but it a privte school that get away playing litte schools because you have to be a ginuse or be a really good athlete it not about being scared it a protest of what that school is doing, and how they are seeded unfairly
When I played football we sucked like we held the record for the most losses over a six year period. I remember playing a team that went on to go deep into the playoffs , we still played them and we lost big 63-0 , but quitting was never an option. Not a great lesson to teach in sports , I learned life lesson from football that have helped me in life still to this day.
Eden Hazard have you ever played a sport or...? Every sport wants a good field. Do you want a soccer field to have patches of dirt and holes? No just like for baseball we don't want holes that require more dirt/money and we want to be able to slide on that dirt
one of the most important things my football coach taught me was that if you hesitate during a game you are more likely to get hurt than if you try to go through your opponent
Noah Herrera It's very competitive because Texas football is very unpredictable, you never know what you're going to get. In addition, good teams come and go and other schools rise up. It's like a never ending cycle.
I live in Texas and I've always known Texas teams were always very good, but the people talking it up make us sound like we are the greatest haha. If this is true, our sucky team may not be considered sucky in other states
"It's exciting for me. Knowing I have to complete a challenge like that..." Good for him! That is exactly what sports are about, overcoming challenges. Lot of respect to the Trojans. I understand the other parent's concerns, but if they feel that strongly against it. Then maybe football isn't the correct sport for them. You shouldn't punish one team because they are too good or big.
I play for the Trojans, so reading this was cool. We lost 48-0 but then we played them again last year and only lost by a touchdown or two and we scored a TD on the first play. Those 2 games taught our team so much compared to playing other teams.
There's actually a documentary on HBO about a similar situation revolving around St. Francis Academy in Maryland. Teams in their area refused to play them so they played their entire schedule on the road. Traveling to places such as California, Florida and Illinois. The documentary is called The Cost of Winning
Just some extra info, I went to a high school very close to AMHS. The reason all teams were forfeiting was because their school was allegedly illegally recruiting players to their school, and thus the coaches from other teams wanted no part in that. I'm not sure if those allegations were true, but that was a large part why many teams forfeit their games to not play against them. And also yea they would get slammed.
they are 100% true. If you look at where half those kids are from, it’s not Washington. Most are from Cali, Texas, and Alabama. They’re a private school so they can get away with it because Washington doesn’t have any rules against Private schools recruiting. That’s a reason why Eastside Catholic is so good too. They don’t have to follow the same rules yet they get to play in the same division.
It sounds like they just need to be put in a higher division. My school was AAAA but in the state we have A to 6A so they just need to play against schools who have more students. High School football pretty much boils down to how big your school is because a school of 2000 is gonna have more giant kids than a school of 150 by sheer statistics.

Josh Rivera Houston Cougars and the Texas Longorns are in Texas and the Houston Cougars won a championship....
Centennial is socal would smack in Texas team
When I played football we sucked like we held the record for the most losses over a six year period. I remember playing a team that went on to go deep into the playoffs , we still played them and we lost big 63-0 , but quitting was never an option. Not a great lesson to teach in sports , I learned life lesson from football that have helped me in life still to this day.
Well there is a school in Alabama that is on a 91 game losing streak so hopefully that will make you feel better about your team
Come to Texas lol😂even middle schools will want to play yall😂

The only thing annoying me is that they are ruining the baseball field. USE THE FOOTBALL FIELD
Fartbustersman no

omg they should do a match where the yankees play the patriots
Eden Hazard have you ever played a sport or...? Every sport wants a good field. Do you want a soccer field to have patches of dirt and holes? No just like for baseball we don't want holes that require more dirt/money and we want to be able to slide on that dirt

one of the most important things my football coach taught me was that if you hesitate during a game you are more likely to get hurt than if you try to go through your opponent

Noah Herrera Ikr
Noah Herrera It's the most competitive state in the country. Only California compares.
They probably wouldn't even make it against big names in Oklahoma. Union, Jenks, and Broken Arrow have some pretty good football programs.
Noah Herrera
It's very competitive because Texas football is very unpredictable, you never know what you're going to get. In addition, good teams come and go and other schools rise up. It's like a never ending cycle.
Adiksawinter north east Ohio football is pretty good too

TheFootballstar5588 they play in 2A but because of their recruiting system they belong in 3A
Kannon I agree, gonzaga prep plays in 4a when they probably could play in 2 or 3 for their size.
Texas might have the biggest football players but Florida has the most athletic football players
Shout out to the coach at 4:17 for not forfeiting and teaching his boys the proper way
I live in Texas and I've always known Texas teams were always very good, but the people talking it up make us sound like we are the greatest haha. If this is true, our sucky team may not be considered sucky in other states
Yeah I think that Texas teams are a little better then average

Never heard of this team, must not be that Great. Why not play Bishop Gorman, IMG, Mater Dei, De La Salle, Booker T. Washington, Long Beach Poly.
DoNKeY
Please don't ever say Booker T they are not even a top team in Oklahoma

I would literally disown my son if he refused to play a another high school football team because they looked too big...
Was the coaches decision
There's actually a documentary on HBO about a similar situation revolving around St. Francis Academy in Maryland. Teams in their area refused to play them so they played their entire schedule on the road. Traveling to places such as California, Florida and Illinois. The documentary is called The Cost of Winning

@@sacramentokingswillrise7525 bro why are so offended 😂

"Its like puting a VW beetle up against a pick up truck" 😬
It sounds like they just need to be put in a higher division. My school was AAAA but in the state we have A to 6A so they just need to play against schools who have more students. High School football pretty much boils down to how big your school is because a school of 2000 is gonna have more giant kids than a school of 150 by sheer statistics.
6 players over 250 😂😭 my team has at least 12😂🤷♂️
