AC...but I am enjoying LMU as well.
Same here!
Really wish it was possible to do proper driver swaps in AC
It's AC for me all day long. One day, Maybe LMU once they finish it & without GT3 it's only half the experience.
I just put together my 2024 Le Mans field together for Assetto Corsa Offline with nearly all the correct liveries. Took me about 3 hours to put everything in with the driver names.
It looks and runs great in my headset, I can replicate the weather accurately, the FFB is top notch, day-night cycle, etc.
I'm gutted to not be trackside this year, but being able to replicate the race in sim as closely as I can has cheered me up. AC ticks all the boxes for me.
I'm 3 seconds off my PB pace in the Loire since last year though!
Did you find a good amount of GT3 liveries? I could only find a couple on RD.
@@JCRacing57 Yeah I found loads on RD searching mostly "2024 WEC #xx". I think 40
Can you share the pack you have?
But the AI is so slow on AC
LMU for me recently has been an absolute blast, cant wait to see what more content they bring to the table 🔥🤙🏼
Rf2 and LMU , but my pc can't run a full grid so i will stick watching the real race 😂
Lmao, well hopefully you can upgrade soon! Great to do some racing yourself with the broadcast on the side!
AMS 2 for me. Being able to setup races with custom evolving track conditions and multiclass racing is pretty fun
The thing you left out in your mini review (and most youtubers do) is VR. If realism is what one is after - and since the idea is to replicate Le Mans - then VR support should be a key factor to consider. For someone with a VR headset that wants an ultra realistic experience, of the 4 games in the list, only AMS2 delivers. And given the hours of pouring rain that plagued this year's event, one can replicate that too. Minus, hopefully, the many hours of FCY that seemed to define the 2024 event.
AMS2 for me, it's awesome in VR
As one of the modders since you have at least 2 of my skins in the video. apreciated the mention for the modders =) Nice video
Nice video. I wanted to give some feedback, you can use it as you like. I think the music in this video was a bit high volume and stressful. Everything else was good. 😁 Maybe it is just me, a grumpy old man. 😅
For us VR users LMU is a no-go as things stand. AMS2 looks amazing in VR. Just a shame fields have a capacity of 32
AC if you want all the cars, Automobolista 2 if you want to have the most fun with the AI, but only with limited selection from the current grid
Get the Content Manager for AMS2 tracks and cars from Project Cars 2.
are you going to make a grid preset for le mans this year for 2024
Thanks man. Can you please send all the necessary links to the AC mods? Paid and non paid? That'd be great 😊
IRacing for me. AC is cool but a PITA with mods
Ac has gotten better and someone made a laser scanned le mans track yesterday done by fennyr
There is a new laserscanned le mans from fenryr so we got that issue solved for ac
LMU 100%
Project cars 2 is quite old now but its still quite good with the spirit of le mans dlc shame its no longer available
My choice might come as a bit of a shock, but I like GT7 for Le Mans. Yes the grid is not even close to being complete, but the AI is really good. And since I don't currently race online, this makes it my best option. But I will say; if I want to just hot lap...AC is the clear winner, especially with all the RSS and VRC cars.
you dont need to pay ANYTHING to get Lemans Experience in Assetto, there are insane quality mods out there for free
AC hands down. But AMS2 is close second.
ams2 is terrible lol
LMU all the way!!! Being a new game updates will come from what I was reading with more cars and tracks. Great game IMO!!
AMS2 is the most fun, just need some more cars
my main problem with AC is that the cars are made by different groups, making their quality very inconsistent across the grid
i recommend VRC and RSS, they are pretty accurate
GT3's is going to be added to LMU by the end of the year
I know, but it’s not there now, unfortunately
Assetto Corsa ultimate edition goes on sale for like 10 bucks constantly
I know, I meant the price of the paid mods, around 3-5$ per car
@@JCRacing57 ahh ok I misheard that. Thanks for clarifying
Hi guys, I'm starting on Assetto Corsa, I'm using content manager but I can't find an option on how to change the race starts, like from a stand start to a moving start, I'm not even sure if this is an option, if anyone can respond it will be very much apreciated, thanks in advance!
AC only has standing starts unfortunately :/
@@JCRacing57 there is a rolling starts mod that you might wanna check out
I found that iRacing AI was okay, but Automobolista 2 AI is very good and give you good fights without killing you like in iRacing, AC's AI is the worst by far
Iracing, only that it only has the GTPs is a bit of a con
First Rfactor 2. It has scanned track, gt3 (except Lexus and Ford Mustang), and LMDH. Second LMU, third assetto corsa nothing more
LMU’s Le Mans is the same as RF2’s
anyone have alternative to the forza AC le mans
The only other LM is the old Racedepartment version, but that one has even worse accuracy, most notably having a horrible bump before tertre rouge
1000th subscriber???
i think so :D
Not one word about physics or FFB. What a waste of time.
The video was more geared to the actual LM content, the physics would more of a general sim review, but:
Assetto Corsa: you either love the physics or find them Arcade-y and hate it
iRacing: Highly debated, another you either love it or hate it, but tire model definitely has its faults
LMU: Same physics are RF2, tire model is very highly regarded but some people just don’t like the feel of how the cars drive
AMS2: probably the most “arcade” physics, gotten substantially better over the years, and has a ton of potential with the madness engine. But alot of people don’t like how the card feels especially with road feel.
Hope that helps!
@@JCRacing57 nah mate, LMU physics and namely the tire model is significantly different to the rF2 one.
rF2 was a drift sim. LMU is most definitely not.
@@JCRacing57 lmu's new tyre update is incredible. way better than rf2.
Definitely AC, you can recreate the same exact grid with the same liveries and trackside objects the problem is that there is no driver swapping
