced this high. Designing your stuff so that things align properly is not some black magic.
Apparently it ISN'T a very simple pedal and J, Rockett committed gross dereliction of duty by failing to include a manual with the pedal. Bloody Yanks.
Well Henning you didn't do your reputation any good by doing this. How many more gear companies will pay you to review if you mis-represent their products. Imo you should delete both these videos and start again with J Rocket - they'll be very unhappy with you atm :)
