Such a quality video comparing the 2 mics. The pro plus version looks so feature-packed but might wait on the Rode Wireless go, looks promising. Would love to see a review on that mic from you and perhaps comparing the wireless go with the pro plus. 😀

This is so useful. We were thinking about getting a rode. We just wish it was more discreet. So cook that it records at 2 levels. We tried making our own dead cat and it did not work. hahaha

I have the Rode Mic and when the cord messed up I got the Deity v3 pro but I regret it and I want to go back to Rode haha thanks for the video😁👌

Thanks! I would say it is is a great mic for voiceovers as long as you place it very close to your mouth when you talk! That's what will give the more cinematic deep/clear voice over sound!

Are certain types of cats better than others, or can I just grab any cat from my neighborhood? Also do you stop them from smelling....dead. Can a live cat be used if they learn to sit very still?

What’s settings were you using on the camera for the audio?
The default audio recordings + Wind filter turned off. And manual level depending on the environment. Not sure if there are other settings you're referring to.

How does this mic compare to video pro the non plus?
The non plus version is pretty good too, both are great, but the plus version I think is worth the money
Does this Rode video mic pro plus consider a power mic?
It doesn’t require phantom power. It only needs 1/8” connection. It’s been great, we still use it on almost all shoots
