I decided to do cold approach, and right away I had friends wanting to deter me away from that. Even after only a few approaches, I can tell that this is for me. Instant feedback, it gets you over rejection pretty quickly, and you just move on and approach the next girl. The first 20 rejections are definitely gonna be the hardest(I've worked up the courage to ask 2 women, I'm working on approaching way more).

Thank you Todd for this. I found the community in 2004 and dabbled until January 2018 at the age of 37 I was so fed up with having no dating life I decided to do a personal 30-day approach challenge, journal about each approach, thoughts, feelings, etc. I based my success on approaching at least 1 woman per day and letting her know I was interested in getting to know her romantically. After 30 days I got a few phone numbers yet these were phone numbers from women I felt were the hottest of the hot according to my taste. After Day 37 I took a break from approaching, kinda got discouraged from cancelled dates and flaky numbers. Month later I was like, fuck, let me start approaching again and journal my experiences. Almost 700 approaches later I'm dating two girls, having the most consistent sex I've ever had in my life, and really finding out this shit works. Every woman I've approached has been a great teacher and I thank them for being the best barometer ever for how well my game is. Funny thing is I feel like I'm not good at game, feel like a beginner every day yet knowing how easy it is to meet a woman now, the abundance has done wonders to cancel out my neediness. I imagine many guys can relate but for me the most difficult part is the very initial stages. I consider myself highly introverted, and I put a lot of effort into improving my intelligence and abilities in any way I can so I'm actually confident I have a lot to offer. The difficulty is the small talk, the very first encounter which makes me feel not in control.
If I can score a first date the rest comes easy to me, I don't have an issue flirting/teasing and being more comfortable and humorous at that stage. Small talk is basically my biggest enemy. I know how to fake extraversion to the point girls are later really surprised I consider myself an introvert but it's only because I believe majority of girls respond better to outgoing/confident at the very start than they do quiet/calm natured.

I'm 58 chronologically but look 40 and am above average looking and way above average fitness wise with a decent job that I like and ok financially position. I also think I'm pretty solid mentally and personality wise. However, I'm still held back by my age and moderate financial state. Also, even though I'm very fit and healthy (biomarkers near optimal), my testosterone is low which DEFINITELY affects my energy, motivation and libido. On that note, I'm on testosterone replacement therapy and horomone optimization and it's just a matter of time before those negative traits are minimized. I'd like to have a go at this type of thing but it's really difficult when you've had basically NO GAME and NO NATURAL ABILITY or comfortability work women your entire life.

All those commenting negatively, look I was thinking the same thing. “Not rich and famous, no women will like you.” “Women will only sleep with the alpha” “women are a waste of time, they just hurt you etc etc etc” i was thinking all of that over the past 6 months. I got burned hard on my last LTR, I had multiple women burn me over the past 6 months trying to find a new one through dating and doing cold approach, I began to hate women and all the hypergamy bs that is true of women. In essence I stated to hate women and think it’s not worth my time. I got so negative and down on myself and women that it just hurt me more than anything. Women won’t change, they cannot. They cannot fully diverge from their biological traits, it’s like asking a dog to be a cat, it’s a damn dog and won’t change, either accept it or get a cat.
