One of my buddies from Fury just got back there after a contract in Alaska before the Poland trip and said it’s WAY more relaxed there. I believe he’s a PSG now but I can’t remember which company he’s in. He said it’s a totally different world from when we first got there in 2013. I’m happy for you though, I’m glad to hear it’s getting better.lol
@@anthonysmerdon44 I haven’t talked to him in a few months but last he told me, he was thinking about going for the Scout PSG job. We deployed together back in 2014 but no CIBs. If he is tabbed, Pathfinder and JM qualified, and has an EIB, then we’re probably talking about the same guy lol.
Great commentary on the field vs. combat apparel for crye precision especially the CSM story. Wearing that stuff really personifies the phrase, “only do what your rank can afford”. Hah!!!
I have the army custom field pants in 34R. They fit perfect. Not baggy, but definitely roomy . The leg bottoms are wider compared to old woodland bdu 's but they still sit right on your footwear
I am curious though on one thing. Did you get the field shirt sewn up at one of the Fort Bragg sew shops and they knew where to place all the nametapes and rank? For me it looks like it would be a challenge on where to place all that stuff as it’s a uniform that doesn’t conform to AR 165-1. Still looks good and functional though.
Sean Kavanagh no I didn’t get it sewn up there, I just showed the people where I wanted the name tapes and rank, they pinned it on, then sewed it later! Came out great
I'm in the Guard and I find the Crye uniforms to be the best. However, the tops are something I doubt would go over well in garrison due to those two velcro patches. I do wear field trousers as they are better than the issued ones. I have never had anyone notice I was wearing them either.
currently in 1-508PIR and just wore a G3 top for a week straight, got more compliments than anything from higher-ups. times change i suppose

Do you wear a standard blouse with your crye pants?
@@monkonviagra yes
I would think the outer knee slots on the cryes would be enough to be recognized as non standard issue uniform pants
Yeah maybe the field pants you could get away with. Def not the combat ones.
Are you back in??
Tierra Dyson Yup, been back in for about 2 years now.
What are the AC combat pants ? On Cryes website nothing is labeled AC or an abbreviation.
Erik Kaiser it’s their older generation pant. The one with the tan stretch panels.
Do you iron the uniform, Even though It says not 2?
Nope I don’t
Are crye precision pants more durable than proppure acu
Mr Moe you mean the brand Propper? Or whatever it is? Yes. Crye is top tier in terms of quality and durability.
@@NemeanIndustries ok and yes propper i wrote proppure by fault just now i noticed
@@NemeanIndustries bro dont mind my english because I am from Saudi Arabia so alots of wrong maybe
Good info but never put the actual uniform on you were reviewing.
