How did Sol stab the Mother if she turned into a gas. Why didn't Sol just pick up Osha and Mae instead.
Mae really did tell Osha that she was going to kill her and she really was the one who burnt the STONE temple down.
SOMEHOW Master Indara killed all the witches at once and if she just knocked them out then that's even MORE bodies that are tied to Mae.
Torbin took his own life because of the events of this episode btw and all what happened was that he got too excited.
The Mother literally told the Jedi that they will destroy themselves at some point and then she turns into a huge black evil smoke and then she cries to Sol about how she was going to let the kids go but the severe lack of communication and intention caused this.
It was all the witches fault. The Jedi haven't done anything wrong in this episode.
oh yeah and to answer your question about the Nightsisters. They have been around centuries before The Phantom Menace.
@@titanbro5871 I believe the witches were all mind linked together to control Kalnecca and then when Indara purged them out of his mind it was like she mind wiped them all. That must have been the power of many they referred to. And we saw the fire was an electrical fire so I guess it messed up all the mechanical stuff causing them to blow up like a busted up old battery or something.
But only the wiring should be affected. How does an entire mountain burn? The fire spreading made no sense.
Flashbacks are supposed to make you understand and reveal the truth, but this makes no sense at all. There's no motive and makes no sense. This is not just the worst starwars show. This is the worst who done it show i have ever seen

But even still it's still a choice the parents know the jedi are important so they mostly give up their children willing. Or don't they have that right nobody is forced to be a jedi so I don't understand your criticism. You seem to be in the camp that want to demonize the heroes of the story thats not gonna work.

I also like exploring the perspective of decent peoples in the galaxy and why they are skeptical of the Jedi. Because while the Jedi are a force for good, doing the right thing is never easy. That's why I object to the Jedi refusing to train older students. Because I think it's too easy and comes from a fear of the dark side. And you know what the Jedi say about fear.

The witches mention in episode 3 that they learned from "someone else" how to create the twins. It the whole reason why they are so afraid of the Jedi learning anything about them because they will be questioned about it.

Because his master told him not to interfere, he did, it created a conflict, and then Indara had to kill them all to save them and Kalnecca. Indara then shamed Torbin heavily back on the ship. Did you watch the episode?

The only reason the Jedi Council did not grant them the right to interfere was because Brendock was outside the Republic jurisdiction. The reason for his shame was because it got the entire coven killed. He had the deaths of 50 women and a child on his conscious. Pleaguis novel has never been apart the film series, never. When Lucas was developing the Star Wars Underworld tv show Palpatine was going to have a completely different back story.
And yet George LET THE EU HAVE NEW STORIES. Lucasfilm doesn't do that despite fans asking them for ten years now.

Thought it was a pretty dope episode. I feel bad for the kid Torbin though. I like seeing baby Jedi stressed out and emotionally a mess. Shows they’re human and for that particular time, they ain’t have all their s*** together yet.

Also in regards to the “antagonist” of the series, you are correct in that there is no clear villain. It could be the other mother with the horns, as she is not dead. Could be Master Venestra (green lady)…could be Qimir…could still be Plagueis 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
The writing in this episode imo was much easier to follow and I’d even say this was one of the better episodes in terms of cinematic feel. Not by much lol but in terms of the series as a whole.
Clearly a lot of stuff had to be contrived so that way future events could play out. I.e Torbin feeling guilty and offing himself because he is the SOLE reason why everything happened.
Had he sat his dumbass down instead of getting on the speeder and going straight to the witches, I’m sure things would be been chill.
Granted we have no idea what the ritual would’ve been like if the twins had fully “ascended”.
Mae stated that her mom told her “people will be sacrificed so her and Osha can become leaders” …whatever that means 🤷🏾♂️

Anakin was like a Jesus figure. Force created him out of chance (or intentionally depending if the balance of force concept)
Osha and mea were created by man (or witches in this case) like Cell (DBZ) out of condensed midecorians

The question of whether or not Anakin was a miracle of the Force or a Sith created was fully intended by Lucas.
@@Darthpsychonis having watched the final episode; the twins were basically one human being split in two by using convergence of the planets force. So they are not supposed to retcon Anakin as the chosen one

My point was that Lucas fully intended to suggest that the Sith created Anakin and wasn't actually a miracle of the Force, but he ends up fulfilling the prophecy regardless. However George ultimately decided to keep it vague so that people can draw their own conclusions. The show here is definitely leaning towards Plaguies creating him thou, either intentionally or unintentionally. The twins were created the same way. They are said to be born from the Zabrak women via the black woman manipulating the Force. Anakin is still the chosen one in the George Lucas Star Wars, but as Geekdom said RoS has already made the idea of the prophecy a mess. I don't like it but it is what it is.
Meh, there is a difference regarding "the virgin birth" - the show stated the twins were artificially created, whereas Anakin was naturally created by the Force. The stuff with Palpatine/Plagueis is never stated in the shows or movies, so it really doesn't count.
Lucas himself said that his intention was that the Sith created Anakin but he decided to keep it vague so that people can draw their own conclusions.
@@Darthpsychonis it worked better to be vague, since in AOTC and ROTS, the vagueness made the Jedi cling on the prophecy until the very end and ignored Anakin's huge red flags.

Garbage episode
This show has been decent imo but this by far was the worst episode.
This issue over the VERGENCE is a matter of misunderstanding, Anakin was a VERGENCE in the Force, in this case, a person that the Force chose to gather and center around, not necessarily a Virgin Birth, two entirely different concepts, we actually have no evidence given anyway that Shmi was a virgin.
I'm glad someone understands this. The show does have a lot of issues and deserves some of the hate it's getting, but people who think that the word "vergence" means "virgin" are just exposing their own illiteracy.

Mae does say the word sacrifice in her explanation of the ritual to Indara and Sol. Obviously not a literally death sacrifice, but how are the Jedi supposed to know that? A coven of dark side force wielding witches, kids being involved in a “sacrifice”, etc. all looks/sounds pretty bad tbh.

Why? Do you tell sports fans to stop watching their favorite team when they're losing or making bad decisions? No, you don't. Why? Because they're a fan. Regardless of how crappy the franchise gets. Plus, he's a youtuber so he's going to review stuff he likes or dislikes. Fans like you can't fathom the fact that people LEGIT don't like this show. You've been in so many replies trying to defend a very mid show. It has good and bad stuff, but overall, it's pretty bad. YOU can enjoy it. Just like others don't have to and can say why. Get over yourself. The show isn't good.

He's not milking them. He is entitled to his own opinion, even if it's negative, so that's fine with me. What I don't like is that he rushes these videos as soon as the episode is over, and he clearly misremembers stuff and gives a rushed opinion that might change if he rewatched the episode or just let some more time pass. You can tell that he's just struggling to remember details from the episode, but still tries to critique them. That's what I have an issue with.
@@Merione or just stop pretending SW lore is something he cares about. One minute he admits to not following it anymore and then the next he claims this show breaks lore which is simply not true. Also it was Torbin who suggested they could be Nightsisters and Indara who shot the idea down, not Sol. Plus the Ahsoka series told us they came to the galaxy from Peredia, so yeah why would it even be a question if they existed 100 years before Phantom Menace? They freaking discuss them in this episode. Foolish.
