What a glorious voice Dusty Springfield had..
I recommend "The Silver Collection" which has captured all the qualities of Dusty's voice. It's a gorgeous album. Apparently, "Dusty In Memphis" comes a close second so I'm probably going to get that soon.
Velvet Buttah.
Her voice sounds like those women look.
All that cast are dead physically or in spirit.
Dusty was the name of her first album. She was in a band called "The Springfields" a trio. They all made up names --- Dusty is who she because known as. Real Name: Mary Isabel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien
Women were elegant, sophisticated, beautiful and Dusty just rolls it with the 'look of love'.. Brilliant....
The first time I ever heard this song was at Ft. Lewis Washington during Army Basic Training.....Every time I hear this I go right back there. Kinda. Six months later I was a Combat Medic in Vietnam where the life I would have had, ended. I have never come back, sadly...........I have always wondered what my life would have been without that experience........
They had stile and class back then. Something we have lost today. I miss those years.
Sorry.
And some of them could spell with a lot of style.
RIP Burt Bacharach (1928-2023)
Wait what?!?!?! HE RECENTLY PASSED?! How did I NOT hear of this?! Rest in Paradise Burt, you legend 🫀🗿
His simple Smile...Burt had a Great run..
Simply Smile like Burt..

And RIP Dusty Springfield.
❤❤❤❤❤
WOW...some of the most beautiful women of the 60's all on one bet...Groovy BABY!!!
I'll never forget the first time I heard this song. It was 1967, I was 14, and I was in a theater watching Casino Royale. Dusty started singing, and I was mesmerized. It was my favorite part of the movie. What a beautiful performance of this great song!
Wow you’re old.
I've only ever seen this movie on TV (and usually starting at midnight) - I'm jealous that you got to see it when it was new & in a real theatre!
I saw it too in 1967 - I was 16 - and Dusty had the very same effect on me!
@@stephenrivera4382 Same here, I was 18.
Her voice is so smooth... She was such a great singer
Dusty's version will forever be No. 1 in my book
An absolute classic song, by an absolutely talented singer. Love it. RIP to all the writers (song and script) and actors (male and female) who will never be matched in talent, brains and beauty. They came together at the right time.....
This film was made at an amazing time in history. There were still MEN and WOMEN, and two types could get along with each other mighty fine. Oh, those were the days....
This is still the situation nowadays in Russia, Hungary, Serbia...
@@MMAX-db9cvlmao sure, the same Russia where domestic violence is a huge problem hahahaha
RIP Burt - a true legend of popular music in the post war era - The look of love one of his finest - Rest easy Sir while
I say a little pray for you!🙏🙏🙏🙏
Yes, indeed, Burt really is a true legend.
@@janath9118 and hal
Bacharach and David will never be replaced, but their music will live on forever.
RIP Burt.
Starring Ursula Undress as we (small boys at the time) knew her, inevitably.
Dusty was the other Queen of England during the 60s. She was wonderful.
And Burt B. was the best composer ever....
Gotta love Dusty Springfield's voice!
How can there be so many incredible singers in multiple genres all through the 20th century and now there is just…..nobody.
A few decent to good singers, but the larger problem is the lack of quality songwriting.
I'm not even sure that the beautiful women are sexy any longer. Not like things used to be. All of the songs are about evil men. Very few real love songs in the mix. What about the men singers? They don't sing love songs either. No more Barry Whites or Teddy Pendergrasses.
Ariana Grande is amazing
Oh man. I wish modern music, movies or even colors came close to this.
same here, but all I have to do is close my eyes and I'm there! (Except for nam , I miss the 60's.)
Dusty sang a unforgettable classic, stands the test of time
Best James Bond theme ever.
Now I understand why Steven Spielberg chose it for the scene in _Catch me if you can._ DiCaprio had the Car, the suit and then the music. 🎵🎶
In fact, Casino Royale
The music from Casino Royale itself….
Yes..💋
Oh my goodness of all of the great versions of this song, this one in particular leaves me breathless . I have no doubt once Burt left us Dusty was one of the first to greet him.
That's beautiful and _spot on_ ,man.
Hey, Kris... his name was Burt. Four letters. You only got 75% of them right. Oh... you don't like having YOUR name misspelled, either? OK then.
@@paulkane7771 Who gives a toss, you petty little wanker (least of all Beart or Boyt)?
You're the type of geezer, who instead of smelling the roses, would rather smell his own finger after scratching his itchy bum.
Some PROPS. to Hal David, it's always Bacharach !!!
with Cella Black!
One of my all time favorite songs.
An extremely underrated movie...yes it was camp and silly but it was meant to be..it was also classy and very entertaining with some great performances that were quite hypnotic sizzling or hilarious and a general sexy vibe that so few films these day come anywhere close to.. and of course not least such beautiful timeless music as this. I am going to feast my eyes and ears on it again soon.
I'm with you.
Ade Hill Yes, I think that your view is quite correct.
Пожалуйста, где можно посмотреть его весь?
@@puppybreathwales Yes, really great 👍😊👍 films !!!
The whole movie was wonderful!
One of the most beautiful songs ever written. The performance is stunning. I love Dusty Springfield. I don,t think that she ever sung a bad song. This song just melts your heart. Play this to any woman and your sure to succeed in winning her heart.
So sultry and sixties adorable. Sax solo was face-melting. The gorgeous visuals a Technicolor dream of fashions and gadgets. Thanks Dusty and Burt, RIP.
So many legends on this movie and soundtrack! RIP all that is not with us.... Regards from Brazil.
Man, back when Hollywood had talent & glamour. Those were the days…..Gone are the days.
Made in England.
I've always loved this song, especially Dusty Springfield original version. And actually the entire soundtrack is excellent. It might be my favorite James Bond movie.
Casino Royale is rated so badly, but I remember watching this on a grey Sunday afternoon as an 11 year old in the drab late 80s, and it's been one of the most influential films in my life. The story and the jokes are crappy, but the sets, the costumes, the colours, the choreography... and I can't recall ever seeing a scene more seductive than Ursula Andress sashaying through her flat to The Look Of Love. Influential because it was this that woke something up in me and had me really interested in art, visuals and design.
The 1980s were less drab than the late 1970s…..just saying.
Yeah, im sure Ursula Andress "woke" something in you, all right..
'Casino Royale' is sort of the standard example of a movie disaster, but although it's stitched together, most of the individual segments are quite good, especially the opening John Huston segment. And the jokes might be a bit 'topical,' and therefore inaccessible to post-60's folks, but they are actually very good! Woody Allen wrote many of them!
I also watched it as a kid and loved it. The visuals are amazing. Probably best watched under the influence of certain substances. My favorite line: "You are insane, my child, quite insane." "I'm beginning to think she's right!"
dark108x Yes, you are right. I also watched it at a later time on video. I had the similar feelings. The visuals are excellent comparing with time.
Этот фильм опередил своё время, а Дасти непревзойдённо исполнила эту прекрасную песню... ❤
For a film that basically went 'off the rails' and needed 5 directors to get it done it ended up with a lot of memorable scenes! 😀
@neogeomaster no way you can say on her majesty's secret service is a bad movie. It's now ranked as top 10 bond Canon movie by many people.
@neogeomaster I'm actually not that disappointed with OHMSS. Yes Lazenby was his own worst enemy (showing up to the premiere with a beard and long hair) but the movie itself isn't that bad. Over time the critical opinion has really improved a lot. Moonraker is by far a much worse Bond film.
@neogeomaster3027 on her majesty's secret service ...is a masterpiece...you Buffoon
@@jamesrawlins735 If I had to choose between watching OHMSS and Casino Royale ( 1967 ) .... I'd take Casino Royale every time!
@@jamesalexander5623 Me too! My favorite film growing up.
Man, how I miss the days when the world had a sense of humor.
..& class, & a sense of mortality. It's possible to have all 3. Miss that so much. Dusty Springfield singing this song is a perfect example. Class, jazzy, fun, beautiful, relaxing. ... the whole package...
RIP Burt Bacharach. Incredible talent. (PS - add scene with Peter O'Toole).
Питер О'Тул играл Джеймса Бонда? Или какой фильм вы имеете ввиду?
@@Mademoiselle_Opossum Si.Peter O Toole tu un pequeño cameo en la pelicula.
Peter Sellers.
This is outstanding. A real taste of late 60s British vogue. And a chance to appreciate the ageless femininity of Joanna Pettet and a young (and leggy) Jackie Bisset. The film was a crazy mish-mash and a fun outing. And this video captures the eclectic and sport nature of the beast, so to speak. Well done! Ah, to see Peter Sellers and Orson Welles in their prime again...
And Woody Allen...Classic
as long as hes not near my daughter...@@wayneatplay
Ah, Jacqueline Bisset as Miss Goodthighs. There was a song about her in it but I don't remember it as it was so long ago.
I love those days thank you. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Burt's music, Hal's lyrics and Dusty's sultry and captivating voice, wow! What an incredible recipe for beautiful music! Thank you!
The sixties were the best decade for sure!
Excellent! Thank you very much these master piece, both movie and song!
One of those movies without a plot with beautiful music, beautiful women and men, landscapes and sets. The filmmakers enjoyed themselves very much. It is so incomplete and undone, that it makes its own style. I've seen it not less than 10 times only for the feel of it. It's like a flower - it is just beautiful without any meaning.
Well Don , from a movie goer from New York City . Can never forget this movie showed in my local theater in 1967 . Every thing in those days was magical . Dusty Springfield became my favorite singer and still is . She was out and gay before the word , gay was out . Dusty Springfield , rest in peace , AND Burt , may God angles take you to a better place . Miss your talent and love for nature .
R.I.P. Burt Bacharach (94)
Awesome Dusty. When Hollywood had glamour and mattered.
Awesome video, of course the song is simply magnificent...Dusty Springfield, what a voice!
Magnificent Dusty Springfield performance of this Classic Burt Bacharach Hal David song one of their best . And to think it lost out to talk to the animals as best song of 1967 at the Oscars what a disgrace cheers Carl
the Oscars are a disgrace ! No one could do B.B .like Dusty and Cella!
Dusty had a once in a lifetime voice. No one sounds like her. Not then, not now.
Dusty and Cella, what a time to be alive!
Karen Carpenter gets very very close, but agreed. Beautiful song.
@@MWRtelevision Just mention Karen and my heart melts!
À truer statement has never been said. Dusty is perfection and nobody past, present, or future will ever come close to her phenomenal, versatile, emotive, sultry, soulful, amazing voice again.
Peter sellers, David Niven , Orson Wells. I’ve never seen this movie, but I’m now intrigued!
Don't let anyone put you or brothers off seeing it. it's a great film.
RIP Burt Bacharach 😔
This wonderful clip was an iconic British moment in time and sadly missed 😢
Exactly. This is so touching video and Dusty's singing. Those were days. Golden sixties. Pink panther is also one part of this legasy.. I'm so sad... what we have a today!? Just crab...
Love this movie, crazy perfect
The cast the music the era...👏
It may never return, but at least it was.
There will never be another Burt Bacharac or Dusty Springfield. Just melts your soul.
This 007 spoof film from '67, has what I consider one of the most iconic theater posters ever.
Brilliant saxophone playing. Everything fits and blends perfectly. Images, voice and instruments.
They don't make em like this today.
Such a beautiful voice.
Sometimes ridiculous old movies like this one can still put a smile on your face and take you back to a time and place in the past. That's not to say there aren't wonderful elements in the movie such as the song Look of Love.
Very true! As long as people can watch these ridiculous old movies from the perspective of the era they were made and not try to apply current standards to them it's easy to have a wonderful time watching them.
Old movie, to me old is ...Gone with the Wind , lol
Saw this the day before going to nam..should of stayed in the theater. God I loved Dusty!
Thank you for your service, and Welcome Home.
This is how movies are made. What a classic.
Fabulous cast and David Niven! Top table fellow.
Great song, great movie, great days. ❤
Those 60's ladies were gorgeous.
wow, movies were magical in the past
Beautiful
Without a doubt, the most sultry voice I've ever heard in my entire life.
Dusty had such a beautiful voice ❤
Immaculate song w/probably the sexiest vocal and production ever, a fantastic cast but a so-so swinging 60's movie relic 👍 high nostalgia factor though!
It's a great movie if you are stoned.
I'm amused by the almost universal disdain for this version of 'Casino Royale,' yet the music, visuals and humor are STUNNING!
I dont care what anybody says, this has always been my Favorite James Bond movie.
It's my favourite movie of all, not just James Bond ones.
Dusty's version of this great song is the BEST of all
thank you for reminding me how much I love Bond and especially Dusty. I was born in 1967 so never got to see this big screen.
I saw this movie once a LONG time ago, probably something like a TV Sunday night movie, and hadn't really thought much about it since. This makes me want to see it again... and not only was the song beautiful the sound quality was remarkable.
I am 60 years old, and looking back...well, it is very bittersweet. I mourn the "good old days." Getting older is rather sad. 😢😔
yes but at least we had that time, what do today's kids have when they are 60? nothing but crappy rap videos and social media posts that absolutely nobody will remember.
@@fredgarv79 Very true
I am going through the same thing you are. 😢😢😢😢
To die young is worse. The sole way to not become old is to die at a younger age. "Those days" were the Vietnam war years, when USA knew horrors,
drugs, fake freedoms and the start of their decline.

Absolutely amazing song, Dusty was spot on!
Breathtakingly Beautiful Ursula Andress and zBeautifuk Dusty Springfield providing possibly the best movie song ever.
Unbelievable that the dimwit Oscar's chose Talk to the Animals over the classic and Divine Dustys breathing lofe into The Look of Love!
Fabulous movie
Best Bond film and score ever. A classic, nothing compares.
Loved when they used this in ‘catch me if you can’ as well
It looks like this movie provided Mike Meyers his storyboards for nearly every Austin Powers movie
My mate , when we were young, said good thing, Dusty is a good thing....
wow, this video seems to be from another planet....love it
I must watch this on again it’s been years ❤❤❤😂
This is the best way to experience the 1967 Casino Royale: Enchanting music and visual splendor, just step over the plot.
This is a terrific movie that no one will admit to having been involved with making it.
What a song. Dusty's husky, throaty sexy voice, the sax solo, breathless and slow, the orchestration, all blended to perfection. The song is some 60 years old and still smolders.
The is a very cool movie! Underrated. Everyone looked great. Burt nailed the music. The movie dripped $$$$.
As Peter Sellers covorts with Ursula Andress to this tune, he mutters, "Do you get many complaints from the neighbors "?
Is that when the circular bed/couch thing sinks into the floor?
@@premanadi Yeah, good memory!
Great selection of clips
Great music (of course)
You made me feel...great!
Thank you
Yes, a well-done video!
To put it simply, this is bloody magic. Whoever put the video together, should be doing TV or Movie. The music track, which I fully understand, being a musician, is the base, and follows, I actually cant put it into place at the moment. The cutting, editing and matching, is something else completely, and I know sweet nothing about film. Being a musician, I was drawn to the video by sound; when I saw the cut, I was enthralled. I love the song, seen the movie numerous times, and have an emotional attachment to the song. If this was the trailer for the movie, it would win an Oscar. Whoever you are? Thanks. It's brilliant, I'd love to give you more credit, you bloody deserve it. What you put together could give you a job on the next Bond movie.....
Sublime !
Her voice on this song just smokes. One of Bacharach and David's and best songs.
RIP Burt 💔
Thanks Burt
Let’s not forget that Burt was half of a team, the other was the genius lyricist Mr. Hal David
RIP Burt ❤️
Just watched the movie for the second time ( first time 50 years ago )......50 years I was seduced by the soundtrack to the movie.... mainly because of the Herb Albert Jazz Intro....It's only recently that I've begun to appreciate Dusty's song.....( because of this tribute)... & on seeing the movie again today.... I gotta say....It's frikkin' AWESOME..... & VERY funny ......with music that brings tears to ya eyes......Just can"t get " The look of love "...song out of my head now..... &.... I Thank you......with all my heart !
What a great and timeless song. Goosebumps
Hermosa canción. La voz de Dusty Springfield es espectacular
Great movie and perfect song :)
Love that song❤
A few years ago, maybe ten years ago, I downloaded all James Bond films that existed up until then, but I lost them before I could binge-watch them. This one I happen to have on DVD
I’ve always thought that this was the sexiest song of all time.

Saw this as a kid in the early 70s. Everything a young boy could want, goofy storyline, gadgets and lots of very pretty women.
