- Hey what is going on guys, today I'm testing out the 2 iRacing LMDh / GTP Cars to see how good the BOP is and how far off one car potentially is from another!! TLDR: The cars are dead even and both have a unique driving style that makes them better and worse than eachother in diffrent aspects!! If you did enjoy this video a like and a sub would mean a lot!! Imagine we get the whole GTP and Hypercar grid. Probably won’t happen cuz the new Le Mans game but it would get awesome to see
GTP’s yes, LMH’s no
@poor ned Motorsport Games (who also owns RF2’s development team Studio397) owns the WEC and Le Mans license. Anything that isn’t in IMSA for hypercars is guaranteed not coming. That’s why there isn’t a 24H Le Mans Special Event in iRacing.
@@JCRacing57 surely nothing bad will come from possibly greedy publishers owning exclusive rights to a sports games and using it to shoot down any competition and instead milk the series dry of the cash flow instead of making any innovations. right?
@@JCRacing57 what you want to say is LMDhs yes, LMH no! These are LMDh cars racing in IMSA's GTP class, not GTP cars.

Great video! For me, the BMW constantly locks up the inside front during trailbraking/turn in. Eager to try the Cadillac!

It's so much better on the brakes. I have the same issue in the BMW. Trailbraking so hard in that car. Caddy much easier.

I liked Caddie..easier to brake heavy, trail in. BMW feels like the ABS in your Moms suv kicks in lol. However I have seen people turn top laps in both cars at Watkins Glen this week

I guess I’m just lucky in driving style because the Cadillac fits my driving style more in terms of your feedback, but it also is my favorite car on the grid irl since it’s announcement 🤩

When The Racing Rats drop their big Le Mans update would you do a comparison of the cars from iRacing to AC? I know they will probably have some bug fixes first so maybe after the bug patches come out if they need them? I really like TRR and I’d love to see how the cars compare. compare what?? AC is just a very old Sim with super out of date physical engine,and those amateur developer is just some car cosplay player, they cosplay a car without any real data from original manufacturer.
think about it , it will cost maybe 10 thousands US dollars to disintegration a racing car and scan it ,how can those poor AC mod developer afford it ? they cant!!

@@electricalglitch6030 Well plenty of people are like me and just flat out can't afford iRacing. I'm not saying the two will be equal of course they won't but I was just wondering if he would give his thoughts as someone who could test both and often shows off AC mods on the main channel. I doubt they would be too similar but I do wonder what he thinks of their mods especially because they are working on overhauling everything in their server at the moment to make them more realistic using data they can obtain.

why is the cadillac faster in the kemmel straight? is that a setup thing, gearing or what's going on?
as i said, the Caddy has less overall downforce naturally, so its a bit faster in the straights, but as you can see, the BMW makes up for it in the medium speed corners
@@JCRacing57yes exactly my point too. The bmw makes up for in mid corners with excellent aero

basically, thde caddy shtis on the bmw on the straights and the bimmer is better in the corners
Not really, they are pretty much dead even everywhere. just how they acheve it is different. Caddy has less downforce but more oversteer to still get the car to rotate. BMW has more downforce but more understeer so you have to set the corners up more. Just depends witch style you like more :D
@@JCRacing57I think the caddy was faster on Eau rouge and the straight after but the bmw was faster in the corners that follows.
