It sounds like a 'win-win-win' scenario if you buy any of these. The difference is like that between three BMW sedans. The Archer is just amazing _for what it is._
Great pedals, but my favorite pedal of their's is the Steve Stevens Rockaway pedal! Its based on the Archer, but it also as a six band eq added. I love it!!
C´mon im suffergin a bit cause i got the silver one ... but also like the creamy lead sound of Beck .. anda the warm air compressed signal of Icon .. OMG
I’m not as eloquent as you and my ear is certainly not as trained, but for what it’s worth, I like the personality of the Ikon’s clean setting. I think the Standard is lacking in character in most of the comparisons. I began to better appreciate the JB as the comparisons went on, so perhaps I like it more for edge and distortion. But I’m not sure I like the JB overall. But I am curious whether your final analysis might be swayed a bit if you were not playing the Paul.
I have the regular and beck. The beck is cleaner. And I think that’s why beck liked it might me only 5 percent cleaner. But mic up playing to a concert. That 5 percent is important. At home. Not a big deal. But. The price is decent 300 $ ballpark

Hi, never understood the hype on the Klon, there are way better overdrives and boost pedals today, for example the Nobels ODR-1, for 150 bucks, the klon , 5 thousand bucks ore more, I´d rather get a vintage amp or a Marshall for the kind off money, no just a pedal IMHO. A 5k Matshall shure sounds better than a 3 knob battery operated pedal, and shure Itś more bung for kilobucks LOL

They need tested individually, not running in to eachother in series, their buffers are affecting each others sound.

I don't think you could go wrong with any one of these pedals. Any difference could be remedied by adjusting the tone stack on the amp.
I have the original Archer and it is a pedal I tend to go to often.

I agree these pedals are pricey! But they also have great resell-value should you ever decide to sell them!
