All he did is he reflected some arrows. I guess that was enough for him to delete himself LMAO - A wookie with a metal detector... I officially seen it all
Wait so the counsel knows they were there for the twins? Ok so, Sol brings one of the twins back and the counsel doesn’t think to find out what happened? Sol and the rest of them didn’t find the need to tell the counsel that the twins were born using some dark side of the force like powers most likely from the night sisters? The Jedi who were on that mission are dying left and right and the counsel doesn’t think to investigate the issue? This is just terrible writing n lore breaking in itself with the whole virgin thing, even tho Disney did that with the last skywalker already.
At this point they have to start assuming rogue Jedi. It's the only conclusion. After that, the Jedi Shadows come out to play and start 'disappearing' people because they legitimately can't risk a canon breaking Fifth Schism. Yes the Jedi Order has dedicated assassins to tackle the issue of rogue 'Jedi' that prove too difficult to be handled by a squad of Jedi Knights. Between them and the Temple Guards, the Jedi have some legitimate scary and effective 'Troubleshooters' for internal issues.
Well, the Jedi never were the smartest individuals. Just watch the clone wars to see that play out. They find out about the clone chips and then don't really do anything about it afterwards. Kind of a good thing since otherwise order 66would not have happened.
The jedi by that point are a beurocracy not an order. It's why Yoda in the novelisation runs and hides. He might be able to beat Sidious but he thinks the old Jedis time is done since they spent ten thousand years training to fight the last war while the Sith spent it preparing to win the next one. It's also why he teaches Luke to use the force, resist the dark side and nothing about the Jedi Lore. He wanted Luke to forge a new order.
I don't even get the controversy within the show. They went to the witches' coven to try to get the twins, which is questionable, but then Mother Amabalama or whatever her name is turns into a cloud of death to attack the Jedi and they defend themselves and she says "oh but I was gonna let you have her". Uh... then why are you fucking attacking him? Then at the end Trinity says to lie by saying Mae started a fire but Mae really did start a fire. She seemed to regret it but she sure did it. The Jedi don't know Mae regrets it. They shouldn't know Mae started the fire in the first place though so I don't know what the hell everyone is supposed to know actually. The witches all die because... uh... they just do? Breaking the wookiee out of their control suddenly killed like 48 witches? If it did, it killed them because THEY WERE ATTACKING THE JEDI. So... witches who said they were going to let the Jedi have the girl used violence to stop the Jedi and now the Jedi are bad because they defended themselves? I mean you could argue they should not have bothered the witches in the first place which would be really valid, but after that point nothing fucking controversial even happened. Sol deciding to save Osha over Mae is questionable, but he's saving one instead of letting them both die, which is rough but quite understandable. I don't see where the Jedi are the bad guys any way you look at it. If the witches weren't on the attack, and the Jedi just slaughtered them because they're non-registered force users or something, then that would be bad.
If you go on the Acolyte Wikipedia page, it says Mother Koril is the sith master to Qimir and apprentice to Darth Tenebrous 😂😂 they spoiled the finale already. I can’t wait to see how they fuck up Tenebrous
The head witch messed with Torbin's mind and inflated his desire to go home That's why he went for the girls (to return home). Just before the end fight Sol stops Torbin. The blonde witch attacked first. When the head witch turns into smoke, Sol looks to his right to Torbin. He thinks she is attacking Torbin again, and defends him. The witches mind-controlled the wookie to kill the jedi. Master Indara tried to stop it, she didn't hurt the witches on purpose. If the witches hadn't attacked, no one would have died (except maybe in the fire set by Mae).

Actually it’s really only a 7 episode season. The two flashback episodes are recut from the same footage. They only shot 7 episodes of content for the show so really were talking closer to 26m per episode here.
After Disney Episode VIII came out, I read one reviewer say: "It's as if they designed the story to try and make you feel bad about loving everything you loved in the original trilogy."
Thank you for watching this ... show ... and providing a synopsis. Once upon a time, I looked forward to seeing anything to do with Star Wars. I miss those days.
I found the most jarring part of the episode was the end credits when they played a pop song. Like normally I couldn't care less if you played a pop song at the end of a movie. But never in Star Wars. Something about that just annoyed the crap out of me.
If the witches mind-floomped the Wookie, and Jedi Master Trinity pushed them out and consequently the witches died, that's on them not her. I don't see why Trinity would lie to the Jedi Council
Not all Jedi are super-warriors. Novels have actually depicted support Jedi scientists. It's also a time of relative peace so Jedi have tedious jobs to do.
Honest question: was the goal of the episode to have me think the Jedis are the bad guys? Because even in this unfavorable depiction of them, they really didn't do anything wrong. The "worst" thing any of them did was Sol stabbing the lead witch, which I think is a reasonable reaction to seeing her eyes go black, turn herself into smoke, and start turning Mae into smoke. The lead witch went into Torbin's head and started messing with him for no reason, showing themselves to be a threat the Jedi have to be on edge for. The other lead witch then gaslights Mae into starting a fire instead of respecting Osha's (and the lead witch's) wishes and letting her go with the Jedi. Then they all combine to take over the Wookie Jedi's mind after aggression that they instigated and died for their troubles. Everything in this episode was either directly or indirectly the fault of the Witches.
We never see the one witch actually inhabit the Wookiee’s body. We also know they they don’t physically enter the mind from earlier episodes. I think all of the witches sitting had taken over his mind which is why they die. The other mother probably got away and met Qimir at some point. Their hate for Jedi probably brought them together. Possibly how he knows how to get into Jedi’s minds as well. Just a theory but I think the other Mother is still alive somehow.
I have so many questions but I don’t know where to start 😂 the horned witch doesn’t die, the main mother does a magic thing that leads to nowhere… I mean this is tragic
What an unbelievable misunderstanding of what the Jedi are. And Torbin? We see him as a Padawan. Then he's in a trance for 16 years. But he's a Master?! What?!!!

What an absolutely vapid motivation, this all happened because torbin wanted to GO HOME lmfaoooooooo. Then souel why does he want this little girl so bad ???! I feel sorry for the actor who plays Sol. He tries so hard to do a good job with such terrible writing and such an awful role. He’s clearly a fine actor, but he can’t win here. I’ve heard that he learned English for this part. I hope he can join in a very different production that is well written and a worthwhile story, working with other actors who respect each other and the material they bring to life. This series is worse than unbelievably, insultingly bad. It is more than incompetence and runaway narcissism. It’s deliberate destruction of something millions have loved for decades. And I still want to know who got the biggest pieces of that ridiculous $180,000,000 budget.
Remember, the show runner is apparently under the impression that there will be a Season 2, so I almost guarantee no one of consequence will die in Episode 8. Darth Swole was originally planned to be the main driving force in season 2, so he's not dying. Sol maybe? Obviously neither of the twins will die. It's going to be another boring snooze fest where the moron twin is rescued and nothing else happens.
Some questions remain unanswered, hoping that the next episode will be explained to us. How did Mai survive? How did Qimir meet Mai? Osha's second mother and what happens to her? Since she isn't shown, did she die like the other witches once Kelnacca returned to normal? In any case, the scene of the witches all dying together was cringe

The Jedi were trained by Master Harvey Weinstein on his to collect little girls for service
It's not their fault
@@Senkoau and they made him hide on an island and drink green tiddy milk😂

His master is the twin's mother.

So mother poppyseeds was the black smoke monster in lost! Well that certainly solves that mystery for me! 😂
I found the most jarring part of the episode was the end credits when they played a pop song. Like normally I couldn't care less if you played a pop song at the end of a movie. But never in Star Wars. Something about that just annoyed the crap out of me.
All on purpose.
If the witches mind-floomped the Wookie, and Jedi Master Trinity pushed them out and consequently the witches died, that's on them not her. I don't see why Trinity would lie to the Jedi Council
So the Jedi are galactic botanists as well. Brilliant writing, great use of the Jedi's skills.
That's because this show is more influenced by Star Trek than Star Wars.
they are galactic child traffickers
Not all Jedi are super-warriors. Novels have actually depicted support Jedi scientists. It's also a time of relative peace so Jedi have tedious jobs to do.
I think I figured it out. The purpose of the acolyte is to explain why Wookiees became excluded from being Jedi.
Harvey Weinstein’s former personal assistant apparently isn’t very talented. But hey, girl power, amirite?!
She’s experienced with grooming. So she’s writing what she knows personally
He's no Qui-Gon,, but maybe he's BYE-GONE (or soon will be).
This is why I am so glad that this show is no longer canon in my head.

Remember, the show runner is apparently under the impression that there will be a Season 2, so I almost guarantee no one of consequence will die in Episode 8. Darth Swole was originally planned to be the main driving force in season 2, so he's not dying. Sol maybe? Obviously neither of the twins will die.
